1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [B3] B3Coin | POS/POD | Self Moderated Thread on: April 01, 2018, 05:32:22 AM
Is there any way to have an announcement function on the wallet? I don't normally check my wallets for weeks at a time, and don't check on the B3 forum for announcements for months. Guys like me will miss wallet updates and will be stuck on the wrong block chain and not know about it for months.

Why hasn't someone come up with a way to stop these ponzi schemes?  They damage the reputation of crypto.  With so many smart people in crypto, I would of thought it would be possible to stop obvious scams by now.  Maybe we need an anti scam coin, I would buy some of that  Smiley

Can't stop them because there's not much if any regulation going on with crypto, by design. Unless you want the government to step in and set up rules and regulations?

Only other way is for the individual consumer to put some work in research before investing in a coin. But that should be just common sense.

That being said, I'm glad I didn't invest in this coin, because I almost did.

Why in official twitter of b3 coin the image with words "r.i.p."
Do you think that ot helps in sales? To grow the price?
I think not. Maybe remove this image?

These mfers!
I just lost a ton . I have a ton of b3s and who are they to devalue it to 1000 k3s! This is not the correct evaluation.
If they were honest dev they would let the people who held b3 keep ot and have the same value as k3 to reward us for the confusion.
Who ever bought a large amount of b3s is going to lose 1000s!!

Im new to this community but if we have eachothers backs we must fight back and not just take this loss of our hard earned money!

You only lose if you sell cheap. Be patient and don't sell cheap. People who are impatient are the ones who usually end up losing a lot.

When will cease to trade coin B3? Its existence prevents free trade KB3

Actually KB3 is trading on Coinexchange right now at over 700 sats with a lot of buyers. The sell walls are still clogging up the B3 section at 1 sat.

Hi guys, if you are planning to stake your KB3 coins, I'm using stakeunited.

If you create an account there, please use my reference-link and you will help a fellow KB3 supporter Grin
You can directly send them from coinexchange. Only be aware you fill in the KB3 amount ( so divided by 1000), not the b3 amount. Through this way you do not need to run your PC/laptop, but they will run it on their servers for a small percentage of the gains. There not much going on atm, but if KB3 becomes big, hopefully combined we will have a big stake Smiley

THANKS. DESTINATION: MOON!!

https://stakeunited.com/cembo38

two people already staked! nice guys!
If the community is strong, the coin will go up in long term Smiley community is everything

https://stakeunited.com/cembo38
Community strong! The community believes in the coin B3! But! Developers pursue their goals! And not the fact that our goals are the same. Perhaps the developers are so greedy that they will not allow the coin to rise to make investors. Perhaps the developers are so greedy that they will absorb the funds of new investors at the bottom of the value of the coin. What is happening now.

thats its the sad truth and you are right 100 %

OK so that makes absolutely no sense. If the developers want to make as much money as they can, then the common sense thing to do is wait until the price goes up, not sell while it's cheap. Keeping the price low to make a profit is a moronic plan.

I didn't read the warnings about yobit und bought some b3 there...so price there is way too high? wrong blockchain? any advice?

I also bought B3 for Youbit before I read about the situation. What to do now? Who something can tell. You may want to sell all of their B3 on Youbit it is too late. But I want to be in the project B3coin. What to do...

You guys are going to have to sell all your B3 from Yobit, those coins are on the wrong block chain. Just sell, move your bitcoin to coinexchange, then buy B3 there instead.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [B3]B3Coin Hybrid POW/POS [Scrypt] - ANTI-INSTAMINE, NO PREMINE, NO ICO, NO IPO on: January 08, 2018, 08:26:59 AM
CMC is using the price from the exchange with the highest 24 hour volume. Just look at B3's markets tab on CMC's site. Right now Yobit has the highest trading volume because Coinexchange is still having issues, so you will see that the price displayed for CMC matches Yobit's. Also, Yobit's price is per KB3, that's why it is high. Coinexchange is still using per B3 pricing.

But it will definitely take a couple weeks before B3's price goes up. The problem is, there are so many billion coin wallets out there that just keeps dumping at the lowest price (the #1 wallet is probably the biggest culprit here). Those wallets are also probably staking, so they are replenishing their coin supplies at the same time. It will take a long while before those wallets get depleted enough for B3's price to recover.

Anyone else having syncing issues with the new wallet? I'm definitely using 3.1.1.2, but whatever I do, the block height on my wallet is always around 50 blocks behind what it should be. I have a total of 3 wallets, 2 of them are running just fine. I tried copying the blk0001.dat from my working wallets to the bad one, still the same results. I've tried a full resync by deleting everything except for my wallet.dat and config file. The hardware is identical to one of my other working wallets. I've heard that there is a fix for this particular issue, but so far I have not found anyone who knows how to fix this.

