1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Steemit and STEEM are not Dead on: March 07, 2021, 03:19:24 AM
Yes, there was a funny story with the seizure of the network and the removal of witnesses from power

It wasn't a funny story.. It was 3 chinese exchanges embezzling and powering up custodial stake to "51%" the network and take control over it.
They then proceeded to facilitate the theft of millions of USD worth of Steem... Even from some accounts that were dormant.

Fuck what steem became. fuck sun yuchen and fuck anyone who supports steem after their "owner" turned into a common thief.

If you want an ACTUALLY decentralized social media blockchain that isn't run by a shifty as fuck CCP bellboy check out HIVE on PeakD.com
(note that your Steem keys will work on HIVE for the most part. Stop supporting thieving cowards and migrate your blogging to HIVE!)
2  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Gigabet stole my coin for complaining in chat on: March 06, 2021, 08:03:56 AM
Yes my account had been temporarily banned. After I contacted thru email customer support. They made me prove username last withdrawal txID last deposit txID then they gave me a code to get in my account.  Where I saw that all of my 17.2 horizen had been transferred to dogecoin then Bitcoin and then withdrawn from my account.

Today I realised my account had been hacked again and my username will not longer work again or my password I can go to the website and click there forgot password button I made a new password use it with my email and then it says username or password isn't correct. I had 2fa and new passwords.

So the email support replied back didn't even ask for proof who I am. Unlike last time. unlocked my 2fa and gave me a code to get in. Wouldn't supply me with any information on how somebody was able to do that again with 2fa and new passwords.

Sounds like you have a keylogger on your system or an email you use is compromised.. :/
3  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Gigabet stole my coin for complaining in chat on: March 05, 2021, 07:31:07 PM
Thanks for the response I'm not sure on how to do that is the problem if you have anywhere I could read about how to do that ddos I would greatly appreciate it.

It's super illegal to do in most countries to be honest as it disrupts internet traffic and often requires usage of hardware that the DDOS'er doesn't own. (botnets)

But if you're hell bent on wrecking their day and want to do some research into the technology behind pulling off such a thing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mirai_(malware) is an ok place to start.

I do NOT condone you, nor anyone else DDOS'ing other peoples web servers as you could face jail time if caught... But I'm also not going to leave you high and dry when you nicely asked for more info.

Be safe, be smart. Good luck captain!
4  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Unnamed.exchange - do we have another exit scam? on: March 05, 2021, 06:54:42 PM
Not really, if it looks like that, you just don't know enough details Smiley

Tillkoeln's sockpuppet? Just a random shill?
None of the above.

Feel free to lookup all my previous scams, but you will find none.
I live in that bubble where its possible to earn money without fucking people over.

BigVern didn't scam anyone until he did, same goes for most scam exchanges. Come to think of it, your choice to impersonate a known scam exchange and run it in the circa-2014 fuck-the-customer style is probably not a coincidence. It's a good IQ test.

Nice. Bigups to Till for posting his processors that happen to have a few still extremely rare 0days baked into them.. XD

Come on. You know it's running on some shitty VM somewhere.

yeah no shit on the VM eh. lmfao.

Probably paying out the nose for it to on digital ocean or some shit too. XD

Currently, you guys are spending more time arguing, threatening and offending users than working on the problem.

Proper reaction would be:
1. Attach huge announcement on the issue across all the possible channels, including exchange.

2. Apologize for delays and ensure that funds are safu instead calling your users useless newbies. Its not user problem that you cant handle both users and exchange.

3. Close withdrawals and deposits for all the coins affected instead letting people to continue do withdrawals and deposits knowing that they wont pass. For which they will, understandably, open tickets and make you mad because "they open multiple tickets". Boo-fuckin-hoo. Can you understand why they do that? It's their damn money, its normal to panic in such situations. Especially when the exchange is as silent as yours.

4. Work, work, work, work.

So please, don't sell me shit in what you believe. You and especially admin isn't showing it. Actions, not words.

That would require some degree of competence I think... bahahahaha
5  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Gigabet stole my coin for complaining in chat on: March 05, 2021, 06:06:26 PM
Sounds like you got fucked..

Gotta be a bit more forward thinking than to shit talk  service when you have money still tied up in it sadly.
Thanks for the heads up though on behalf of the whole community. Not sure who owns gigabet or whatever but you can likely get your coin back if you either pressure them legally or knock their site offline until they return your stuff.
I'm not condoning or encouraging that you DDOS the bastards... But if you did it would be warranted imo.

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a world power? on: March 05, 2021, 05:37:39 PM
in Middle Ages no money they use gold coin, silver coin. you think about it day by day we are very firstly and digital. we know many people say bitcoin is a digital money. i agree with you we can,t walk  with one millions  dollar in our pocket .very risky for everyone.but in bitcoin wallet we will carry it very easy and secure.hope after 5-10 year bitcoin will world power.

You could have a Credit Card in your pocket with access to way more than a million bucks man...

