121  Economy / Economics / Re: When will the role of fiat currency disappear against crypto. on: October 08, 2021, 11:03:07 PM
I don't think bitcoin and cryptocurrencies will replace fiat currencies. We are looking forward to them being incorporated into our economies.

Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies will be included as means of payments in economic sectors in most countries at some point.

There is a paradox here, we are communities around the world that are already using it as a way of life and even the central power is creating regulations so that the system works when we have already verified it.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The difficulty of explaining Bitcoin to people is massive on: October 08, 2021, 10:47:22 PM
I explain it to people about bitcoin in much the same way that OP did. Another of the most outstanding characteristics is the volatility and some ideas of why the variation of bitcoin prices occurs.
As bitcoin becomes more popular, people are becoming interested in learning how it works and how to start investing.
We must commit to taking a little bit of our time to educate people to enter the crypto space in an easy and safe way.
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a world power? on: October 08, 2021, 10:35:40 PM
"bitcoin is not a physical cash, that doesn't stop anything".

I love this line from OP, and I think we all agree. Bitcoin is unstoppable and every day it grows stronger due to the support of the whole world, when a massive adoption occurs we will see bitcoin in our daily lives, just as we are concerned about knowing the price of the US dollar, euro and other currencies on a daily basis. The same way will also happen with the price of bitcoin.
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi about to show up? on: October 08, 2021, 10:15:35 PM
I share the same opinion of some members that Satoshi will not reveal his identity. He doesn't have to, if he already achieved what he wanted by creating bitcoin. That of giving us the power to free ourselves from centralization that does not make us participate in everything.
Many times it is exclusive and only the elites benefit.

I think that Satoshi we are all as we have manifested every time we have the opportunity and the charity comes from each one of us so if you think that you can contribute with a charity work, then do it!
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reason why businesses should accept Bitcoin payment on: October 08, 2021, 09:57:34 PM
I agree, OP. Businesses should today start accepting bitcoin and cryptocurrencies taking advantage of the opportunity if their nations are friendly with cryptocurrencies.

It is a change that is inevitable because just as large technology companies were born, so it will happen with bitcoin and cryptocurrencies that were adopted throughout the world.

It only remains for people to worry about learning about how bitcoin works and the benefits it can offer them in their economies.
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you want to see Bitcoin legal in your country? on: October 07, 2021, 08:59:30 PM
Bitcoin is legal in Venezuela. I could say that our country is friendly with cryptocurrencies.
On January 31, 2019, a law was enacted to regulate the operation of cryptocurrencies in the country.

https://twitter.com/JoselitRamirez/status/1091083204700852226?t=5STt6y8bMjXdNfTPkJziKQ&s=19

The problem that exists that we are not successful with its use is that the Venezuelan population has not been educated for this purpose.
Some sectors of society know how to use it but even those sectors are too few for us to see the results.
We were not educated as the president of El Salvador did with his people.

A solution could be to take that resource that is in our laws and inform Venezuelans that they can get out of the economic crisis with the use of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if stop believing about bitcoin ? on: October 07, 2021, 05:02:14 PM
Since ancient times there have been incredulous people in our time we see it daily. I share a teaching of the bible that is presented to me on many occasions by which I identify myself. With my thinking I am only comparing that we are lucky because we believe in bitcoin. The biblical passage in reference is when Jesus resurrected on the third day and met his disciples and spoke especially to Tomas.

Quote
Jesus said to him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen, and have believed."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_20:29

The same thing happens to me with bitcoin and with other circumstantial things in life, you have to know how to identify what is real and bitcoin is one of them. Thanks to our belief in bitcoin, it occupies the position number 9 in the world capital market.
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Past three months bitcoin journey on: October 07, 2021, 04:17:09 PM
Congratulations, OP!
This is a great idea of how we can invest bitcoin in small amounts that in the long term will represent the best choice. The advice is excellent to cut down on unnecessary expenses and instead invest for the future. I share the same idea because for two reasons in which I believe: First, bitcoin is the leader in the crypto market 42.7% while we buy more bitcoin we give it a boost and the market is bullish and the second reason my investment is totally to long term.
129  Economy / Economics / Re: How would the ecosystem change if the fees came back to the user after 1 year? on: October 02, 2021, 11:40:55 PM
Burned fees seem to be the solution. Maybe at some point we will see it more often. The only coin that I know does that to reduce fees is AVAX. A documentation can be taken a look here.

https://docs.avax.network/learn/platform-overview/transaction-fees

But if we talk about bitcoin, the lightning network has its very economical fees that is the best solution that I can observe for now for bitcoin users.
130  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [Plandemic Survey] I wonder how many of you have been vaccinated ? on: October 02, 2021, 11:23:40 PM
I have received my first dose of the Covid19 vaccine. The second dose I will receive next week.
My motivation is an obvious reason to prevent infection but even vaccinated I will be taking care of myself as if I were without the vaccine.
Covid19 taught us a lesson and it is time to make a change in our lives and love life with all its accessories so to speak.
We must be committed to taking care of everything that surrounds us, and improving as humans.
131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen to the bitcoin price if adoption increased on a larger scale? on: October 02, 2021, 10:44:43 PM
I think not much will happen. Apparently the price of bitcoin is maintained without much variation as if it were waiting for more adoptions around the globe to make the process easier because when the price of bitcoin falls more investors tend to buy.

