61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TOP ICOs with a well working product on: November 27, 2017, 06:01:14 PM
Hi guys,

Let's make a list of ongoing and upcoming ICOs with a well working product Smiley
Here are already projects (first six) that I discovered during the last months.
What would you say about these projects and what projects are missing in this list?

1.   Dether https://dether.io/ (ICO upcoming, date will be announced soon)
2.   Crowdholding https://www.crowdholding.com/ (ICO ongoing, end date not defined)
3.   E-Chat https://ico.echat.io/ (ICO ongoing, until December 15)
4.   GUTS Tickets https://guts.tickets/ (ICO ongoing, until November 29)
5.   Refereum https://refereum.com/ (ICO upcoming, start December 12)
6.   IndaHash https://indahash.com/ (ICO upcoming, start November 29)
7.   Fluz Fluz https://ico.fluzfluz.com/ (ICO upcoming, start January 18)
8.

p.s. I will update this list as far as your proposals (if it correspond) and also as the ICOs completes;

I don't know whether I'm too serious, but to me nothing seems good ICOs (or rather I would all seems to me as scams).
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin cash 2000$ after new year or before? on: November 24, 2017, 09:22:03 AM
now it is almost 1700$. I think you will see sometimes it is passing 2000$ (perhaps even higher), but I won't say it has any ability to overtake bitcoin. but since it has a huge mining support from one group of people, it is much easier to be manipulated, so if your whole idea to gain profits when it goes up, there is nothing wrong holding it. I just bought when it was less than $1200, now almost $1700, but not selling yet. Perhaps wait until it reaches $3000, although I would think it would be better off having that money in bitcoin, we cannot be so sure anything in crypto.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100K in 5 alt coins on: November 17, 2017, 05:41:44 AM
there is always a option to put that kind of money into some crypto funds as some of the recently established DAAs by Iconomi or tokens as Taas. Some of them make a nice ROI, and the risk is minimalised by diverse portfolio structure.

are they reliable? and can we take our money whenever we want? do we have private keys? I have heard about bitconnect, but my feeling is it is a scam, so I was interested. thank you.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100K in 5 alt coins on: November 17, 2017, 04:45:57 AM
I will recommend you pick good projects with less than $30 million marketcap that can easily do 3x to 5x when there is hype around it. But make sure at least 20% of your investment is in Bitcoin

no offence, but everyone (almost) keeping saying so, but the problem is, it is very tough to judge which ones have good future. That's partly because there are more than 1000+ coins now, and also because it is quite tough to judge based on their website or whitepaper. But, I agree with your idea that, at least some part of your investment goes into bitcoin because if everything else is lost, you still have something to recover. My advice would be put 10-20% into ETH (and/or LTC) as well.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100K in 5 alt coins on: November 17, 2017, 04:36:59 AM
Maybe I shouldn't suggest any because I'm still learning, but if I'm asked to select 5 altcoins, they will be (without any order), 1. ETH, 2. NEO, 3. LTC, 4. IOTA and 5. Steem. But if what you all invest is 100k, I wouldn't recommend to keep all into altcoins, maybe 50% or at least 30-40% put into bitcoin. Having said that anyway, my advise is, not to trust anyone or any cryptocurrency blindly, do your own research and understand well before you put your hard earned money into them.

All for the long term -

1. BTC - 40K
2. ETH - 30K
3. LTC - 10K
4. XMR - 10K
5. NEO - 10K

That's a very decent list, and BTC is very likely (500% increase), but I wouldn't agree ETH going to 30k (10000% increase), LTC to 10k (15000%), XMR (8000% increase) or NEO (30000% increase), but I hope they do !
67  Economy / Speculation / Re: How high will it go? on: November 17, 2017, 03:22:41 AM
So as we all know bitcoin is hitting an all time high. But More thinking how high will this go before it takes a crash?

I'm thinking it may get to 9k - 10k and then drop right down to 7k afterwards.

