yeah, if you want to build a big farm like the Genesis farm, with a lot of capital. I know for atm, build one RIG not cheap, maybe have another way like buy part by part from hardware. for a problem income whether profit or loss, it depends on from the management miners on his income.I have 5 Rig and the mining profit enough big in my country. and I still worked like usually.

in the process, mining can't the instant ROI. the miners must have the patience like what you say. the patience, needed when at this time, for new miner because they looking the increased price of device such (GPUs) and currently, coin prices current decrease. and the business any, the patience very need.

like us who initially can't walk even run, because of the patience of a mother or babysitter, in teaching us to walk or run.until we can that do it.

because of your device slows but sure, become broken. the mining process produces heat and whether the cellphone has a fan to remove the heat?. batteries drain faster, most important your device has a bit Hashrate and must competitive the GPU miner or ASIC miner.
I suggest if you want still try mining, sell your cell phone and get some GPUs or join to Cloudmining but be careful.

Almost all my RIG is AMD card. From R9 290 and X series, 390 and X series, RX4xx and 5xx series. Especially RX580, currently used in the Ethash algorithm and still profit after calculating electricity bill.

Cost of the electricity every country is different. Maybe some miner still profitable. And also determine, on your hashrate have. For mining using HDD, you can try a Burstcoin. You must have the big space your HDD because that coin determined how big is your HDD size.

Yes, it would work but you get PSUs 80+ gold/platinum, 1080'tis has TDP 250W. I suggest you buying PSU have 1000W or 1200W and RAM 4GB is enough

I have a different series in every my own rig, but I always put them like this, "red on red, green on green". So sorry I didn't have much experience to combine Red and Green. If "red on red, green on green" scheme didn't give you any problems, why not.

I'm still doing solo mining till now, the first thing we need to do is calculating. A few variable needed for profitability calculation except you just solo mining and keep a coin for a few month or years waiting coin price rising. I always look at some coin technical info websites or coins ANN in this forum. This is a few thing that I see as a variable for calculating.

Net Hashrate (Global Hashrate)
This is so important, it can give us estimate how much blocks that we can solve with our Hashrate.

Block Time
Correlated to point one, we can calculate estimations how many blocks per hour that can we solve. Also, check block explorer from those coins to see how accurate this block time info.

Block Reward
With this info, we can calculate how much coin that we can get in an hour or day.

Coin Price
After point one, two and three, we could get an estimate how much profit that we can get with solo mining those coins.

With RX 400/500 series 8Gb, I can mine ETH with 30-31, it means 120-124 with 4 cards, especially with Claymore 11. Since this is your first rig, I appreciate your achievement. Hail Miner!

1. The original bios on your card or you download the same type bios from somewhere?.
2. Check Memory error using HWinfo.
3 . Check your PSU Power. After checking your PSU power and you feel enough, try to underclock from default bios stock setting. If still get an incorect share, it may Memory on your card has been broken.

If have 1 or 2 RIG doesn't too complex when RIG has a problem but when have more from 10 RIG, obviously it takes more time for controling that. You must check every cable of PSUs, USB Riser, calculate a coin which profitable except if using NH,that's doesn't need.
