Bump.
[name removed] a.k.a. soniq, do you admit to stealing our money?
Edit: After 4 months of waiting, I received my hosting refund and a small payment.

Bump. Let us make his name appear in search engines next to "fraud". At least soniq will have difficulty finding a job (or getting a loan) for the next 10 years.
[name removed], give back the money you owe me! Hosting refund, BTC mined since last payout, NMC and share in the current value of the equipment.
Edit: After 4 months of waiting, I received my hosting refund and a small payment.

Some predict bitcoin's value will rise to 6 digits (or more). Then my 0.22 for hosting (when was it supposed to be paid? "tomorrow" 2 months ago?) and share of the sell income will be worth the effort. If anyone sues Larry before such time, I can testify.
We can also consider selling the debt Larry owes us. I hope some Canadian debt-collecting company can handle this.

Google'ing his name (see page 32) leads to a twitter account (bitcoin-related) with a photo. I also found a company owned by Larry S., advertised by "soniq" on another forum. There's a phone number. But I don't know if it is actually soniq.
Maybe JohnK can help? He verified soniq's ID.
Any GB members from Canada? Are there any means to locate a man knowing his (possible) name and city?
When we have his address, we can send a representative to ask soniq personally these questions:
-what happened to OUR dividends -what happened to OUR hosting refunds -what happened to OUR mined Namecoin -what happens next with OUR mining equipment -why are we being ignored

I have an idea.
Can we choose another GB administrator? Let's say for 10% fee - that should be an incentive to do the work (review the balances, take care of hosting, pay the dividends, possibly sell the HW), and members will still get more dividends than the current 0. Candidate's ID would have to be verified by a trusted third party. I suggest voting by e-mail so all members know what the majority's decision is.
Any volunteers?
Soniq, are you willing to accept another admin?
Soniq, have you lost your ability to type? I can see you have been logging in to the forum.

Will process hosting refund payment tomorrow at noon.
I haven't received anything. When is 'tomorrow at noon'?
|
|
|
- some people will have no payments this payout because of hosting refund issues, this will all be resolved in a separate spreadsheet and paid from the address the hosting payment was received at.
Soniq, when will this payment occur? Also, are you planning to get back to regular (weekly?) payments when the situation is cleared? Was there any discussion about selling the Jupiters I am not aware of? I'm not sure paying $15k is the best option. If you are looking for a buyer, why not look for a buyer in Sweden? Can you answer my questions? I haven't seen any new payout since January.

Great idea! I hope it works.
However, you should post the expected release date. Is it this week? This month? Sometime this year? "When it's done"?
Also, how much disk space do you expect to use? I would not give any coin more than 20GB of my precious HDD. Even bitcoin.
I don't think you can tune the delay to achieve two goals: make it impossible for botnet to exchange information (~4*transmit time) and make it possible for slow nodes to successfully transmit a block (sometimes 200ms to geographically near location is not that unusual). Maybe there is a solution: the operation required should consume CPU cycles and cannot be precomputed - e.g. take 1 second on an average (need to define "average") CPU (or maybe varying time?). The time to respond should be consistent with hashrate and network speed. Example: take fragments a, b, c, compute N*sha256 of them, some bits of this result point to fragments d,e,f, compute M*md5 of them, and so on.

And these keys were canceled after few hours (test payments was withdrawn).
I don't get it. Were these payments confirmed or unconfirmed? Can the dev (or anyone else) undo a confirmed transaction?

My trade with kaene was OK. Good contact and quick transfer. (transaction without escrow)

I tried mining using my 8GH Jalapeno. I mined 13 blocks so far, all of them worth exactly 0. I wasn't expecting high profit, I just wanted to help the network.
13 blocks? Thats 13 PMC fee from me. Have fun great idea! I did the same. Thanks! Donated to the faucet I'm getting some blocks with fees, up to 0.7 PMC per block. Come on, people! Set your ASICs to PMC!

Great idea, post your solved 0 block reward IDs and your address so we can donate. I tried mining using my 8GH Jalapeno. I mined 13 blocks so far, all of them worth exactly 0. I wasn't expecting high profit, I just wanted to help the network.
13 blocks? Thats 13 PMC fee from me. Have fun Thanks! I'll keep mining. Since bitcoin difficulty grows, my miner only earns ~2$ per day mining BTC. I can switch it to PMC for a few hours every day.

What is the problem? People hoarding and no transactions? Or users setting fees to 0? Or am I doing something wrong?
Here are the IDs of the found blocks 2418d8a76c897eb480a87083dbd65679620ef5e4951a91e615a882c635749946-000 525f43b2596fbacffc89dc2ff5d059eeec51bdd1ce0971b3b1afe85eb795eb22-000 8bbeba082d2246f00015b5d424c779047dae0e8df83e72a9efa5d3eb127f230f-000 2bb5f7a9c5f02eefd1e3d37fd6a96d3c05e194146d9078f827c1e06cc65f4c05-000 70d5afaf0de7a67463a852aed92e3115a84ad1007b9b2c91f0b5c3ba9d3d4c78-000 bf192e8b7f317cb716d13769cdb07b496c9a98877460ecf35423c37b96118471-000 45b00d4784f503ea4afeb5460af55b80abf78fa0ea1200dcbe47ca5666f04a19-000 ab4e0c7a4233eb124bbb1687ad51cbd08a0b8f96558aa029846c6fa1d08e3be8-000 2a67c0983842592351faf5bdfe69f6d8ab68b3c9a26811f4eba50f57d652abb6-000 5ff8720aa9b2e127682c65aa2b4ec009064c581652fa216682981078cd148195-000 4672e87325bf985848dc1365eb04537f14e3ebadc5828c1f1e37a474d6acee61-000 11fedfec61bc13f3dd69aff1586163044e95159e6b00f230bb410b396c00e162-000 2a6bfd90a5ff73cafce6cb99c515cb98274f2ba3ae2a78f0767ceefa49ae6c38-000

Concerning the price and concentration: there are a few owners who have millions and the rest who can mine hundreds PRT per day. Until the ownership spreads, I would not count on massive increase in price. Personally I would not invest much money in a coin with low trading volume and a risk of early adopters dumping all they have.
I am going to start selling at 500 and keep only 50% of what I have. For the good of the coin, so my remaining 50% is worth more:)
