1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Ether vs erc-20/Ethereum Tokens on: December 16, 2017, 01:15:43 PM
Forgot to add: I guess that if ether price goes down it will also make all coins based on ETH go down too right? As i guess would be the same correlation as on the inquiry of my first message.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Buying Ether vs erc-20/Ethereum Tokens on: December 16, 2017, 09:35:39 AM
Hi there,
I was wondering if, exists some kind of correlation between Ether and all the other icos/coins based/used on Ethereum.
Like, from a point of view of an investor, isn't more valuable to buy Ethereum directly than, for example, Golem ?

Because, the way I see it is that all stuff based on Ethereum, even if has value on it's own, it should boost indirectly Ethereum itself due to use their network, servers, etc
Am I wrong?

regards

Awaiting your messages guys!
After some more analysis i think eth should probably be in higer % than others, due to its potential probably, but not sure on which percentage would be good tho.

Hi there guys! First of all, excuse me for any english typo / bad syntax on this topic, English is not my main language.
I recently discovered cryptos world and joined few weeks ago.
After spend a lot of time reading in forum about trading vs hodl, wallets, how bitcoin and altcoins tech works, etc i think i found my desirable go-to path:

My idea will be to become a hodler guy, which will invest now an small initial amount, and add more funds whenever my economy allows it.
To reach that goal, i bought a trezor wallet (current model I, not the incoming one) as for me looks the best relation between security/easy to use.

Now comes the tricky part: Trezor wallet is limited on the amount of supported coins.
Yes, i could buy other coins and keep on their original wallet, or keep it on exchange (no way, readed what happened to Mt. Gox), but i really want to keep it on cold storage in a secure hardware wallet.

So, I would like if you guys, way more experienced than me, could help me to build my long-term portfolio, one that i could put cryptos in and just 'sleep' for years without me needing to do any action (i guess like the first bitcoin hodlers did).

Disclaimer: I KNOW is impossible to predict the future, and anything can happen, it could be all a bubble, etc however disregarding this i would like to hear your honest opinion so i can pray for best of the luck with my goal. Thanks in advance btw!

-------------- If you skipped ^ / you read until here, please help me on here:

Your Portfolio recommendation for a long term hodl only with those cryptos:
