181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / TabiChain testnet is Live on: March 04, 2024, 06:54:02 AM
Another Binance back project launches their official testnet campaign.

https://twitter.com/Tabichain/status/1764531456062390556?t=FTpQCss5gWyCvxLgoyZnpA&s=19

Their not explicitly saying that there is an airdrop but surely this event marks a close to their launch on mainnet soon and expecting to do massive campaign for everyone. Try it out and who knows might drop some free tokens to the testers.
182  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Or Investing which one is better to focus on right now? on: March 04, 2024, 05:52:36 AM
So now, what do y'all do? As for me, I just invested in some coins I believe that will surge in few months while I observe what the market is doing.

I want to know what guys do. Are some of you trading the market regardless or some of you are like me, investing and observing the market
Well quite the same too farming some possibly airdrop from the altcoins and keep holding some major coin such as eth then used it to stake or get another airdrop from it. Invested also on some low to medium cao projects or token sale. Not sure if bitcoin will continue but once its settled then altcoins will likely follow through.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which do you prefer, CEXs or DEXs? on: March 04, 2024, 04:45:54 AM
For major trading I prefer cex and I have option to set order on price that I know and also good for trading futurea and margin. Id like dwx only for my shitcoins or meme trading. But I dont know if Im gonna weigh both Id prefer fboth of them like on cex theres option to withdraw via p2p while on dex theres a chance to buy tokens at low price vefore it explode on cex. So for me Id say 50/50.

But for storing crypto no doubt I will pick dex ovwr cex.
184  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is there a way to bridge out bitcoin testnet to bitcoin signet? on: March 03, 2024, 02:18:10 PM
It's going to take about 9-10 days in order to receive a payment from this faucet according to this screenshot, but at least it's better than the current mess that is testnet (scarce coins, now being stolen to make airdrops, long block waiting times, etc.) Hopefully you are able to wait that long.
Thanks for the heads up. Ive got it already on discord from the campaign I am doing. Yes some faucets Ive tried will take week or so to receive but the campaign wouldnt last that long but thanks for sharing this, Ive done the task and completed it.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's last big rally in this cycle on: March 03, 2024, 11:49:35 AM
I don't think it is the ETF approval that is causing the increase in bitcoin alone. I believe it was intended to go this way because of the halving that will occur. In my own perspective, i feel like the halving has more impact than the ETF approval.
Well Bitcoin halving is close and were really few days from it so many anticipate a great run. But who knows if whales are gonna dump on us before the halving. This event have impact on some miners and probably some institutions are gonna weigh in the market direction if they feel its gonna collapse then some will sell. Its just sell the news and buy the rumors.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you still Invest in the potential heartbreakingly AltCoins? on: March 03, 2024, 09:25:15 AM
AltCoin doesn't sound reputable and reliable because it is like the jungle requiring only the fittest to survive and you must be smart, vigilant and awake in the market if you must not be left heartbroken with its flexibility potnetials to lost of asset funds.
We all knows about this so tell us, why do you still take that risk of investing in AltCoins?
With your knowledges about AltCoins can you afford to advise anyone to stil invest there in AltCoins even with the tussles?
Well with a proper due diligence and researched you could break that mindset on investing on some altcoins. Yes bitcoin is good one but if you likely invested on some potential altcoins then you are good to earn more than what can Bitcoin offers. Yes its risky and highly volatile but thats where you need some expertise on timing and execution. Like sell if it hits your target and dont be greedy.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DID you get portal airdrop? on: March 03, 2024, 08:26:59 AM
We cannot say that it changes people's lives because I assume that the best profit you can get from Adrop is $5,000. If you wait for several months and the market is rising, it will become $10,000. This is if you are very lucky and it may happen to you once in your life. $10,000 will not change. Your life in most countries of the world or buy you luxury for the rest of your life.
You sure about that? Im pretty sure many lives have change for some airdrops and did bought some properties, business and many more. I remember Ive got more than $10k before from airdrop. Its just that people dont use the money correctly. These money comes from free airdrop could change your live id you kniw how to handle finances and make it more profit out of this.
188  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Latest news in crypto? on: March 02, 2024, 03:22:51 PM
Hello, since bitcoin is on the bullish side again, I permit myself to read and research again about crypto (quite busy nowadays because of work and post-graduate study hence time is precious).  So far, bounty campaigns and air drops are lively again and I hear my friends getting big rewards recently.