I keep the happy idea that bitcoin has already exceeded the price of the basic Tesla model 3 and that it will do the same with the Long Range and the Performance model.

At this moment what is happening is that people are thinking about bitcoin and crypto to be included in the economies in the world, which is otherwise positive for everyone.
132  Economy / Economics / Re: When you sell is no longer "yours" on: October 02, 2021, 10:19:19 PM
When I sell I do it practically closing my eyes. As my investment plan is to own everything in bitcoin and crypto and that every time I need to pay my bills I sell only what I need, my bank account is again empty.

My case is particular because I live in a country with inflation and I protect myself that way. In relation to your experience that people sold and complained, in part it is because the city administrators had a duty to adapt better urban planning, it is sad that the central power still makes mistakes like this.
133  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation and protecting you wealth on: October 02, 2021, 09:57:48 PM
People must be educated that to protect themselves from inflation they must invest in bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Time is giving us the reason bitcoin is being accepted by more people, institutions and countries around the world.

I am proud to witness this moment and contribute a grain of sand to what we believe is a way out for the global economy and the inflation that affects societies.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "cash in, cash out" on: October 02, 2021, 08:57:51 PM
I can only comment on my own experience. Since I got involved with bitcoin, my way of thinking and seeing money was different. Bitcoin changed my lifestyle, I am not one of the ambitious people, I am one of the fair people.

I recently made some purchases to make repairs in my house, the owner of the store where I bought I could verify that she is one of those usurious merchants but due to the need to acquire my products I did not give it importance. I told myself that I will recover my loss at any time because I invest in bitcoin.
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 6000 coinbase clients hacked on: October 02, 2021, 08:38:32 PM
I am not a Coinbase user but I have seen some people in the United States on social media wondering where to invest safely.
According to the article that OP shared:
Quote
The hack took place between March and May 20 of this year, according to a copy of the letter posted on the website of California's Attorney General.
It is strange that this news has spread so far. We still need to improve security on these exchange sites that are necessary for users.
136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Gold: Superiority on: October 02, 2021, 08:14:44 PM
Bitcoin is a new technology even though it was created in 2009. We also have the new networks to be used in masses.
Those who prefer bitcoin are the new generations while those who invest in gold do so under the belief since when gold was chosen as a legal reserve.
However, those who invest in gold are also investing in bitcoin.
I prefer to invest in bitcoin for all the benefits that we know of.
So much so that I live in a state where gold is exploited in my country and, as I said, my preference is bitcoin.
137  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is There Problem In the Crypto-currency? on: October 01, 2021, 11:29:49 PM
Cryptocurrencies have no problem, we all benefit when the price goes up or down. I am sure that beginning investors learn a quick guide to investing.
That was the first method I used and I still put it into practice. Risk is always an element to take into account, do not invest what you are not willing to lose.
There are great testimonies that cryptocurrencies have done for people what in previous years they could not do.
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bangladesh may be approve bitcoin very soon according to ICT MINISTER on: October 01, 2021, 10:42:20 PM
I love this news because I know of some people who use crypto from this nation and that I have shared with them on social media.

Fortunately, Bangladesh has already been studying the points of view to accept bitcoin and with that to achieve the stage so that the inhabitants begin to be interested.

By accepting bitcoin they would take an important leap as other countries have dared to do. It is what the economy deserves and the use of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies will open opportunities for development.
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The risks of using Bitcoin on: October 01, 2021, 10:05:01 PM
The risk of money laundering is what makes me cringe at how damaging it can be.
I generally use CEX but it would be an unfortunate situation if someone uses one of these platforms with money to launder it.
I have not yet discovered cases that have occurred that give me a reference of how these actors can work. In each exchange I am always waiting to know who I am trading my bitcoin with.
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador 🇸🇻 Mines First Bitcoin With Volcanic Energy 🌋 on: October 01, 2021, 09:42:03 PM
I don't want to speculate. Did you already figure out the price of bitcoin? $ 48,381. Today the first day of October we are welcoming and receiving good news!
Traders on Binance are doing well, it is the most active bitcoin exchange.
I wish that Salvadorans can discover the good that comes to them despite the fact that there are people in that country against bitcoin.
