301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 fastest crypto coins on: November 21, 2020, 11:49:20 PM
It is better to at least give a little bit of explanation before the lists to make more clear about what we are going to discuss. Like here, the title is about 5 fastest crypto coins, fastest in what, it is better to explain at first before going to each list.

Well, I think that some coins are also fast:
- XRP is also fast, but I don't know how fast it is compared to the five lists above. XRP processes more than 1,500 transactions /second.
- EOS (EOS) processes 3,000 transactions / second.

302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of Defi scams on: November 21, 2020, 11:38:33 PM
the list is very small in comparison of what is really happening in the crypto market,
Exactly, it is not easy to list all the Defi scams in reality. However, you should try to continue updating the list on the thread, so you can get many Defi scams there.
Moreover, we know that DeFi is booming right now. as usual, something hype and booming will invite many scammers to get involved, as was in ICO.  Grin
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Im planning to invest in Ethereum. Is this a good plan? on: November 20, 2020, 11:57:27 PM
Perfect, you choose the right one. Yes, Ethereum is the best option to choose besides Bitcoin. Ethereum is one of the favorite people to invest in. But I suggest don't buy it once it is pumped, just wait till there is a correction in ETH price. We are indeed going to the altcoin season, Ethereum should be increasing its price at that moment.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins will reach all time high on 2021 on: November 20, 2020, 11:52:27 PM
This time it was defi, but we haven't got any effective output till now. Ethereum 2.0 is expected for the pumping of altcoins, hope something big happens with altcoins as well.
What output do you expect? I think Defi already brings a big output. It is about another spirit of people to support the crypto world. Regarding ETH 2.0, let's wait for the impacts. It shouldn't bring impacts suddenly. It needs time to show people the difference between ETH 2.0 and the previous version. However, ETH 2.0 can rise people's interest in crypto anymore, especially in ETH.

305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie's guide to avoid ICO Scam on: November 20, 2020, 11:35:06 PM
Unrealistic goals
Whitepaper
Team
I think these are something fundamental to analyze once you want to review before joining a crypto project. But if you make it simpler, all of them are only about the whitepaper. Well, it is true that we need to analyze deeply the project through the whitepaper. If everything looks okay, then why not join? But if you find something strange or suspicious, kindly forget it. It's too risky.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum going to Die? on: November 20, 2020, 11:28:55 PM
ETH is second to BTC and it's dying isn't possible.
Dying is always possible, why not? But it seems not likely to happen now or in the near future because ETH is even getting strong. Ethereum is the king of altcoin and it really shows that it leads others to improve the values. However, I'm not against the fact that nothing lasts forever, including ETH.  Wink

ETH is currently waxing strong and I believe the high fees will gradually reduce as it's currently doing.
Will the fees be lower?
Honestly, I doubt it. If there is no certain way planned by Vitalik to reduce it, it won't be lower.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is There A point To still Hold Litecoin As An Investment? on: November 17, 2020, 10:59:13 PM
This is your first post and it is about Litecoin, you are not new in this crypto world probably.
Well, actually, Litecoin is one of the old cryptos that we can find since like BTC and also ETH coming in. This actually has a great community and the trading volume is still good, the liquidity is also the same. But probably it is not like other coins where they can have a great increase and positive uptrend right now. Litecoin may work and run slowly to the market.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will central banks create their own digital currencies? on: November 17, 2020, 10:50:12 PM
Central banks have really made really different decisions, going into the crypto world or the implementation and adoption of blockchain technology. This is likely that central banks will not be left behind in the matter of technology.
Actually, there are several CBDC issues by some banks in some countries. But of course, we may still not sure about how they will really give influence the crypto world. Whatever the condition, hopefully, the news will not influence negatively the crypto world.
309  Other / Archival / Re: 6 Most Popular Criticisms Of Bitcoin on: November 17, 2020, 10:44:02 PM
1. Bitcoin is too volatile to be a store of value.
4. Bitcoin is used for illicit activity.

This is what actually in my country. Moreover around 2017, the bad news about Bitcoin was very high moreover it was the booming and hype of BTC. Many people do not trust BTC. They said about the bad impacts of BTC, bad use by the criminals and many more negative issues. However now, it has been legal at least for the digital assets so the negative issue may be decreasing, but still there.
Additionally, many people hate Bitcoin because they have lost so much money in BTC and they blame BTC because of its volatility. Yeah, this is true. But this is a part of the risks. We should know before investing, it is volatile and from that volatility, e can make profits highly or lose highly. This will depend on our strtagey.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lebanon to launch digital currency in face of economic and financial turmoil on: November 16, 2020, 03:12:10 PM
Lebanon’s central bank plans to launch a new digital currency in 2021..
I read the article and it is only said about the digital currency, but it is not using Blockchain, right?
Or, I just misunderstood?
Well, actually, many countries are now implementing digital currency. And I don't know whether this will also succeed in that country. But let's expect the best for them.

I forgot about this, I read at the end of the article:
Quote
The growing confusion over Lebanese fiat triggered a wave of Bitcoin buying among locals, with peer-to-peer marketplaces like Localbitcoins seeing a sharp rise in activity.
Should we be happy over their condition?

311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs more women. on: November 16, 2020, 02:21:42 PM
What if I am a woman? Does it mean that I really make big support on it? Or how if here in this forum or in the crypto world, in fact, many percentages of them are actually women? But we cannot know who they are.
But well, does it really make sense or any influence about the gender of the user of BTC?
I don't have any issues in my country to work as we like as long as it is good.
312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPals Bitcoin is a scam on: November 16, 2020, 02:14:25 PM
.............
Are you sure describing this as a scam? Well, I think we need to have a similar perception and description of what meant by scam here.

