2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: holding is not an easy thing on: November 09, 2021, 06:50:21 AM
alot of people really want to hold but the daily needs of life make them sell off at little profit and solve their needs which is really good. but later they notice the coin they sold cheap is worth enough to liberate them. this kind of occurences are painful but its really not his fault. this brings me to the question of maybe holding is for the rich who can afford to buy and forget. ? lets discuss this, thank you.

Yeah... Emergency in most cases made people sell off their coins at a cheaper rate and live in regret when the coin moon.
This is common with bounty hunters who have little or no idea on long term investment couple with urgent financial needs.
So I can agree to an extent that the super rich have advantage in this scenario because they don't really care, they only buy and forget until the coin start appreciating.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Before getting into trading on: November 08, 2021, 09:02:49 AM
Is it really necessary to take a course before getting into trading?

Sure... That's the first step forward to a successful trading experience. Trading isn't as simple as it may appear, so the best thing is to seek and acquire knowledge. Any trading journey without prior knowledge is liable to fail.

Acquire the needed knowledge, practice on demo as much as possible to gain experience. When you're ready for the task,  no one will tell you but you will have the conviction yourself.
Trading is sweet when you get it right.

Wish you a happy trading experience

5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Risk in Crypto Assets Portfolio on: November 07, 2021, 06:56:12 AM
I have seen there whatever has a huge upside also has a huge downside. This is the case with crypto currency, including bitcoin.

Can we point out the risks that one faces in investing crypto assets based on these:

1. As a retail investor

2. As an asset manager (hedge fund business)

3. As a trader.

It's true that there's always a level of risk associated with investment in general. As per cryptocurrency, the high volatility makes it even more!

So as a retail investor, a trader or an asset manager, there's always an option to manage losses or gains. The stop loss and take profit button is very useful in this case.

Also,  knowledge is very important in doing anything. A knowledgeable person will definitely know how to cut loss and take more profit when compared to someone bent on making only money without the knowledge of what he's/she's doing.

In general, it is better to always invest what one can loss such that the effect will not be suicidal.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm sure altcoins will pump if we hold long on: November 07, 2021, 06:34:05 AM
Each holder will definitely have their own interests, but the true holder will definitely be stronger to plant crypto in a long time. So if we want to cuan, have to save coins for a long time. If you agree or disagree, please give me good feedback. thanks

I agree with you but not all coins will grow/pump. For a coin to grow over time depend on it's use case and how the team is able to manage the project. For instance, the team  can adopt an aggressive marketing strategy to drive awareness to the project, so when investors come and scrutinize the project,  they will see that such project is worth their investment.
For the use case,  I think it is of immense importance because the project will die a natural death if it solves no problem. Giving solutions to problems/challenges should be the basis for building a project.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETHEREUM: THE RAPID FLUCTUATIONS IN GAS FEES on: November 05, 2021, 08:43:48 PM
The ETH  blockchain is a crazy place to play now. So I initiated a transaction  about 6 hours ago, the transaction took  6 hours  before it finally got confirmation on the Ethereum blockchain network,  I nearly did the   cancel/replace option.  First and foremost, I did my checks on ethgasstation  and etherscan.io/gastracker before initiating  the whole transaction  and realised  the "cheapest" gas fees was 98 Gwei. So to be on the safer side, I decided  to use 100 Gwei (~$24) yet look at the stress I've been through  all day. ETH blockchain  is messed up now.  What happened  to ETH 2.0?.

Imagine  if the transaction  had failed after 24 hrs, I would have no choice but to cancel/replace the pending  transaction  with a higher gas fees. Clearly,  with a failed transaction, ~ $60 worth of ETH  would just go  waste🗑

The ethereum network is really making things look so difficult nowadays. I am also having similar situation.

I have a token which I intend to swap for ethereum and withdraw from my metamask but the transaction fee alone is bigger than the actual money that will be left after deduction.

Infact, I need help here.
I'm thinking of bridging the token to Bsc network and withdraw using Bsc network even though I would still pay bridging fee.

What do you think...would that be a better idea?
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Continuously Loosing money in Trading!!!! on: November 04, 2021, 03:37:24 PM
Hello everyone,

I am doing Trading since last 3 to 4 years And in this journey i have seen many updowns(profit and losses), But recently from few weeks i am loosing  my money continuously with the same strategy  i have been using since last 2 years. I don't know what happened to me. So please anyone can guide me through this situation, it will be very helpful for me.

Thank you.

