I hope you read the sticky post on what to do with "stuck" transactions: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1802212.0

You've caught the free accelerators at a bad time. Viabtc is always clogged up and even confirmtx.com has stopped its free service (but at $4 I suppose it's still a fair deal considering the bloat).

Anyway, transaction accelerated. Learn your lesson and spread the love.

I did, but I can't access "viabtc", the website does not work on my computer. Why is it a bad time, if you don't mind me asking? Is there something going on?

Thank you so much, you are a lifesaver! I really, really, really appreciate it. I was not aware about the issues related to Blockchain's wallets and will definitely change it to something else. Any personal recommendations?

Have a nice day

Thanks for your reply! Blockchain's wallet.

Blockchain.info has a reputation for having issues.

I had no idea. Is there another wallet you could recommend?

btw can I somehow cancel the transactions then?

While it is not possible to literally cancel a bitcoin transaction, you could import the private keys into another wallet program and create a replacement transaction that spends the same inputs and pays a higher fee.  If/when the replacement transaction gets confirmed, the previous transactions will become invalid and will be dropped by all nodes on the network.

Is this hard to do? And how do I do this?

How long will I have to wait for the transactions to confirm?

That's impossible to predict.  You could get lucky and have your transactions confirmed in the next block, or you could end up waiting many days.

Is there any time-limits?

No.

Hi,

So, four days ago I made a transaction, but it still appear as "pending".

https://blockchain.info/sv/tx/d6e3e107fb3bee82801342cc31f9109c3e124f2b9ccd9af469c740569aa6d27e

What wallet did you use to create that transaction?  Your wallet did not add a large enough transaction fee for fast confirmation.

That transaction pays a transaction fee of only 0.00000005 BTC per byte.  This site: https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/  recommends a fee of at least 0.00000950 BTC per byte for fast confirmation. As such, you will be waiting a VERY long time for that transaction to confirm (if it ever does).

I tried, and made, another one a couple of hours ago - same issue. Is there anything I can do to adress this issue? And why am I having this problem?

What wallet did you use to create that transaction?  It is slightly better, but the wallet still did not add a large enough transaction fee for fast confirmation.
That transaction pays a transaction fee of only 0.00000005 BTC per byte. 0.00000100 BTC per byte.

Thanks for your reply! Blockchain's wallet.

Ok, well that is odd. I used the suggested transaction fee from Blockchain (never had this issue before though) for both of the transactions. But has noticed that something's up with their fees lately?