I just want to ask what is the "new" or "hype" thing this time?  Last time was the introduction of NFT, what about this time?  Or are there any specific reason why Bitcoin is in the bull run right now? Is it because of the halving or the ETF?

Thanks in advance.
Well first reason is that etf approval it really did some good impact on bitcoin price prior to bitcoin halving. Many expect a dumo before or close to halving but instead it did pumped. So Im guessing that historical pattern will likely change. Id just hope it is mroe bullish than ever and we can expect a healthy movement from crypto projects.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DID you get portal airdrop? on: March 02, 2024, 02:26:12 PM
Yesterday there was much excitement twitter about Portal airdrop with multiple platforms like Binance, Bitget,L bank listing. I wasn't lucky to participate hence I feel the need to ask. Anyone that got the airdop here, was the stress worth it?maybe this could be a motivator to take these airdrop quest serious
Unfortunately not included. Well my friends or co crypto friends got them and they didnt expect its worth especially when they saw the Binancr announcement and they just did some task continously on twitter. I think thats gotta be a good result for some but other project sometimes become a nuissance.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Phase 2 of Manta newparadigm Possibility? on: March 02, 2024, 07:59:52 AM
Regarding your query that it is official or not, well apart from the announcement, you can also see that the withdrawal button is disabled the at moment and it will enable on 26th of march and we will be able to withdraw ETH on that date. By the way, i still wait for the Phase 2 of this airdrop  Roll Eyes
Wow thats an old button I yet to see. Anyway will check back when that time arrives. Since I am just laying my stone parked somewher3 earning points. Just that manta team really jist the reward too much time. Hope thats a pretty good juicy ine for that longer period. Also do you have any idea about the manta nft for those who got the modular nft? I know that they will drop that for those who mint that box.
191  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto's networth ever being rated? on: March 02, 2024, 07:20:07 AM
So I ask, is Satoshi Nakamoto who is the inventor of this bitcoin technology richer that those populated world influential richest investors who still invests in his investment technology platform (bitcoin)?
I asked this because I haven't heard about Satoshi Nakamoto's networth as other investors are globally rated.
Or does the sake of his bitcoin anonymity affect all ramifications of his life to stay anonymous?
Well theres people who are still richer than him. Plus we cant confirm either that bitcoin he have considered valuable since he never access his fund since then worse case is his dead already so those coins are also not included in the supply unless someone can access his fund and started unloading it. Once that balance started to move either him or anyone who have access on his wallet there will be a lot of chaos or hearsays.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Are You Identifying Potential Coins for the Bull Run? on: March 01, 2024, 10:15:23 PM
My technique is quite simple be early. Nothing beats those early on some projects that are able to buy or do things to gain more tokens. Well airdropping or trading is both same principle once you are on the early bird then you really will ripped off profits in the end later on cause chances that those are gonna pump or rise is quite high. The verdict there is its risky and unsure at first.
193  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Mistakes?? on: March 01, 2024, 07:16:38 AM
Being new to the world of digital finance,  I think a great way to start and excel is by gathering information from the experienced here, on the biggest mistakes you have made, and things to do and avoid. I really think that'd be a big plus for an upcoming investor like myself.
Well first off is avoid investment if youre a beginner yet. Of course you wanna invest and make money right away but you must also study on which project or why should you invest on particular project right? Crypto is quite dangerous sometimes it could ruin your life by being dragged with so much loss and negative portfolio. Investing is risky which you should alway remember first.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the Season of Airdrops? on: March 01, 2024, 03:59:59 AM
Airdrops are good but they are not concrete generators of profit. If you participate in a lot of airdrops, it’s very least likely that you gain profit. Nevertheless, there is really no regret or some sort when it comes to airdrops because it’s free.
Well thats youe opinion but I beg to disagree I am participating on tons of airdrops that are worth to farm and I can say that its worth it. Airdrops that are retroactive are most valuable for me.. Id spend gas yes or some funds being locked up but the outcome its give is way more than to be consider as generators of profits. How I can say, let say Id spend $61 gas fee on doing some task on starknet and received some tokens worth more than $1k isnt that called token a profit?
195  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Few cons to be aware of before going into Bitcoin on: March 01, 2024, 02:09:17 AM
Not accepted everywhere: Even as the rise of cryptocurrency is upon us, Bitcoin, still isn't accepted just everywhere. Major companies now recognizes Bitcoin as a means if exchange, it's still not widely accepted. This puts a limit on where you can spend.
Well its quite hard to let everyone just accepts it as it is. Not all are aware on how blockchain works and its advantages. Also there are some business enterprises that still prefer the traditinal payment system or lets just say partners. Probably some are trying it out for additional options or some are pro crypto but this will take time for massive and globally launch adoption.
196  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Coingecko - portfolio tracker? on: February 29, 2024, 12:56:01 PM
Hi,

