2  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon A1041 Review on: July 22, 2019, 02:12:02 PM
Given my Blokforge order for an A1041 was supposed to ship July 15-20, if it doesn't ship today (because of the weekend) I'll consider it officially late.

Heads and I have engaged minerjones as escrow for this transaction. SSD has been shipped, I will update after it arrives.

Any non-demo A10's seen in the wild yet? It's looking like Canaan/Blokforge have blown the "early July" delivery date promised for those of us who bought in early May...

The 1041 listing that I purchased was more specific about shipping being between July 15-20. I always feel more comfortable when they specify a date range beyond "early." I will be sure to update this thread whether I receive shipping or not by the 21st.

6  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S15 Power Supply trouble on: June 27, 2019, 04:42:31 PM
The miner and the integrated PSU have a communication line between them to fine tune supplied voltage that it would not be able to do with the APW3.
7  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTB s17 Pro , Antminer z11 on: June 26, 2019, 05:05:00 PM
I feel like this could be cleared up (if true) very easily if OP would simply say that the pricing of their sale offering is out of date. This pump has driven prices for the limited amount of gear through the roof, wouldn't surprise me. OTOH, could be scam posts trying to lure people into transactions that would strip them of their hard-earned coins.

buyer/seller beware and use a reputable escrow
8  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon A10 series announced on: June 22, 2019, 05:03:27 AM

9  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 20 Raritan ZeroU 240V/24A PDUs - 20 C13 switched & metered outlets $120 on: May 30, 2019, 06:54:57 PM
I just realized I never updated after they arrived!

The two PDU's I ordered arrived quickly and were exactly as described (damn near mint actually) and were actually taller than I'd pictured them to be. Got them set up easily and they have been used without a problem ever since. The metered information is fantastic, from line voltage to amps, watts and pf for each individual outlet.

I can recommend both the seller and the product.

Have any of these shipped/appeared in the wild yet?
11  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS - 2x Antminer S17-PRO 53TH/S with 2x APW9 on: May 23, 2019, 04:20:37 PM
Is this trade still open? How much are you selling them for?

I'm sure this trade scam is still available
12  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS: 114 L3+ with PSU, Located in: NY on: April 19, 2019, 03:45:49 PM
Sorry. I'm only in tune with the bulk sales market. I don't mess around with onesies and twosies, so I wouldn't know what they sell for in the minor leagues.

Everyone knows that buying in bulk increases per unit prices!
13  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain will be releasing S15 and T15 on 8/11/2018 on: April 19, 2019, 02:58:34 PM
To provide an update on the reliability side:

Both my T15's have been hashing away at 23.3 and 23 TH/s without problem for a few months now. Consuming 1475 W at 23.3 TH/s for an efficiency of just under 64 W/TH. This is at 208V.

That was my belief from the photo's as well. Definitely 4 fans, unless the pics are wrong.

Have you manufactured any chips? Is there anything physical that you can use to prove your claims?

Why do I remember the whole covert AB drama being that the covert piece was that their AB allowed them to do so without a different version number? And that SegWit would make this covert version incompatible and thus their vehement opposition to that prop?
20  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon A10 series announced on: April 01, 2019, 07:11:12 PM
When I check the Blokforge link, it shows 1199$ USD.

They do still state pricing and shipping is TBA. I'm  not sure if that's because the site picks up that I'm in Canada, as I know it displays to cover tarrifs or lack thereof depending.

They may have a price point in mind but I think to move these quickly they will need to come in low. There are just to many unknowns for them with the Bitmain, and MicroBT releases that are coming.

I am interested to see if this goes the route of say a 1021 then a 1041 following a few months later.

I got screwed over pretty badly by the last order of 741's getting canceled by Canaan and then having my order changed to an 821. I agreed to that change, thinking I was getting the best of the next generation of miners, only to have the 841 come over very shortly thereafter at a much, much better price. I'll never do a preorder in general or buy the *21/first set of a new gen from Canaan again.

I did the above ordering through minerwarez (glad to see them have virtually nothing for sale after the treatment from them) and was promised by them we would be receiving a "special gift" as a thank you for putting up with the delays and getting screwed by the immediately dropped price for those who did not preorder. Never received anything and my inquiries were ignored. To be clear, I blame the distributor for this entirely.