Your thoughts?

My gut feeling says it will hit almost 9k, and then will have a pull back up to 7.5-8k, but in cryptocurrency, we cannot be so sure.
68  Economy / Speculation / Re: How high will it go? on: November 17, 2017, 03:15:23 AM
When it rises high like this very rapidly there is always a crash that is bound to happen.
Because with over $1000 ($6750-$8000) in the past 48 hours is not healthy growth to any financial market.
Even in crypto. Lips sealed

but that's only around 15% gains in 2 days, this is not quite strange in cryptocurrency, but yes there is always (almost) correction after a massive hit, but 15% increase doesn't seem a massive hit. If BTC goes to 9-10k, very likely a correction may occur.
69  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mark Yusko is confident that bitcoin will reach value of 400K (link) on: November 15, 2017, 04:46:29 AM
It is too high, but predictions like this get people's attention, so the price goes up, which is good for many of us. I would think BTC may reach $10,000 by the end of this year or early next year, which would get huge media attention if not already had. $10,000 milestone may convince many people to invest in it, but bitcoin also needs to solve many issues it has, and then with many use applications coming, probably $50,000 won't be too long (maybe in 3-4 years).
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nearly a third of people think bitcoin will collapse in the next six months on: November 14, 2017, 03:04:59 PM
I think while many people may just heard about bitcoin, it is not yet very clear to general public how to invest in bitcoin, not because the process is vulnerable to hacking, but also due to very unclear information on buying, trading and storing them. However, with recent media coverage, more and more people will get into it, and we may see many real applications, then the fear around it will reduce and more and more people will get into it.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it OK to Send BTC Now? (confirmation problem?) on: November 13, 2017, 01:10:29 PM
I think it depends on some factors we are not well aware. A transaction in bitflyer was confirmed in less than 1 hour, while one in coincheck is not yet confirmed even after 5-6 hours, but if you delay sending BTC, it will take more time to confirm, I guess.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are some Bitcoiners get hacked? on: November 13, 2017, 12:45:12 PM
Although cryptocurrency seems to be 6-7 years old, the mass adoption (maybe we cannot say so yet), seems to start from middle of this year, thus many people still are not aware about its technologies. Because of lack of clarity regarding cryptocurrency (including buying, trading, storing, etc.), they are vulnerable to hackers. The best idea would to be store your bitcoin (or altcoins) in a cold storage (e.g., Ledger Nano S), but if you haven't bought one yet, then you can use desktop wallets. The least safe option should be online exchanges. If you have no other options than exchanges, then try to select the best exchanges, and also keep in 3-4 exchanges rather than all bitcoin in one exchange, such that even if one exchange is hacked, you don't loose all bitcoin. Also, keep reading and learning, so you will know the best ways to protect your bitcoin.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100K in 5 alt coins on: November 13, 2017, 10:47:25 AM
I'm still learning the art of cryptocurrency technology and its trading, so up to now, my suggestion would be NEO and Steem. But please note that there is no guarantee that these altcoins go up. The progress of them would be influenced by some aspects, e.g., if China reduces regulations on cryptocurrency, there is a higher chance NEO may go up, probably more than 10x. Always do your own research before you invest your hard earned money.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it time to sell BTC for BCH ? on: November 13, 2017, 10:37:22 AM
I didn't have any BCH, so this does teach me it's always better to have a few top coins, but more than it, now I'm wondering whether BCH is really dead now, or there may be some pumping again, for an example when (if) bitcoin comes with hard fork again as it is a possibility. Now it's not worth buying BCH though. If it comes down to $600-800, that could be a buying opportunity though.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SAFEST ALTCOINS TO INVEST IN? on: November 13, 2017, 10:28:25 AM
If you are simply looking for the safest investment in cryptocurrency, then I would say bitcoin is the best, but if that's simply an altcoin, then it should be ETH. These won't give you the highest gains though, but looks the safest.