I have been using Coingecko for almost a year now and I like the app however there is one thing that is bugging me.

When I look at my portfolio I have almost doubled the amount I have invested, worked out it is +89%.

However the app is showing my profit is only +65% and not sure why.

I wont say the amount I have invested but as example it is like I have invested £1000 and my profit is £890 which should be +89% but the app is only showing +65%.

Anyone else have this problem or know what is wrong? Maybe I am just having a dumb moment  Undecided
Sometimes the percentage isnt the same on the exchange or depends on when you input the data cause sometimes coingecko has a reference based of previous transaction made.  Well if you knew your balance was, then the value fluctuates to a different figure then just compute it manually to have an estimate potential gain.
197  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is rising faster and faster, It is time to Buy Bitcoin ! on: February 29, 2024, 06:35:19 AM
Bitcoin price is rising faster and faster, It is time to Buy Bitcoin now before it is too late !

Is bitcoin price going to be above the $100 K end of the next 6 months ?

If it does, its mean it will cross  $150K by 25 December 2024.
Thats a bit high for an estimation why not we take it slowly as many speculated a wils bull run this year. Who knows if we reached to that level and many are also have different opinion on that. Its like were almost near the previous ATH but yet to see some movement from altcoins. Is the era changing and all money flowing into bitcoin alone or we can experience the so called bull run alt season.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MONEY FLOW Trends in CRYPTOCURRENCIES on: February 29, 2024, 05:37:43 AM
I don't know how to track this money flow, or trend change, does anyone know how or where? What would be the best place to find a detailed information related to this?
I know after AIs we have DEFIs and then MEMEs, but the rest is very unclear to me, if anyone could give me a starting point, that would be awesome!

Thanks
Well probably you are asking is of the trend right? Apparently there some rumors on whats hot in the coming days but that was just a statement its always up to you to believe this and thunk if their suggesting field of crypto that would bloom this year are really about them. Like depin projects, rwas and some AI trending one. These are all speculation that yet to be seen if working.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Does it feel to be Balls Deep in altcoin, when only bitcoin is rising? on: February 29, 2024, 02:40:04 AM
Well thats kinda bit hurting Im also balls feep on some alts but still have major alts that are coinicides with the pump of bitcoin like eth. Good thing I am using eth on some lsdfi hencr it got hold also earning some points like eigenlayer and renzo. I think after bitcoin settled a bit it will shift to alts thats where we should wait for at the moment and take the chance. Its always like that or course bitcoin first then next major alts then go to shitcoins and moderate projects.
200  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is there a way to bridge out bitcoin testnet to bitcoin signet? on: February 28, 2024, 01:36:58 PM
But I wonder: why do you need to swap anything, if you can produce coins on your own CPU? In case of signet, you can just change signetchallenge into OP_TRUE. And in case of testnet3, you can just locally connect two nodes, ignore the outside traffic, and simply put your system clock 20 minutes forward (and then, any block with the minimal difficulty will allow you to test mining).
Hey cause I had already testnet bitcoin but Ive just asked for this. Hey I am using OKX wallet for the signet bitcoin address since that was stated in the campaign I am joining. Actually just need few some of this bitcoin signet to try out the staking on the platform I am joining but the faucets for every signet Id try isnt working or maybe out of stock. Id love your respone but Im not that kind of techie when it comes to bitcoin other stuff. Thats why Im asking someone for help. Thanks fir the explanation.
