1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SUMO] SUMOKOIN - 🔏 Digital Cash For High-Confidential Transactions 🔏 on: December 26, 2017, 06:41:36 AM
Dev Updates

Merry Chrismas and Happy New Year to all of you. Here are some year-end updates for Sumokoin dev:

1. GUI Wallet:

- Bill and Vu are working on GUI wallet to incorperate subaddresses to the UI. This is quite a difficult job but we hope to release the wallet by the end of this month.

2. Core Dev:

- We'll keep schedule as the roadmap on sumokoin.org but expected to have more innovations in 2018. We will have a conference next month to discuss thoroughly on dev in 2018.

3. Mobile wallet

- This is an effort from our community (dev by @Neils). It's still in infancy but very promising. Any contribution, testing and suggestion, pls head to its Github: https://github.com/SadBatman/sumowallet

We hope 2018 will be a big year for Sumokoin as our great community is growing and the coin is getting good traction the cryptocurrency world. Devs will continue putting bigger efforts and innovations to the project.

Cheers,
Sumoshi Tanaka

I’m looking forward to all of this, thanks for the update!

I downloaded the Sumokoin GUI Wallet for Windows 64-bit zip. I let it sync and it says it's 100% synchronized.
The problem I've is when I click the Receive tab (top left corner), the GUI Wallet crashes. Windows 10 gives me the warning "wallet.exe had stopped working" and closes the Sumokoin GUI Wallet.

Do more people have this issue? How can I solve it?

I want to transfer some SUMO from the exchange to my wallet.

No, first report for this issue.

Pls try to move the extracted folder to drive root like C:\ or D:\ and don't use unicode for the wallet folder name

Thanks for you reply. I fixed it by installing the non-ZIP version. After the installation also the .ZIP-version is working fine.

is wraith protocol being released Dec 5th?

Here they say “between December 5th and the 31st A specific date is not set in stone yet.”: https://bittox.com/2017/12/02/wraith-protocol-verge-released-middle-december/
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL][Electroneum][0% fees] Electromine: Stable, efficient Mining Pool on: December 03, 2017, 08:12:27 AM
I started mining on this pool. My stats say:
Pending Balance : 11.06 ETN
Total Paid : 0.00 ETN

When will there be a payout? Is there a minimum?

I found the answer on https://medium.com/@xikimay_33996/official-electromine-fr-faq-81e26c5c210e
"Why am I not being paid ? This question must be the most asked of all, and there can be many reasons. The first one is that you did not reach the minimum payout of the pool (For example, 20 etn on electromine.fr). This means that if you have not mined at least 20 etn, you will not be paid because the system will skip you."

Excuses for not checking al info in advance..  Roll Eyes

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 🔥 NEO Gold | First Airdrop Completed | Smart Contract Powered on: November 15, 2017, 09:14:28 AM
This NEO Gold sounds promising to me. I really want to buy some of these.
The point is, I'm quite new to the cryptocurrency scene and never bought coins with other coins (only with normal Euros via Litebit).

I've some spare Bitcoin laying around, is it possible for me to buy NEO Gold with these Bitcoins? If so, where can I do this? On the website of NEO Gold I find a list of exchanges, for example EtherDelta. Is this the place to go?
I'm thinking of using the Mist and Ethereum Wallet for NEO Gold (https://github.com/ethereum/mist/releases).

Hope someone can give me some tips and advise on this. Thanks in advance! Smiley

If you gonna use etherdelta, its gonna be hard for you. And you will need eth gas to move coins. Better buy it at newly added coinexchange markets. Send your btc there and buy neogold

Here is the market https://www.coinexchange.io/market/NEOG/BTC

I agree, etherdelta is leaving you dry to commissions, better some exchange, by the way, congratulate the neo gold team for their good work, sure to give good returns.

Thanks for the info and support! Now I understand it, and again a step further in the cryptocurrency-world for me Smiley