Hey guys, I have some coins on coinmarkets. I would like to move them out to the wallet. Is the wallet working, will I be able to do that? Also how many coins do you need to receive some good rewards ? Is over 10000 Kb3 or 10 000 000 b3 good?
I have moved my coins from CM to the latest wallet but staking does not work.

I finally got my staking wallet to work after weeks of not staking. I had to delete everything except for wallet.dat file and let it fully re-sync and make sure it matches the block height on blockchain explorer.

YES, I AGREE.

We would still have a STABLE coin, with market cap exceeding $50m, if the code was just left alone.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but looking at the recent transactions on Coinexchange, they seem to be priced at 1 sat per B3, not KB3. Coinmarketcap is calculating the market cap using KB3. Which means, in reality, the true marketcap is $107 million still. Correct?

But I think the more important number to be looking at is 24 hour volume. A coin can have a market cap of $20 billion, but if it has 0 volume, then that means nobody is interested in your coin.

Was this coin really ever over 2$? How? If that would happen again i'm golden.

It was probably a combination of pump and dump, and people buying in for the 10000% staking period.

Wallet Update

We have released a build update to the B3 wallet, it is now mandatory for everyone who is either on 3.0.0.4 or below, or is having problems sync’ing 3.1.1.1, to move to https://github.com/B3-Coin/B3-CoinV2/releases/tag/v3.1.1.2

Changelog:
v3.1.1.2

    DNS seeds have been updated
    Default maxconnections bumped to 70
    MAX_OUTBOUND_CONNECTIONS bumped to 16

Release Notes

We spun up new seed nodes to help with the connectivity issues.
Going forward, we hope that no edits in the b3coin.conf should be required, and any wallet will be able to find peers automatically.
In the meantime, we kindly ask you to remove any connect= and addnode= lines from your b3coin.conf and delete your peers.dat file to alleviate the load from the seed nodes, and to actually make your wallet able to connect to other peers through the DHT.

Instructions
Also found at: https://github.com/B3-Coin/B3-CoinV2/wiki/How-To:-Upgrade-your-B3-wallet

datadir location

•   Linux: ~/.B3-CoinV2/

0. Close your old wallet
1. Backup your wallet
Copy $datadir/wallet.dat to a safe location
2. Edit your b3coin.conf
Make sure that your $datadir/b3coin.conf has no connect= or addnode= lines on it
3. Delete old files
    Delete the $datadir/peers.dat file
[Optional] if you want to do a full resync, delete $datadir/database, $datadir/txleveldb, and $datadir/blk0001.dat as well
4. Launch your new wallet

For FN Owners
Please ensure you run fundamentalnode start to start your FN after wallet syncs

FAQ
Also found at: https://github.com/B3-Coin/B3-CoinV2/wiki/FAQ
Why does my wallet show "out of sync" when I have peers/connections?
The wallet when it loads always shows "out of sync". If there are no new blocks, then it will stay in this state regardless of number of connections until a new block is found. Check B3 Block Explorer to validate the next block and after you see it -- your wallet should go to sync. Link: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/b3/

Ok I might have an issue with my wallets.
I followed these instructions, but I didn't do a full resync. I just deleted my peers.dat files and removed all connect/addnodes entries in my .conf file. My wallets are synced, but comparing the block heights from my wallets to that on blockchain explorer, my wallets are lagging by about 200 blocks. I'm definitley running 3.1.1.2. I have 2 fundamental master nodes and 1 staking wallet, according to blockchain explorer my nodes received some payments this morning, but these are not showing up on my node wallets' list of transactions. Am I on the wrong fork or is blockchain explorer the one messed up?

> expire fundamental nodes because you messed up..

Expiring fundamental nodes also seems like they don't understand the most valuable part of what they created.  A massively distributed server system would cost a lot to purchase in the cloud.  And people are bought in since they had to burn coins.  Instead of expiring the FMNs they should make them do something useful, like running a decentralized exchange - which I thought is the whole purpose of this coin.

Yeah, with the rate of nodes going up they could have their own mini internet at this point. Don't they have like 1000 nodes or something or are pushing towards that and beyond DASH as a goal?

That's more nodes than exit nodes for the entire TOR network. At this point the network is more valuable than the currency.

Even if all of the nodes were crap 50 meg connections, times that by a grand and 50 gbps distributed global network rivals some smaller data centers. Something a project like LBRY would KILL to have. They aren't even close to having a backend that could compete.

I see around 760 nodes running most of the time.

show proof it isn't a scam to ppl ...

Claim scam -> Show proof

Any claim must be proven, to be taken seriously. Nobody can claim "this is true unless you prove it's not" and expect to be listened to seriously.

You can't claim "God is real", and say it's true unless proven otherwise. Because proving it's not true, is impossible.

If you give me "proof" clearly presented, I'll do my best to explain if and why they are not true.

Some of these people don't live in the U.S.. Here in the U.S., you are innocent until proven guilty.