That's pathetic but you can take a break. I guess you must be under pressure to recover your lost funds which is eventually leading to more loss.  Try and keep your emotions under check.

Never fight the market, if you notice a change in your trading journey, then take a break and go for more knowledge.
Remember, there's no champion in trading and again, past setups/strategies doesn't always guarantee you a win.

I wish you well.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I fail in trading on: November 03, 2021, 04:57:04 PM
I’m a newbie in trading. I want to improve my trading skills. I have heard some experienced trader said that I should learn and read more before start, and also get some experience. Trading requires a lot of patience and hard work, learn about the way to analyze the price chart, when they can be able to analyze price chart they will know the best time to buy and sell and know which one is the best coin to trade…
I tried one but I falied. There is something I don’t know? Please tell me more.

It's such a wise decision that you ask from experienced people.
When a trader fails to learn the basics of trading, failure is inevitable. Such traders are the ones terming trading as scam and gamble.

If you must succed in trading, you need to learn and practice a lot of things.
It's not usually easy from the beginning but if you persist, your hard work will surely pay at the end

Search for some useful tutorials on YouTube and practice on demo account.
Build self confidence, exercise patience while hunting good setups, always use good money management, have a good trading plan and be emotionally stable while trading. Honestly, you need to learn a lot.

I wish you good luck!

11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla and market manipulation crime on: May 03, 2021, 06:37:09 AM
What Tesla did with bitcoin could be considered market manipulation, and that's a serious crime considered by the US government. The fact that the company invested $1.5B and make it public that bring a lot of investors to bitcoin, and after that, we see how bitcoin has a crazy jump in the prize, and now they sold the 10% when bitcoin was on its ATH.

As a reference, I will leave this link: https://www.fbi.gov/scams-and-safety/common-scams-and-crimes/market-manipulation-pump-and-dump-fraud

So, the question is, did tesla make market manipulation and you think the company will be charged for it?

In my opinion, I think Tesla as an individual or a company has the right to do what others are also doing(buying and selling of bitcoin) as long as the law within his country permits.
One thing is obvious here, Tesla is a big name(my thought) thus his actions in the market is capable of causing some kind of excitement, that's why the price of bitcoin went up after his $1.5b investment.

Buying bitcoin means that he's in business, and doing business means that profit would be made. He can't keep holding his asset for ever, there will be need to sell his holdings at some point in time, that's what just happened.

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No good projects from a long time on: September 19, 2019, 10:13:49 AM
Would it be possible for the world to go out of ideas? That may sound unthinkable! Maybe, the market is over saturated at the moment and that 'game changer project' is just being delayed or still cooking.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many new traders are playing to lose on: September 14, 2019, 05:27:27 AM
Trading is more sophisticated than it seems to appear. Learning the basis is not even enough! Learn and practice then gather experience. Emotional balance is as important as any best strategy to think of. Trading requires lots of patience too.
Too many things to take care of before consistent profit can be achieved.
Newbies must learn over and over before trading if they want to profit.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why i prefer mining and investing in ICO/IEO on: September 13, 2019, 10:20:22 PM
You made your point and they're good but everyone can't be the same. One problems associated with mining has been the issue of high cost of acquiring mining equipments. I think the mining business has changed from what it used to be in the past when generic laptops and desktops were used to mine coins.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: your patience is being tested on: September 13, 2019, 10:13:44 PM
Trading teaches real life lessons and I have learned a lot from it. To stay calm when your patience get tested, you must have put in the necessary things that will guard and limit your loss in case you  are unable to survive the test.
Trading is good but caution is important!
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit my job to do full-time crypto-trading. Made 12 BTC profit last month on: September 13, 2019, 09:46:50 PM
Heard about how profitable trading is and with little/no knowledge of trading jumped into trading, only to come out with a blown account Cry
Any one aspiring to be profitable in trading must first learn and understand the basis of trading. Trading is profitable... Yes! But it is good to learn first.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When altcoin price increase on: September 13, 2019, 05:21:03 AM
Some people believe that the price of the market is been manipulated by few whales but that's up to those who subscribes to such school of thought. In reality, the price of bitcoin and Altcoin are supposed to operate independently, and such only happen based on demand and supply.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto really go to zero? on: September 13, 2019, 05:14:24 AM
I am also thinking, but if it does go to zero what will then happened to the tons of projects been rolled out on daily basis. Maybe, some projects coins may go to zero but not all.
Majority of the projects selling coins do believes that their coins will be used in their businesses which of course, is not intended to come to zero.
