Bayern is a good move for Sane if it definitely comes off. He needs regular football after being out for so long, it’s probably good for him to be in his home country, I suppose playing in Germany gives him a better chance to get in the national team too.
Yes, going back to his country will surely boost his chances of getting to the national team, plus, it bayern, it makes it more easier for him to make it. He was so hurt having to miss out in the last world Cup, am sure he would take the chance to go back home with both hands. Good deal for all parties.

Bayern must be joking to think they can sign Leroy from City for just 40 million euros. Manchester City bought Sane from Schalke for 37 million pounds and the player has improved so much since his arrival at the Etihad, he should by now have doubled up in price on what city got him for. If Bayern Munich are really interested in the deal, then they must start making reasonable bids that's close to what city's asking price is, or else sane could just end up staying in City.
Leroy Sané only has about one year left of his contract. In addition to that, he was injured for several month now. I am pretty sure he will move to Bayern for a reasonable price and that's not the €80-100m Manchester City was asking a few month ago (before his injury and before the Covid-19 pandemic). The transfer fee will be more like €45m-60m, which is fair I guess. It even looks like City is only asking for €50m, if you trust this German Kicker article: Bayern and Leroy Sané have agreed personal terms over a 5-year contract. The remaining detail is to agree a fee with Man City. Both club are just €10m apart when it comes to reaching a deal. Bayern are offering €40m while City demands €50m [Kicker] Source: https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1260673901513883649 I do agree with you. Plus, Sane doesn't look very keen on staying at Etihad anymore, bayern are a very persuasive club, they almost took Hudson from Chelsea not so long ago, so, if Same hands in a reques, considering that he may never get back in terms with Pep, City would be better off taking the money. Win/win for everyone.
