Hi - Hamish from BitPay here, looking to contribute some enhancements to the https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Identity_protocol_v1 page.  Can someone whitelist 'heisler3030', please?

Done.

Still trying to get whitelisted.

I should not have to send Bitcoins to a group that has mismanaged donations in the past and are involved in promoting BFL.  Please whitelist my username so I can make the corrections.

I have whitelisted you. I'm unaware of the two issues that you mentioned and presume that they happened when the wiki was under previous ownership.

It should explain to you that you need to pass the antispam test at https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Special:CryptoPayment

Alternatively, post your username here and someone can whitelist you manually.

Where should I send the 0.001BTC?
Quote
you will need to send a payment of at least 0.001 BTC to [bitcoin: ]

and my username is Icy

Whitelisted.

Was this ever changed?

Couldn't there at least be a pointer from wiki.bitcoin.org to en.bitcoin.it/wiki?

Who is the current operator of the wiki, ie. the admin who can do administrative changes and decisions?

Yes. It is now operated by myself, theymos, nanotube and Luke-Jr.
9  Other / Bitcoin Wiki / Re: Enable user javascript? on: June 22, 2014, 08:35:24 AM
Hey guys - I'm a relatively new editor to the wiki, and would like to work with appropriately tagging images with their appropriate licensing.

By the looks of it, custom user javascript isn't enabled (eg. I can't run https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/User:SuperHamster/vector.js). Any chance we could get it enabled? The custom script I'd run lets me quickly tag images with appropriate licensing. Thanks!

I don't see why not, will talk to the others about it and then maybe get it enabled Smiley

I know exactly who you meant it for. Anyway, people should stay away from this unless they want to lose their keys they buy.
12  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] MICROSOFT MAK & RETAIL Keys for BTC [LEGIT] on: May 03, 2014, 03:37:09 PM
Ok for anyone wondering, these keys are coming from a DreamSpark account, and it's against MS's ToS to sell them, so they'll eventually get deactivated and you'll be out of a key.

They don't come from the Dreamspark account. Dreamspark doesn't give VLK keys. And you are absolutely wrong. And I sell Office for MAC keys too, do they come from Dreamspark.

This proves that "HALF KNOWLEDGE IS DANGEROUS."

Oh, are you lying now?

There are 4000+ accounts in front of me waiting to be verified, so more staff sounds like a good idea Cheesy

Does one need a verified account to be able to deposit fiat or just to withdraw?

I'm not verified and I've withdrawn, I think it's just >$10k/month you have to be verified.