I read this from PayPal
Quote
You currently are NOT able to send Crypto Assets to family or friends, use Crypto Assets to pay for goods or services, or withdraw Crypto Assets from your Cryptocurrencies Hub to an external cryptocurrency wallet. If you want to withdraw the value from your Cryptocurrencies Hub you will need to sell your Crypto Assets and withdraw the cash proceeds from their sale.
Taken from PayPal Cryptocurrency Terms and Conditions

It is written "currently"
Does it mean that someday it may change and will be changed? Expect they said: You never, it means forever.
This is still at the beginning of PayPal concerning crypto. SO, let them work and also develop. I believe that PayPal will always make certain evaluations and review about how it works and develop.

So, just too early to say that Bitcoin in PayPal is a scam.
313  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price to reach $17k? on: November 15, 2020, 11:28:58 PM
Bitcoin wanted to retest $ 17000 but was unable to, the last resistance was at $ 16400,
and now it's down at $ 15900, this is scary for bitcoin price movements going forward,
Why scary? Have we lost a chance to see $17,000? Not at all, the decline after a big move is normal. There is no problem with correction, I am pretty sure that the increase of Bitcoin price will continue. If you are afraid to lose a chance for profits, it means you don't have a brave mental of a Bitcoin holder. NOw it is the time to test us how brave to hold before the bullrun day.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bch fork on: November 15, 2020, 11:18:16 PM
Is the BCH fork really controversial, isn't it?
Now, Bitcoin has is split into two blockchains again, newly, and it is about the BCH ABC and also Bitcoin Cash Node?
But how is one of them cannot get enough hashpower, will this despair really?

Well, I'm waiting for how this will continue and end. Actually now, it is too early to judge what will happen to the fork. And in fact, the price decrease after the fork.
315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Low, Sell High on: November 15, 2020, 11:00:28 PM
As per CryptoWhale:

https://twitter.com/CryptoWhale/status/1327049480483508225

Really ironic and comedy to most, but this is the reality. At $3800, people are still not buying and looking for more dip, and majority are shouting that it is the end of bitcoin.

Fast track to November, the opportunity to scoop cheap bitcoin is no longer present, and yet everyone wanted to join the bandwagon and extremely bullish to even predict a six digits as the next all time high.
Does it mean all about how an individual did their own research? I ever heard that trading is not as simple as buying low sell high because if we only implement this without any further analysis, we may face a deep downtrend when market correction and also has issues or risks for cut loss.

But yeah, I bought a few BTC in March and still hold now, at that time, it is only about the belief that BTC can really increase again at least in 2021. And currently, BTC really gives a surprise to me.
316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could destroy economy on: November 15, 2020, 10:53:03 PM
You are not allowed to go outside in the country bringing lots of money. It should only be limited on the intention of your visit. This is why government had task authorities to manange some interviews before they will accept your application to travel outside the country.
I just found out if there is a rule like this and does it only apply to certain countries or all countries? Because celebrities or other travelers, politicians, and others when traveling also bring a lot of money and they certainly don't bring cash, right? So maybe this doesn't really matter. What matters is that they convert to the currency of their destination country.

This could be the reason why bitcoin is being ban in other countries because they are protecting their economy against bitcoin.
I don't think that this is one of the reasons for banning the crypto ad is it really BTC can destroy the economy? if it is about governance, yeah it may give influence. But if it is related to the self economy, I think that Bitcoin help us much more. I know many people around me and myself get better life condition after involved in Bitcoin and this crypto world. Moreover in this pandemic, crypto really brings fresh air for me because I am jobless
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust newbies that starts projects? on: November 14, 2020, 11:57:16 PM
The account rank of a bounty manager cannot guarantee the quality of the project. Even the bounty manager is a Hero or Legendary, there is always a chance that the project isn't a good one. The best way is to do the same way whether the bounty manager is a low rank or a high rank. We must check carefully the bounty or the project. Check the team profiles, their track record, the legality of the project, their listing plan, the sponsorships, social media, its community, and many other else.
318  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is the secret to success in trading? on: November 14, 2020, 11:50:03 PM
I don't think what you explained above is the secret thing to success but a common thing that people do in trading. If you want to succeed in trading, sure you need to do complex analysis, continue to learn, update information every time, use proper strategies, and do other serious efforts. It applies to all traders, not only the beginners or newcomers, even experienced traders must do all the efforts as well.
319  Economy / Speculation / Re: sold mine at 14100 dammitttt on: November 13, 2020, 11:58:44 PM
Please make it clear! Once you sold at 14100, you got profits or not? If you already got profits, why you seem very regret it? Greedy?
Mate, we won't be satisfied forever if we don't accept what we already got. As long as you don't get losses by selling your Bitcoin, you shouldn't regret it. If you want to get other profits, you can start again to buy BTC or other coins that seem likely to soar in the near future. But surely buying only based on deep research and realistic goal. Don't buy just because you are emotional/angry.  Grin
320  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin break its previous ATH record of 20K before end of 2020? on: November 13, 2020, 11:52:26 PM
Of course, Bitcoin price can pass the ATH and has new ATH but we cannot claim it now. The next price for Bitcoin is something unpredictable, let's just monitor and still plan a realistic goal. As the current price is still around $16K, why don't try to predict the price to go $17K first? It should be more sense than predict passing the ATH ($20K).

History always repeats itself but you never know when it does.

Can we trust this? Honestly, I doubt it. Not each history can repeat, you must think realistically than rely on something doubtful.
