what about hermaphrodites?
5  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you think another 51% attack will happen? on: January 26, 2014, 02:13:07 PM
The longer it takes to happen the more unlikely it will be surely. Obviously more power will be needed as time continues as more and more power is added to the pool. Theres been a few alt coins that have died from 51% attacked early on. Pretty hard to get a new one off the ground unless you've got some serious power behind you to stop an attack like that.

8  Economy / Economics / Re: Difficulty.....It can't keep going up 30% each increase. on: December 24, 2013, 07:36:47 PM
He may plan on having 15% of the networks hashing power but that will drop daily unless he keeps matching what other people are adding to it + 15%
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Difficulty.....It can't keep going up 30% each increase. on: December 23, 2013, 11:33:41 PM
it only keeps going up as more mining power is added. if people stop adding rediculous amounts of power to the pool then the difficulty will drop. there were gentlemen's agreements proposed about things like this a while back. They go as far back as the transition from cpu to gpu.

10  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: A new approach of BTC mining on: December 17, 2013, 10:19:31 PM
LOL at the OP for thinking he "found" martingale.

I didn't say I "found" martingale. I just said I use it. Grin

Threads called "new way..." Martingale or "double principal" is anything but new ;-)
11  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: To start over or not to start over after theft on: December 17, 2013, 09:38:22 PM
Personally I think mining isn't the way to go. It costs far too much these days. Your best bet is simply buying coins when you feel the price is as low as it will go. Then sit on them and sell them when its as high as you see it going

14  Economy / Services / Re: 3D printing service for bitcoin (soon) on: December 10, 2013, 02:47:54 AM
That looks like an awesome mecano type project! Makes me wish I were a bit better with electronics. Been wanting to convert an old Epson printer into a dtg printer but definitely ain't got the skills for that!
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: THE CRASH OF THE BITCOIN BUBBLE HAS BEGUN! SEE CHART. on: December 10, 2013, 02:29:12 AM
I look forward to the pop. I'll once again buy more coins when it hits low then sit on them and wait for it to rise again ;-)
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Just another noob wishing he jumped in the pool earlier on: December 10, 2013, 02:25:47 AM
Could be worse. I got scammed outta most of my coins with vdragon. Lost my.last 0.4 when tradefortress 'got hacked' the annoying part was that the last 0.16 I mines went to my inputs address AFTER the hack and i still can't get it back :-@
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will one day be superseded by a technically superior NuCoin. What then? on: December 09, 2013, 01:46:20 PM
If this magic "NuCoin" (seriously why nu coin, why not say New Coin, you promoting Tee nucoin?) were to replace bitcoin it wouldnt happen overnight and make bitcoin suddenly worthless.
Bitcoin will always have a value. It had one way back when it first started (although it was tiny, ie 10,000 coins being worth around $40 in 2009) and it will continue to do say way into the foreseeable future.
