1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] FortKnoxster - Telegram on steroids. Sale 19 FEB. EARLY REGISTRATION on: December 31, 2021, 05:41:22 PM

I’ve read the whitepaper, I think the product is great. A great product can still fail if you charge at a rate people won’t pay

This account was stolen from me. Do not trust this person!!

PM cyrus with the info. If you post the signed message here I can lock it but not restore access to you.

I can't post the message here because it has my e-mail in it and I can't sign a new one because I can't find the private key for that specific address.

Forwarding the singed message to you via PM.

Edit: PMed cyrus. I hope we can get it locked at least.
5  Other / Meta / Moebius327 account stolen on: January 26, 2018, 03:11:43 PM
My original account Moebius327 was stolen. I have sent a message to theymos on June 15, 2016 signing it with an address associated to my account but received no answer.

Now someone has taken possesion of my original account and is trying to scam people. I have also messaged everyone who gave me green trust to remove their rating from Moebius327.

Anything else I should do?

Wow the new roadmap is pretty impressive. Mining difficulty is skyrocketing! Online wallet is working as well (beta).
Soon to be listed on cryptopia! Great times ahead.

Ok guys CPU mining is still worth it. Here is an updated guide to mine bismuth on https://bismuth.acc-pool.pw

I recommend using google or digital ocean for CPU mining. You should get around 300k-500k h/s per Core. Price per core can vary between 0,01 cent and 0,029 cent/hour.

1. Fire up a CPU optimized droplet
2. Install ubuntu
3. Install dependencies

   * sudo apt-get install python-twisted
   * sudo apt-get install python-pip
   * sudo apt-get install python-pip --fix-missing
   * sudo apt-get install python-socks
   * sudo apt-get install unzip

4. Download miner zip file

wget "https://www.dropbox.com/s/reeg9btnylndwrj/MinerV3.zip?dl=0"

5. Unzip Miner file

   * unzip MinerV3.zip?dl=0

6. CD into miner file

   * cd MinerV3

7. Create text file to use for launching miner

   * touch startminer.bash

8. Edit startminer.bash for your address, worker name and threads

   * nano startminer.bash

startminer.bash default text example to put in startminer.bash file

./miner bismuthaddress rigname

Replace bismuthaddress with your address (see 11.)

9. chmod files to be executable

   * chmod +x startminer.bash
   * chmod +x miner

9 1/2.

   * tmux ( If not installed run * sudo apt-get install tmux )

Then run:

  ./startminer.bash

Then press ctr + b + d. You can then close the SSH session and the miner will keep running.

On reconnect to reopen to terminal window with the miner running use this command.

   * tmux attach

10. start miner using the startminer.bash file (If you used tmux for vps then no need to do this command again. Ignore 9 1/2 if installing to mine on a local machine)

   * ./startminer.bash

11. Link for node and wallet https://github.com/hclivess/Bismuth/releases/ or use the online wallet made by euroline https://biswallet.acc-pool.pw

The GPU  miner will be made public as soon as accumulation  is done. Beware of scam attempts. No one will sell you their miner. Also there is another source saying online wallet is coming. Cryptopia integrated bismuth successfully  and will list within a week. So good times.  Grin

I can confirm that gpu miner has been developed and is already running. Getting around 500 bismuth per day with 4x r9 290x gpu. I have been purchased it from a guy who are active in slack. I have a right to sell it (paying developers' commission for sure).  Pm me if you are interested.

Be very careful. This looks like a scam to me.

Interesting times ahead  Smiley

Finally. Many people are very eager to buy the coin and this gives a chance for GPU miners to dump their stash  Grin

my gpuminer only gives 10bis/day, not worth it.

(tomorrow will be a funny day, i guess)

How many GPU you have, also what Algo this coin is on, now where mentioned, also pool dont mention network hash and pool hash.
Not sure already mentioned in this thread but , dont see on this page  at least

@fonship the algorithm is SHA224 as stated in the specifications.

Is there a GPU miner already availabe to the public? Anyone can share the link? Also can I mine on the pool using windows OS, I didn't find any tutorial to do so, only for ubuntu and linux users.

If you take a look at the difficulty only explanation would be that only a few people have the advantage mining with a GPU the rest using CPU are biting the dust, my suggestion would be to wait for these few GPU miners to dump their coins and buy in cheap instead of wasting your time mining it with a CPU.

This does not make any sense. As soon as a GPU miner is released the coin difficulty and price will skyrocket. If there are indeed GPU miners they will not dump before releasing the miner and raising the difficulty first.

I am seeing every pool going up and down randomly, any stats for pool uptime? and which pool is most reliable and stable?

Acc-pool is pretty reliable lately.

Can anyone tell me since when is the mainnet live?

Mainnet is live from May 1, 2017. Did the payout of the acc-pool return to the normal? I know the payout was to low like a week ago and I stopped mining Bismuth.

the payout is low because the difficulty is now stable and higher than before.

With the new difficulty adjustment this is looking pretty nice.

I'm gonna have to give it a shot and I hope it's more CPU friendly, do you know how many blocks I'd expect with ryzen 5 1600x?

I am getting around 1,8 coins/core per day. Pool mining is the only option now.