So here is the recording of the Q and A with the team last night. It clarifies one or two issues regarding the reason for releasing FNs early and team consolidation etc. Also the mystery of the #1 wallet discussed... mystery no more.

Great. It answer many of our concern

Hopefully people actually watch this video. It's very informative, especially for the fudsters.

Yes bro i think b3 is now dead coin on coinexchange same like sic Sad

That's for sure  Smiley  just look at the chart

idiot that blue line is resetting. The market cap was set to zero until it updates. Currently we don't know what the MC is. God I hate idiots!!!

537306453043.70977783 B3 coins and market price is 1 satoshi.

So 537306453043.70977783*0.00000001 = 5373.06453044 BTC

5373.06453044 BTC = $51,261,480.36 USD market cap with zero liquidity.

I would imagine the #1 wallet is fairly upset and will sell most (if not all) of their coins.

They have about 1000 BTC at least worth of B3 at these levels lol...

I would imagine the #1 wallet owner has already probably made a ton of money from this coin, well over his initial investment and shouldn't be totally unhappy. Although he might just dump his coins out of spite for the devs.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [B3]B3Coin Hybrid POW/POS [Scrypt] - ANTI-INSTAMINE, NO PREMINE, NO ICO, NO IPO on: November 30, 2017, 06:26:14 PM
Use the Wallet.dat file on your desktop to run 3.0.0.2 or 3.0.0.3 ... Back up your wallet if you see a coin .... Update your wallet with a backup file Please try. And do not copy the Wallet.dat file. Please move them to your wallet folder.

Thank you it worked. i got my coins back partially. Im still missing my earned coins which i received today. I can see them on Total minted but the is no more transaction on 'Recent transactions'

On unconfirmed it says 0....

Please use the Core 3.0.0.4 you will get your funds back. You might be on wrong chain. If you need help you better of join in discord You will get help for sure.

Please download and run the latest B3 wallet version 3.0.0.4 ( https://github.com/B3-Coin/B3-CoinV2/releases  )
This updated fixed the slow network issues, the staking issues and the uneven FundamentalNode payout bug.
It's in your best interest to upgrade ASAP.

HOW TO:
1. Close your B3 wallet.
2. Download the lastest version 3.0.0.4 ( https://github.com/B3-Coin/B3-CoinV2/releases  )
3. Double click on the new download to run.

Please use the following bootstrap to ensure you get back onto the correct chain:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1bUIBE45UYT2SDpQhin6EcGmILMCwMNfa

Steps:

1. Close your wallet
2. Backup your b3coin.conf and wallet.dat files
3. Delete only the following from your current B3-CoinV2 directory: blk0001.dat, txleveldb, database (the last two are folders)
4. Unzip the Bootstrap78983.zip file
5. Copy and paste the files from the bootstrap into your B3-CoinV2 directory
6. Start your wallet (The wallet will remain out of sync until the next block is confirmed, this is normal, just let it sit)

I did that, it is not good enough. I ended up on the wrong chain, doing the above.

Then you have to download and snapshot https://github.com/B3-Coin/B3-CoinV2/releases/download/3.0.0.4/block79352.zip and replace the files in your Appdata.

It has become a full time job to keep your wallet updated. If you don't troll discord daily to stay updated, you will end up om some island on your own chain and own blockchain.

This has become fukken ridiculous. You supposed to receive coins and they don't come through, they just tell you 'O, you on the wrong chain"
That's happens with PoS consensus. Some big staking wallets are on off-chain thus propagating it to network. Right now wallets are jumping between two (possibly more) chains unable to decide which is a good one.
Yeah, that updating stuff is annoying, nothing to add.

People might get more coins on one of the older chains but it's not going to do them any good if the exchanges like Cryptopia come back online, they'll probably be on the most current wallet. And they shouldn't be able to bring over their coins to the new wallet either, since those transactions will get rejected by the new chain. At least that's how it should work, correct me if I'm wrong.

Did they turn off fundamental node payouts? I don't see the winner's list updating.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [B3]B3Coin Hybrid POW/POS [Scrypt] - ANTI-INSTAMINE, NO PREMINE, NO ICO, NO IPO on: November 29, 2017, 04:23:17 AM
After doing snapshot please match your height with block explorer.
And after matching it , please start staking, those who are running fundamental nodes, they will need to start that again, otherwise all the rewards will go to one fundamentalnode.

Please note that, some bugs are fixed and shorted out , but some still there,
one of them is GUI in qt only, when you hit a fundamentalnode payment  it will show you the full block reward of  transaction, which is wrong
you only got 60% of that.
This bug will be removed in gui update probably in this weekend .

I get blockchain error when I tried using the snapshot. However, before using the snapshot, the block height matched block explorer's block height. I don't need to use the snapshot in that case correct?

Also, I still have the nodes from 3.0.0.3 in my config for my fundamental node and staking wallet. I need to change those to the 3.0.0.4 nodes correct?
