Hello Zadicar, I don't think this is a ponzi schemed dapp. Since this's a lottery ticket basically, we have to gather ethers for reward pool. All game participants will participate in the game knowing that their purchase amount is used as part of the reward. I think this is not a ponzi but a gamble. And we must have a systematic way to prevent our card's value from plunging after the lottery draw. This is the reason for reusing the card. |

ERC721 are unique tokens on the Ethereum blockchain while ERC 20 is the class of the identical tokens. Its a bit complicated topic but here I don't get how this lottery system is related to ERC721 ? If you have a certain combination of cards, and you are lucky enough (if the winning cards match your own cards), you'll get the rewards from the rewards pool. Since this card is ERC721 collectible, it is not destroyed nor functionally limited after winner selection event. you can use it again and again. |

Care to explain the whole concept. So, people buy lottery cards, which is like a collection of paintings, which doesn't expire. So as more and more players are there, the prizes gets lesser. And, 50% of the proceeds from the sales will go to the price pool, which will be divided among players who won the lottery? I am confused.  We have made a lot of effort to balance between the functions of collectibles and lotteries. Traditionally, lottery tickets should be operated once, but in order not to lose value as a collectible, the this lottery card should not be limited to one time. So we draw two cards each time we draw. One is drawn from all cards issued so far, and the other is designed to be drawn from recently issued cards. Old cards will be required to win 1st place. Players who owns both two winner cards will be first winner. and players who owns just one out of 2 winner cards will be second winner. |

I like it that instead of some abstract animation or half-naked females you have artwork of various famous people! It's cool when people can learn while playing, and these cards will at least do the job of familiarising gamblers with art.
I get it that your lottery works on a smart contract and thus requires Metamask, but I think it would be better if at least people could access the website without turning it on.
You might also consider hiring someone who speaks proper English to proofread your Whitepaper. It has many mistakes.
I'm also wondering what is the status of the cards people buy with ethereum. Are they functioning like a token inside of the game? Can people, say, exchange cards for ethereum somewhere?

Hello Okala! This is a new lottery game and our lottery ticket is ERC721 crypto collectible such as cryptokitties. If any player owns this card, he will qualified to join our game. Every 10 days, we select winners who owns winner cards, and reward them using ethereum reward pool that is accumulated by 50% of total sales amounts. I have posted here because I think our ecosystem is like a gambling. If lots of people here think that this is not acceptable on this place, I'll move this thread somewhere else. ETHER-ARTS CARDS
The Ether-arts is a collectible art card with a built-in lottery ticket function. The Smart contract accumulates 50% of total card sales to create a pool of rewards, and choose two new winner card types every 10 days. If there are lots of winners, they share the reward pool using predefined rules. If there's no winner, the reward pool is accumulated into the next lottery's reward. The prize reward is paid as a form of ethereum, and all cards are totally reusable. Both winning and losing cards are never discarded nor functionally limited.
All card types can be published up to maximum supply of pre-determined quantity by color attribute. Therefore, if you have a more rare type of card, you will receive a larger winning reward because there will be fewer winners.
Ether-arts card complies with the ERC721 standard on ethereum, so it can be transferred / sold between users. We already integrated user-to-user market inside our website. If certain card type is sold out, user-to-user market mode is enabled. Card owner can suggest bid price at the [MY COLLECTION] menu.
ARTS
Famous artists' loved paintings, paintings by contemporary artists, and paintings created by AI technology are used as card artworks. For contracted artists, 10% of the total sales will be automatically paid to the copyright holder. If you are an artist having great artworks, feel free to contact us. MARKET

