This is absolutely true. It is very easy to run a wordlist attack on each wallet. They have of course done that on every one of these. The one they are selling have unbreakable passwords, and even if you have a GPU farm at your disposal it is very doubtful that there even is the advertised private key contained.

I still do not get the incentive for companies to use this altcoin instead of the more widespread bitcoin cash, which also hast almost instant transfer times. Bitcoin cash wallets are spread for more widely then lif will ever be, and since it will take a long time (propably never) to get as much hashing power, there does not seem to be a advantage for us. For you of course, since you can just shell out tokens and grab some quick money.

Beware to everyone who is using golix.com or was planning on.
I have (had) 0.2 cashcoins there, to be exchanged to bitcoins. They sometimes have great exchange rates there, but since there not located in the USA, therefor out of jurisdiction I only trust them with small amounts.
Starting in the morning, there was a banner explaining that there are no ways to cancel/place orders due to technical difficulties. But OF COURSE you can still deposit  .
Of course some markets do this, but when examining the blockchain, over 25 cashcoins where transfered to 1Cfeyw8cQUoRR1UGwKsxRzmX9P3hmkjUDH (a lot of money for this market). Also there a lot of pending transactions to/away from that wallet which indicates that there trying to move money fast, way faster then the normal transaction speed of the market.

I contacted the support team, yet no answer. I will update you with the news as I find them. Just keep away from that market for nox

Your assessment of the decentralized mining is completely wrong. While I agree that bitcoin classic is too centralized, especially in low-energy cost countries. Bitcoin cash strikes the best balance and another fork of the bitcoin chain should not be advices. Also we do need big miners behind the currency so non technology investors will participate.
