1  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 27, 2024, 01:01:44 PM
Been a while since BTC has been behaving like this. Congratulations to everyone who has survived another bear market, held strong, and stood by your convictions despite economists, politicians, noble prize winners, talking heads, hell even friends and family telling you you're an idiot, bitcoin is worthless, and you will soon lose everything.

Everyone will think you are lucky. But the fortitude to stay the course when all around you are talking shit and trying to make you doubt yourself is not easy to come by. This is my 3rd bear market, I know the pain. And soon I will sell a small portion, pay off my house and investment property, and enjoy the fruits of my convictions. To everyone else here, I salute you. If you have made it, well done. If you have yet to make it, I believe in you, like you believe in bitcoin. We saw the future before anyone else, we did the work to understand it when it was easier to be a hater, and now once again, we link arms like brothers and observe price discovery, like some of us have done many times before, and all of you will do again.

You know shit's happening when you check the board and there are 10 pages of new posts since you went to sleep, lol.

Almost 4 years since my last post on this forum.

I hope you have all been following my advice:

It's weird how complicated people like to make shit. People have been talking about Elliot waves and bitcoin since I started here in 2013. Buy now, sell now, definitely this is what the future holds. Sounds fucking stressful if you ask me. Plus a recipe to end up with 0 bitcoin. I'm sure there are people out there that have made a killing, survivorship bias and all that. Maybe even a couple know what the fuck they are talking about. Still stressful.

With btc the KISS principle has always worked out pretty fucking well, and will continue to do so as far as I can see.

Buy bitcoin. Only sell if you absolutely have to. Like a loved one needs a kidney, or the bank is coming to repossess your house or some shit. In bear markets don't look at the price. Sometimes for years. Chill the fuck out. Don't think you are smarter than you really are, sure as fuck don't think you are smarter than the chaos that is bitcoin price movements.

Buy bitcoin. Don't stress. Don't sell. Don't be greedystupid.

If every chart producing oracle that has come and gone from these pages had done that, there would be a lot more rich forum members. Your charts, models and fancy theories will send you broke. I'll still be here. Once I forgot my password for 3 years. Thank god for JohnTheRipper.

Buy bitcoin. Chill the fuck out.

3  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Titan Mint Coins- Serious Issue- ***NEW UPDATES*** on: November 01, 2022, 01:37:16 AM
where does the value of "millions" come from?

I know of maybe a dozen 2fa coins with issues - to be fair I dont know how many were made and still unredeemed as of current date.

Has anyone had any issues with the PK coins? Other than the ones who bought unfunded ones on eBay that is.

Perhaps it comes from all the time I’ve spent researching this whole mess. From all those who’ve been open about the 2FA coins, as well as those who own them and have been private about it (I’ve gotten plenty of messages from people who wanted to remain anonymous/private about everything). If you just read this thread you’ll find a lot more than just 12 2FA coins. I also said over a million for 2FA coins, not millions.  I said millions for the PK coins. All 2FA coins have issues too, not just some.

yea gotcha there - that was why I said wasnt sure how many were made and how many had been redeemed.

have there been any issues with the PK coins? other than people who bought unfunded ones? or never confirmed receipt and thus never had their coins funded?

I haven't been able to find any compromised PK coins, I looked pretty hard because I really didn't want to crack open and peel an MS70. The reasons I decided to:
- If Tim ever does really break bad, I would expect all the PK coins to swept at once, it would make no sense to sweep them one or two at a time, so you would have no warning
- The Titan's are now effectively worthless outside their peel value. Nobody is ever going to buy them funded, on here or anywhere else, or at least nobody with any knowledge of the space. So given I will never be able to sell mine, what is the point of keeping the BTC on the Titan? It's all risk, and no reward. Sucks, but it is what it is.

If Tim was a scammer, he would have kept private keys to the PK version, and swept them by now. The fact that that has no happened would make me believe "Never ascribe to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence". He fucked up the 2FA version. Corrupted, accidentally deleted, or something like that. The 2FA coins are gone, probably lost forever. I could be wrong, but I think its the most logical explanation. Having a DB be both secure, and redundant, is very fucking hard.

Peeled three 1BTC Silver Titans today. All PK versions. No problems sweeping, other than the fact Coinomi only seemed to be able to sweep the BTC and BCH, not the SV. I always liked the Titan coins, and kind of sucks because one was an MS70, but given this thread, and especially Tim's lack of communication, just not worth the risk
6  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Titan Mint Coins- Serious Issue- ***NEW UPDATES*** on: October 25, 2022, 11:32:04 AM
This thread is a shit show.

I haven't logged in for a while, but it's concerning enough that I will probably sweep mine tomorrow. But just to clarify, has there been a single confirmed instanced of PK coins being swept by Tim? I.e is there any evidence he kept copied of all the keys?

I have a couple, will attempt in the next few days and report back if I had any issues. What's currently the best wallet/software to sweep, and get all the fork coins etc?
7  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Where did all the OG collectors go? on: September 11, 2021, 02:14:38 PM
I know of a few. Mostly they have all the coins they want, they will NEVER sell them, and they have enough money now to do whatever the fuck they like. Blazed had what, like 40k coins at one point? He's a billionaire, doing billionaire things I imagine.
8  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Question] What's the forum record? on: September 06, 2021, 08:34:41 AM
Goat sold a 1000 BTC Casascius coin on here a few years back. I'm not sure where the thread went but I recall the trade details were partially disclosed.

Man whatever happened to Goat......he used to be everywhere way back when, I took a break for a few years after my account got hacked, and totally forgot about him. Retired on Yacht I hope.

EDIT: *Gulp* I just ran a search. Turns out he was a massive scammer, and scammed 1000's of BTC off people. Hopefully he had a actual boating accident in said yacht, and sank with it. Fucking hell. All these people needed to do was hodl from back then, and they would all be rich, instead so many of them went of the deep end. I guess early bitcoin adopters always were a weird bunch. But fuck, between him and Risto, two of the most prolific poster here I remember from way back in the day.....sad and shite. Fucking glad Bitcoin has come so far though, whole space is amazing compared to what we dared to dream way back then.
9  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Abortion should be banned. on: September 04, 2021, 01:45:19 AM
Instead of banning abortion, we should make vasectomies compulsory for all males at age 14. They are reversible, so once a man has proven he is responsible enough to have kids, and raise them, we should allow him to reverse it.

Not a bad idea to have a single thread that anyone can post their coins in...maybe price is they feel like it. Good to have all this info somewhere.

Didn't spook me, I was just limiting myself to 0.1BTC, hoping to get myself an outrageous bargain  Grin Wink Just over dammit! Congrats Ranger, 0.11 is still a massive steal, and I'm sure I'll be kicking myself for missing out in years to come!

Cheesy Thanks everyone! Sorry I didn't let either of you have it, I just really wanted it. Having the whole numbered set is extra cool. Now.....to grade, or not to grade?
16  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] Lealana Loaded silver set #35 with matching brass coin Rare on: May 05, 2021, 01:34:28 AM