ROLL
If you feel that the price on the MARKET menu is expensive, I would like to ask you to consider the ROLL game. There is a great chance to obtain ether-arts cards at 50% discounted price. If you bet 50% of regular price of card, you will have chance to get a card at a probability of 50%. A random number determines the winner. Our contracts are designed to receive random numbers through trusty provider : Wolfram Alpha. Also our roll engine is written in ethereum smart contract, which is transparent, fair and provable. We can guarantee that 50% out of all cases, players win. The participants have to know that it also means that on the other 50% cases, they will lose their chances and game fees.
SPECIAL CARDS
If you already have several Ether-arts cards, you can get a new card without additional purchases. When you choose a "SPECIAL CARD" in the market, there comes a description about what kind of ingredient cards are needed to get this special one. If you own all those ingredient cards, you can get that special card by clicking "CLAIM" button on the market. Please calm down since every cards used for claim new special cards will not be removed nor functionally limited. Every special card has its own maximum supply like any other regular cards, and could be winner cards. Also, all ingredient cards used to claim special card cannot be used for claiming another special card. Except that, basically all the function of card is unlimited.
WINNER SELECTION
The seed is fed from a secure source outside the block chain to produce a reliable random number. After receiving random seeds from Wolfram Alpha, smart contract uses them to create random numbers and select the winner card. This random number is more transparent and secure than any other dapp use cases.
BOUNTY PROGRAMS
From now on, we will launch various bounty programs for users who can help improve the service of Ether-arts.io. The bounty program will continue to run after the launch of the service, and will provide appropriate compensation by objectively assessing the contribution. Compensation is an ether-arts card of various price ranges.
1. OPEN BETA TESTING BOUNTY (CLOSED)
During open beta testing period (~5 APR, 2019), bounty cards are paid to people who find logical bugs on the website and github contract. In addition, players who got the 1st prize rewards during beta testing will also be given real ether-arts cards that works in mainnet. During the open beta period, a lottery will be held at 3pm GMT every day so as to determine winners, and after the winner selection, 2~3 new cards will be added to the marketplace. These cards on the markets(Rinkeby network) are just for testing, but rewarded bounty cards are the real ones which works on mainnet.
Available card colors for bounty reward are OLIVE (0.4 ETH), ORANGE (0.6 ETH), RED (1.2 ETH), GRAY (2.0 ETH) BLUE (3.0 ETH), BROWN (5 ETH).
2. YOUTUBE REVIEW
If you publish an introducing video review on youtube that explains Ether-Arts services and our whitepapers, you're qualified to get bounty cards. Also, you will get additional points If your youtube review contains mission winner's case.
Available card colors for bounty reward are RED (1.2 ETH), GRAY (2.0 ETH) BLUE (3.0 ETH), BROWN (5 ETH). Team will choose reward card types for each bounty participant according to quality of their works, degree of attraction on the contents, the actual number of readers, and the response of readers.
Every 25th day in month, the list of bounty hunters to be rewarded will be published on our announcement channel on instagram. Anyone who wants to participates in bounty campaign have to send an email to admin@ether-arts.io with a link of their work before every 20th day in month.
3.CRYPTOCURRENCY NEWS SITE ARTICLES (CLOSED)
Cards among Brown (5 ETH), WINE (7.5 ETH), INDIGO (10.0 ETH) will be issued.
The reward card color is selected based on the fidelity of the contents, the reputation of the site, the number of readers, and the actual influence of the site. Articles have to be last at least 2 months, and have its own URL so as to utilize its link. Please contact us using this email (admin@ether-arts.io) if you are a reporter or an administrator of cryptocurrency news site.
4. TRANSLATION OF WHITEPAPER (CLOSED)
We need English (proof of initial whitepaper) / Chinese / Spanish / Japanese / Indian / Korean / German / French / Russian version of whitepapers. If there is anyone who can handle more than one of these languages perfectly, please let us know by email(admin@ether-arts.io).
We have assigned these color card rewards for this translation rewards : ORANGE (0.6 ETH), RED (1.2 ETH) and GRAY (2.0 ETH) cards. Our marketing team will select reward card types according to accuracy of translation result. Please note that using google translator is strictly not allowed.
Participants need to consult with the operator in advance to avoid duplicate translations (admin@ether-arts.io) and we could request submitting past translation works of the applicants.
5. PROMOTING ETHER-ARTS.IO TO CRYPTO COMMUNITIES
Post your/others' ether-arts reviews to the cryptocurrency communities around the world. We pay the bounty hunters the appropriate compensation based on the total cumulative view count of the posts. (Minimum cumulative view count : 300+)
Participants on community promotion can obtain these color cards : GREEN (0.25 ETH), OLIVE (0.4 ETH), ORANGE (0.6 ETH), RED (1.2 ETH), GRAY (2.0 ETH). Links to your promotion posts should be emailed to this address(support@ether-arts.io) before every 20th day in month. At the moments of our view counts confirmation, only articles that's not removed is valid. Note that we can filter out unfaithful posts.
