What did the devs do with the 10 BTC donation?
The donation was used for listing on Exmo exchange. The best exchange so far for btcz. I was writing about value of btcz on reddit few days ago, got a lot of atention and we agreed on some targets... https://twitter.com/LesiBTCZ/status/101386094057035366510 btc for a no name exhange? I thought kucoin or binance was they way to go I also heard for Exmo first time in this thread. Checked now on coinmarketcap and Exmo is 45th on list of total daily trades. For example, Cryptopia (more famous, at least for me but not without problems in last year) is at 80th place. God, those exchanges are ripping big money just for listing :O

What's current block reward? Online calculators are showing 7.5 GBX but last four days I'm seeing 6 GBX in pools Edit: Checked GBX explorer - yes it is 6 GBX.

suprnova.cc 20000 virtual v0.3 miner --algo 144_5 --pers BgoldPoW --server btg.suprnova.cc --port 8866 --user user.user --pass x --pec --log 2 pause
I have tried to remove all the OC and it works stable for more than 15 hours, so I guess it was too much OC, but I do not think I had much OC.
Equihash 144,5 is demanding much more GPU memory than "old" equihash so mining it taxes more your gpu's and what was stable before, now maybe isn't. Maybe your mem was overclocked a little to high for "new" algo, so I would try with lower mem overclocks on your place.

no matter up or down on my clocks change the fact that my risers fluxing power. seems to be somewhat stable now. but it's still much wirery then before, and that causes concern as things flux, things fry easier, and i hate that.
Having same with my 1060's on 100% PL and no problems at all. On my 280x's and 290x's power draw fluctuates even more since day one and I never had any problems.

Edit: I found the option DEVICES. Again the miner gave 0 sols and restarted automatically endlessly, until I closed it, opened it again and began mining with 18-20 sols per card. This is for the rigs with regular 3GB Tahiti 280x That would be half of a GTX 1080 hashrate (according to what I read above) which is quite amazing for such old cards. Expected to be honest, as even on "old" equihash 200,9 they were giving 285-320 sols per card ... but using => 200W of power

Maybe because EWBF is still optimizing miner workload on VGA's (latest v0.3 increased performance upto 12%, previous v0.2 5%)?
|

Unfortunatelly no changes even with different drivers. Reported hash speeds are erratic, miner freezes on first two restarts (with a lot of disk swapping), and third time it starts to hash but shares are rejected (BTCZ, XSG). Waiting for more stable release(s) and kernels.

Ok, got it working but just after I renamed tahiti_144.bin into tahiti.bin.
Damn you are right ^^ Well you see some stuff written / released here with a hot needle. Well ... thats why its a preview ^^ Fiji speed avg. 14 S/s too slow. use little power, I think it user more power, speed is up. For NVIDIA algo 144,5 use more power is the same 200,9 wait tuning for AMD....GO GO GO I will start tuning for AMD asap - right now lets sort out the AMD driver troubles Glad to help in squeezing of bugs A little more info - R9 280x 3GB not overclocked (1000/1500MHz) with Crimson 15.12 drivers, Windows 2008 R2 x64 (or Win 7 x64 SP1 codebase, don't ask me why I run server version ), getting between 6-8 sol/s per card.

Does this miner support 1060 3GB with 192.7 algo? Under windows I get this error: GeForce GTX 1060 3GB, not enough memory, Available: 2605 MB, Required: 2979 MB It's a problem with windows 10 and its way of allocation of GPU RAM, even for cards which are not being used for display. Problem is known for long time to all renderers (now also to miners) and looks like Microsoft isn't giving a sh*t to solve it. So much of production use of Windows 10 Under Windows 7 each 1060 3GB gives 12 sol/s for 192.7 algo.

These are ASIC hardened modifications of equihash algo ...
For the love of crypto, please stop spreading such silly misinformation... Yes, I oversimplified, but changing N and K parameters of equihash algo increased RAM requirements with intention to prevent current gen of ASIC's. Right?

Interesting how quickly after fork profit came to almost identical levels as few days ago, even without ASIC's and AMD GPU's ASICs didn't always mine BitcoinZ. Also, with higher profitability, GPU mining farms like NiceHash switch to BitcoinZ. Considering there are no ASIC and no AMD than this still should be more profitable but it isnt:) Your claim is false. According to my calculations, my profitability is about twice as much as before the algo change. I have already mined (less than 18 hours since midnight - when I started calculating) a lot more coins than what I used to mine during the 24 hour period before the change. I get almost the same amount of coins as before the fork. I am happy with resoult because there will be less dumps after price increases. I just got 9250 coins over 24h period. My June average before the fork is 6000. So a bit over 50% increase. Well, your calculation explains it - we just have different perspectives of profitabillity TBH, up until this morning it was really above average, but in last 14 hours it settled on almost identical levels as before zhash fork. We'll see how it will came after AMD cards get on train ... Edit: Global hashrate is currently droping and profitability is on rise again ...

I'm not able to dig out with radeon cards I have tried R9 390 8GB I have tried 7950 3GB ------------------------------------ only gives errors Claymore's ZCash/BTG AMD GPU Miner v12.6 https://i.imgur.com/vE1FGp9.pngsuggest some ideas BTCZ switched algo few days ago (new algo is ZHash or Equihash 144_5), and currently there is no AMD miner for it. I switched my old AMD cards (2xx series) to ethash low DAG coins or other smaller equihash coins.
