761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies to Bitcoin can be dangerous! on: July 21, 2018, 11:32:03 PM
I have run into several Bitcoin "newbies" over the last couple of months, that are spreading the wrong information on forums and/or in person. Their intentions is good, but the results is bad, because they did not do proper research.

Some of these people are selling themselves as experts, because they have been in the scene for a few months. I have been in the scene for years and I still know very little about EVERY aspect of this technology.

I think you should rather admit it, when you do not know something about the technology, than selling your little knowledge as facts. I will regularly tell people that I am not clued up with every aspect of this technology, but I always try to do proper research, when I encounter something that I am not 100% clued up on.

~ Ask, if you not sure.
~ Do not lie, if you are unsure.
~ Do proper research, before you educate other people.
~ Accept that you will not know it all.
~ Fact check what you already know.
~ Do not argue, if you not sure about your facts.

Let's agree that we all learn something new about this great technology almost every day, so only a small amount of us are experts.  Wink

Yes that's right. Everyone of us passes to as newbie because we can't jump to a higher level  not passing as a little one. That's why as a newbie just do a research first and make sure that is true and reliable before spreading to others. As a newbie educate first yourself before others.
762  Economy / Speculation / Re: The rise of bitcoin continues on: July 19, 2018, 11:17:17 PM
For some weeks now I don't hear people say bitcoin is dead any longer. I don't understand why this has stopped all of a sudden. Where are those who announced the death of our mother coin? Don't you think it is time for these same people to  announce the resurrection of bitcoin  Smiley. That is the power of bitcoin, it always keeps it doubter's mute.

You know why  others are quite now saying that bitcoin is dead or bitcoin die because they saw now that the price movement of bitcoin increasing. The don't believe that bitcoin will rise after falling many times.  I believe is the starting point of bitcoin to give us more profit and become more valuable coin before end of this year 2018.
763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Rating of bounty managers on: July 16, 2018, 11:30:40 PM
Is there any rating of bounty managers available? That could be a great resource to see who is most experienced and best.

I think we could see the bounty manager who is the best and well experienced through their rank position and if they have a lot of positive trust ratings. And also we can see the good manager if they manage the campaign properly and become active to the project they manage through bounty campaigns.
764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin Die because of global Regulations? on: July 14, 2018, 10:34:05 PM
Of course not instead it will help the people not to fear and doubt in investing and using bitcoin. It will help to increase the demand of bitcoin because a lot of people has  strong guide that bitcoin is great investment and can change our life for a better living. It will help for everyone to have work with out fear because there is a regulation to follow. Just my opinion.
765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodlers will not change the world on: July 14, 2018, 10:30:00 PM
I think you had a point,if a lot of people keep on holding their is a possibility that crypto will die that,s why we need to do something to make a crypto market balance. But i also think that people holding their coins because of possible losses due to the market situation. Maybe there is another way we can do to help market rise with or with out holding our coins.
766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you know that 25% of all Bitcoins are lost? on: July 13, 2018, 11:39:08 PM
According to Jameson Lopp, a former BitGo and current CasaHODL engineer over 4 million Bitcoins (over 25% of current circulation) are lost.

Source: https://coincodex.com/article/2018/jameson-lopp-estimates-4-million-bitcoin-are-lost-forever/

I think it is difficult to believe this. How can you calculate the amount of lost bitcoin which a lot of the people are the owner of it? I those bitcoin are just hold by the people and hide it for a long period of time.
767  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My small advice about crypto market on: July 12, 2018, 10:01:19 PM
Many people are still hesitant between trade and hold. In my opinion, Investment is different from speculation is that you spend time and knowledge for it. When you trust and understand, you will not be afraid of the volatility of the market. It's an investor or a HOLDER. It's very good, but I think you get to know the market, trade, the cycle of market so you can be an investor, a smart holder.
"Don’t be a blind bull. ALL markets are cyclical. Don’t be afraid of pullbacks or market crashes – that’s where you can make the most money"

Knowledge and patience is very important in being a holder or trader of cryptocurrency. You are right to your words that you need to trust and understand crypto,so you will not be afraid it's volatility and if the time crashes many times. You need to be aware and always ready for whatever may happen to the market.
768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm just thinking about to give away to my 4-year-old nephew a 0.01 BTC on: July 12, 2018, 09:44:16 PM
You have a generous heart. That is one of a good deeds that a better person like you can do for his nephew. And since your nephew is too young to understand the bitcoin much better to keep it safe and back up it for security until your nephew was in a right age to use and understand bitcoin.
769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More Regulations For Cryptocurrency? on: July 11, 2018, 10:24:04 PM
Hello, would love to get your opinion on this topic. Do you think there would be more regulations regarding cryptocurrency by the Government? Both now and the future? Let’s say bitcoin price rises to $100,000 per bitcoin, Do you think the government would actually let it be and function on its own without constant regulations? Well, personally I think we would see more regulations from the government down the line to a 1 Trillion Dollars total market cap and above. But I’m positive such regulations won’t hamper on the further growth and advancement of cryptocurrency. So tell me, what do you think?

