I'm trying to figure it out. Are you still mining? What's going on with all that power generation... How is your project currently going?
I am still (solo) mining, hence the Avalon Q purchase which will bring me to several thousand times the hashrate I pledged when starting this project. Hopefully we get lucky and mine a block soon. Power generation I funded by selling my personal assets will be enough to supply the Avalon Q with self generated alternative energy and I am still using the donated pedal bike to generate additional power manually as well as the donated battery backup to supply alternative energy after the sun goes down. The project seems to be going well. We are still active after 13+ years while every other GLBSE founded organization disappeared over a decade ago. Our seat value is near its all time high. The Minted Seats created as a fundraiser are nearly sold out and I am actively exploring ways for coin owners to cash out their seats as well as having Bitcoin distributions be on demand instead of time based with a threshold, as I believe that has caused a lot of confusion. Do you have anything you’re doing for the project that you’d like to share or a desire to assist in some way? Well. Maybe. It's a variation of a theme as they say. I'll send a DM after a bit. Dear Satoshis .... I leave this forum and legit forget about everything and I come back a year later and ....  Is this puzzle STILL going?! WOW Yeah, still unsolved. From your last checkin one year ago, we've since evolved to the level of doing basic arithmetics and the complex intricacies of solving for kB in kA * kB = kC (assuming the multiplication is even possible). I think someone also found how the river flows through the stones, or something like that. Hope you'll check the status update again during 2026 Halloween. We'd then be at 1% of scanning 71 with some new Cyclone or who knows. Cheers and hook-a-boo! I have so many questions. Mainly relating to what a hook-a-boo is. Beyond that, Cheers! |

I placed an order for an Avalon Q that I intend to get up and running as a solo miner (unless people want to see small amounts of BTC trickle in as opposed to gambling for a block). I am also attempting to sell our Avalon Nano 3, but there isn't much interest in that miner. I am not sure it makes sense to continue running it once the Avalon Q arrives, so if anyone has any suggestions on what to do with it, I'm all ears.
Worth noting, the NastyShop is nearly sold out of all Minted Seats as only the 2oz variant remains. I am considering purchasing the remainder of them for NastyMining for auctions or giveaways in the future and I think it would be nice to diversify our holdings from only BTC, even if just a tiny %.

Havelock and Crypto Panama were the same company. They've long since ghosted.
It was a couple of people whose names I really don't recall because I talked to them only briefly in Denver. They opened that whole Crypto Panama thing and did what they did. They UK thing was just to provide some legitimacy.
In short, a total scam.

Does anyone know of people wanting to have their Physical Bitcoins as collaterals against a loan?
Likewise, I have heard of collateral lenders doing some loans against Ballet cards but those are usually like 0.001 BTC. There are others like Casascius coins that have been sold by auction houses. Those auction houses consider the physical bitcoins as a collectible class of item for the purposes of an auction. This means physical bitcoins are treated as a collectible. Which means, it can have loans against it like fine art has loans.
Are there other lenders / investors out there lending right now against physical bitcoins as a collectible?
I was wondering if anyone has come across anything about either one of these two approaches towards physical bitcoin custody as a collectible. It would be helpful for a research report that I am doing right now for a class.

Here is an Update! Freebitco.in has frozen my account funds. I have reached out to support via their website and I am contacting the members on here. Apparently there are others having this same issue. IMO I would wait until they can resolve these issues before risking your hard earned coins with them.
Why are you trying to spread FUD? We never freeze any account funds, we only block your free play at worst if we suspect you are using multiple accounts or abusing it somehow. Even then, everything else works as usual and your account balance is always yours and available for withdrawal. This is the PM you sent me: Hey, I am having a problem with my Freebitco.in account and so are others. Is this a problem you guys plan on solving?
Doesn't have any details that I can look into to know what problem you are experiencing. Still scamming people I see. Good to know. Glad to see puppet accounts getting returns. I got nothing  I'm sure Wetsuit is living a lavish lifestyle on my money. |