9  Economy / Services / Re: Forrest Visions can build your DeFi project, PM Today! 2021🎉 on: March 05, 2021, 05:07:34 PM
Where is your github? I'd like to see if you're actually writing contracts or just being a copy and paste script kiddie and claiming to be able to create contracts rather than just grab open sourced shit and rebrand it...

I find it quite odd that you're offering developing of contracts but have no link to a portfolio or personal / business github account..

EDIT: Found portfolio.. No github links or proof you actually made anything in the portfolio though.. Also your website needs some serious TLC to not look like a 5 minute wordpress pop up scam site.

Please provide a link to your github and proof you've worked on the projects on your portfolio please.
If not for my sake than for your own to make your services more marketable to people who actually know crypto beyond what bloomberg told them yesterday.

Also your business partners listed on the site seem like just a random pick of shit people might know, with zero evidence proving actual partnership or prior work history.
10  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [[Failed] Donate] Building rice farms in the Philippines Funding goal 0.2 BTC on: March 05, 2021, 04:57:40 PM
Looks like there is a shitload of bush adjacent to the land that could be cleared for way less than 0.2 BTC that could be converted into a rice patty.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi project, the easiest scam gateway on: March 05, 2021, 04:55:37 PM
Whatever happens to any DeFi project the code is to be blame, this is why DeFi projects are highly risky than any other projects in crypto space, if failure comes it's the code, if hacks happens it's the code to be blamed, this is just the way it is, so tell me why won't devs rug pulled themselves? There will be no one to be blame anyways

A majority of these "DEFI" projects are just shitty age old HYIP scams just modernized to take advantage of not having to run the garbage on your own servers.

Tons of these contracts have "emergency withdrawal" to deployer/owner address backdoored into them allowing the owner to steal all funds whenever..
Ultimately if you don't audit the code you're sending your money to, then its a reference back to a fool and his money are easily parted or something.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: DAG failure on: March 05, 2021, 04:52:46 PM
You overclock the memory clock too much  Angry, careful mate you can end up killing that memory, anything over 2150 Mclock on a rx580 is overkill for the GPU memory, restart your miner if its still the same you will need to restart your PC and go to lower Mclock

many of my gpus have more than 2150 mem clock for over 3 years and they running.

Ultimately depends if you have decent samsung or shitty hyinx memory in the card.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ways to make card last longer on: March 05, 2021, 04:50:34 PM
Undervolt the cards and don't run them above 70c for long durations.

also it looks like you've got some sort of MSI or other terribly heat piped card..

Make sure you have airflow over those cards... Them heatsinks are dinky af for mining with. :/

I know for a fact that customer complaints and fudding are 2 different things.

Your posts above indicate otherwise. And who the fuck are you anyway? TillKoeln's sockpuppet? Just a random shill?

I wonder which of the countless shitty DEFI HYIP horse shit contracts this got forked from originally..
16  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed - www.housecoinex.com on: March 05, 2021, 04:42:25 PM
What? Some random "girl" on Tinder introduced you into some investment scheme and you just believed everything without first doing some digging for information?

Well, It looks like the €7,000 was tuition fee for you to learn that there are so many cryptocurrency scams around and you should always carry out due diligence before sending out your money.

If you wanted to "invest" why didn't you just buy Bitcoin? Its price has more than doubled in the past few months, You should be having more than €20,000 worth of BTC by now. Clean and smart money, safe in your Bitcoin address.

Lol'd at the tuition fee joke. Well played sir
17  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed - www.housecoinex.com on: March 05, 2021, 04:41:11 PM
When a honeypot approaches you telling you that they've got an investment opportunity for you.. Run the fuck away as fast as you can.

People messaging you out of the blue on discord or wherever do NOT have your best intentions in mind. They are solely acting for their own personal gain.
Sorry you got fucked captain.. But even the way you did your write up about the lead up to anyone in the space any amount of time would have raised red flags on that shit.

whole situation stinks.. PLease do your research next time before getting suckered into something like this.. Trade on established exchanges and for the love of god avoid the DEFI HYIP bullshit hype.
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trading from Scratch on: March 05, 2021, 04:36:29 PM
-snip-
of course it is good to know technical analysis even to make hodl, but day trade is very risky if you are not very experienced
Technical analysis is a basic lesson that must be mastered to become a trader who is able to make profits from any price differences. In addition, good psychology will determine how strong you are able to overcome when the price is outside of predictions and what decisions need to be taken. Holding also requires a strategy and target that must be achieved.
for day trading it is more risky, but it will provide daily profits if you are able to analyze every movement well. it takes a lot of flying hours to master daily trading and it takes a large enough fund to get big profits too.

Technical analysis is still like trying to drive a car on a highway using only the rear view mirror.. Although an interesting hobby at the end of the day technical analysis isn't much more advanced than reading tea leaves or chicken bones to see the future...

What size memory is the card.

As far as I know the 4GB cards are useless for ETH mining now.

Pro-tip:

Do your own research and don't chase projects that have already set sail.