I think sooner or later government can regulate cryptocurrency for a reason that they can hold bitcoiner, put taxes and rules to follow speacially if crypto will continue to develop and become accepted anywhere in the world. But it is all depend on us if we accept those regulation or not. I believe while cryptocurrency continue to spread and become broad there are also a lot of changes may happen because i know government will not stop finding a way to regulate it.
770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real life usage of bitcoin on: July 10, 2018, 11:59:57 PM
Real life usage of bitcoin is depends on the total acceptance of the community in one country. But bitcoin is just an investment that everyone can use to have a better living. Maybe someday we will see a lot of stores are accepting bitcoin as patments but it will takes too long.
771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN is FUTURE !!! on: July 09, 2018, 10:45:16 PM
If we think our current generation which everyone use an advance technology computer related with access in internet and bitcoin is a digital currency that can only use online, i can say that bitcoin is a future. Investment and earnings through bitcoin will be more develop together with the technology in the future. And i believe that the demand of bitcoin will continue to increase more yearly.
772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Property? What might be the best investment? on: July 09, 2018, 08:18:43 AM
Nowadays, being practical is the best strategy for me. Just buy a small house and lot then the rest is investing in bitcoin to gain more profit before investing again some real estate property. Bitcoin is the best investment at this moment. You can earn bigger in just a short of time.
773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: will other coin beat btc in future ??? on: July 08, 2018, 10:26:16 PM
as we are seeing other coin such as litecoin ,monera, etherium , are faster in transaction than btc

No,such kind of coins will not and never beat bitcoin even in the future. Just look at the difference between that coins and bitcoins market cap, demand and value, they are very far from bitcoin. No one can tell now what will be bitcoin in the future but if you already know what kind of coin is bitcoin you can say now that no other coins can beat bitcoin. It is still the king of all crypto in the future.
774  Economy / Economics / Re: Is wallet security important to use? on: July 07, 2018, 03:19:44 PM
Yes wallet security like 2fa authentication is important to use for additional safety of your bitcoins store in your wallet. Also always keep your password and private key secured and avoid to tell it to others. Avoid to click phishing sites to avoid hackers.
775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 52 Times Bitcoin Died 2010 - 2018 (infographic) on: July 05, 2018, 10:54:36 PM
yes bitcoin is dead and therefore I advise you to invest in new crypto projects like Socratus

How did you say that bitcoin is dead? There are still a lot of demand and there is still a circulating supply in the market. And even it will not become zero in value because after it falls many times bitcoin always rise.
776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mining is costly... on: July 05, 2018, 10:49:28 PM
One thing to say mining bitcoin consumes a large amount of electricity and it would take lots of equipment to manned the mining. There should be a development in making the cost of bitcoin lower; given that lower mining cost could yield a higher profit. However, it matters on trading and exchanges.

I think mining is quite profitable but depends on your location. If your ares is cold then it is better because mining consumes a lot of electricity and if you mine in a place where the heat temperature is too high i think it you will not earn because mining tools are expensive and then the electricity consumption. I think much better to do trading if you have enough knowledge and experience about it i am sure you will earn and can manage to avoid loses.
777  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Dead? on: July 04, 2018, 11:34:04 PM
Bitcoin prices have been in a free fall and dropped to a low of $5,860 a week ago.

It meant it dipped below $6k for the very first time since October 2017. Cumulatively, BTC has lost 70% of its value in 2018 and the peak of $20k on December 17 is just but a stat now.

No,bitcoin is not dead. You will see that there is still a demand and supply in the market and the still moving. I think bitcoin is just on downtrend now but it will recover soon. We are just at the middle of this year, many things and changes may still happen in cryptocurrency on the way to the end of this year.
778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto VS national currency on: July 02, 2018, 11:13:20 PM
I found this expression on the news channel about the crypto currency: "Anyone who will try  to buy coffee for cash in 2023, runs the risk of causing laughter from the seller, that he does not use crypto currency."
how do you think, is it realistic? Can a crypto currency replace national  money?
I think that it's possible, but it will take more time.

No,bitcoin will not be able to replace national currency because national currency was issued by the government while bitcoin  or crypto is a digital currency. They are different types of currency with different uses. Digital can't use as fiat money or national currency because it is always needs access to internet everytime you make a transaction and not all the people all over the work know how to use it even a small gadget and those who are old enough they don't know how to use digital currency. They just familiar with fiat money and not digital. Aside from that not all countries accept cryptocurrency that's why it is impossible to happen that one day crypto or bitcoin will replace our national currency.
779  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people are still buying BTC? on: June 30, 2018, 11:38:16 PM
Because people know and already learn about bitcoin and they believe that it has a good future. That's why they grab this great opportunity to buy more while price is cheaper and affordable and they will invest it for the future to gain more profit. Always remember the more investment, the bigger the profit. Much better to invest now than to regret someday.
780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My country banned bitcoin. What I can do ? on: June 30, 2018, 11:29:01 PM
I love bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. I feel more comfortable doing so and will do whatever that I can to support it. Now tell me how can I work with Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies? Although it is illegal in my country.

My country Bangladesh.

Apologies if this is not the right place to discuss.
Thanks in advance.

You have nothing to do about that if government in your country already banned bitcoin. Your option is to stop doing cryptocurrency to avoid punishment by the law from your government or just leave your country and go to other country where bitcoin and cryptocurrency is not prohibited.
