1  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis on: August 13, 2026, 11:02:29 PM
Bitcoin price is at major resistance, from a large triangle starting in Oct '25 and touching in May '26. If this triangle will break up, during the next days, there is considerable upside, possibly 83k (upper BB weekly). But it may be rejected for now, and still break up later. A daily PSAR flip to bullish, which may happen soon, would increase the chance of the large triangle breaking up.

But if it will actually be rejected, where do you project Bitcoin might go during the next few months? Will we see a October/November bottom which fulfills another Four-Year-Cycle, and prove it's still intact OR do we see it BREAK that cycle?

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Sorry for the delayed answer, I waited for more price action, in order to provide a meaningful answer.
For the big triangle, it depends how you draw it, if it did or not break up yet. In my drawing, it did not yet, but in Gareth Soloway's it did.
You can check his video on the matter here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMilKgvKRIs

While daily PSAR did flip to bullish, this only lasted 3 days, and flipped back to bearish again. Also 3d PSAR did flip to bearish. Oddly, Kraken shows a slightly different pattern than Bitstamp or Coinbase. So the matter, up or down move, is not yet decided IMO.

There is a long term trendline where the market found support in late June, and now support from that trendline is around 59.5k. If that support breaks, I would expect to see 42k and later 35k.
If we'll see support holding and a strong bounce soon, then it's possible the correction from Oct '25 to June '26 was wave A, and we will see some serious upside (wave B) before wave C.

Latest from Bitcoin Beavers:

Here we have a weekly MA200, the lower curve of the Rainbow Chart, and, I think, the lower weekly BB. Massive support. It's not going to go any lower.
Oh, and the monthly lower Bollinger band is here... Come on, come on, who's looking for the new guy?
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis on: June 03, 2026, 11:09:02 PM
Bitcoin Beavers:
Retest passed. Below will be some bear meat.
I don't know, maybe it's a triangle. Just a guess.
My take:
Presumed bear flag broke down, has not confirmed yet. Major support became major resistance around 71k.
If this bear market continues to keep the proportions of 2022, the targets would be first around 45k, then later 31k.

In 2022, the BTC price went about 35.5% below the then 200-WMA, which was a low of $15,479 and a then 200-WMA of $23,952

Today, right now, the 200-WMA is $61,736, and you are expecting the BTC price to go to $31k, which would be greater than 50% below the 200-WMA?

Remember that right now, the 200-WMA is going up in the ballpark of slightly greater than $30 per day.

Well, if 31k will be the bottom of an ABC correction, then you could expect the next ATH to be around 250k. So that's not a scary scenario IMO.
The future could be a lot more bearish, if 31k is going to be just the bottom of A, of a much larger ABC.
And the previous bear flag reached much lower than usually expected from a bear flag, so this one could get a bit scary too.

6  Economy / Speculation / Re: Veteran trader Peter Brandt sees bitcoin hitting $250,000, but only after on: May 06, 2026, 09:39:52 PM
Bitcoin could reach 250k if speculator money would flow in. But why would speculators do that? During the last year, Bitcoin price went down about 15%, while tech stocks like Intel or AMD have gained 300% or more (100% just the last week).

Bitcoin Beavers:

1. Broke above the trend
2. Tested the trend
3. Moved up to 95 (upper BB)

Since we made a slightly higher high, your last posted count was invalidated. Any new scenarios?
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis on: April 25, 2026, 01:15:51 AM
masterluc believes the bottom is in, posted this on the 22nd:

Why am I so sure there won't be new lows? Because the rainbow chart shows the lowest zone. It can't go any lower. Meanwhile, the highest zones have already surpassed $1 million. I consider this indicator very reliable. And it shows that we need to buy frantically.

My take: we are close to major resistance, and some indicators show overbought. I doubt the breaking up from this channel, although if it happens and confirms, it would be very bullish.
I am looking to a repeat of the March 2022 scenario, we peaked around 48k, then crashed down to eventually 15k. The renewed bombing of Iran, after negotiations failure, could provide the impulsive move down.
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis on: April 21, 2026, 09:38:37 PM
We are experiencing an event driven market, and it looks like the potential crash (the indicators were not ripe anyway) is delayed:

Based on the fact that the Government of Iran is seriously fractured, not unexpectedly so and, upon the request of Field Marshal Asim Munir, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, of Pakistan, we have been asked to hold our Attack on the Country of Iran until such time as their leaders and representatives can come up with a unified proposal. I have therefore directed our Military to continue the Blockade and, in all other respects, remain ready and able, and will therefore extend the Ceasefire until such time as their proposal is submitted, and discussions are concluded, one way or the other. President DONALD J. TRUMP
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis on: April 15, 2026, 01:56:51 PM
Looks broken up and confirmed to me. But this does not invalidate the bear flag scenario.
To be reasonably sure the bottom is in, I'd like to see a push to 90k, followed by bullish consolidation.
Otherwise, if we push even to 84k, but the rejection will look impulsive, the bear flag will likely break down.
In which case, I suspect we'll have another year of bear market, with a bottom around 30k.
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis on: April 13, 2026, 10:23:39 PM
On the 6th pf April, masterluc posted:
Descending channel to your feed. I think this channel will be broken upwards. There's super-massive support at 58k.

My take: until broken, this trendline is major resistance, but since weekly PSAR just flipped bullish, the chances to break up are good, with a target about 80k.
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis on: April 05, 2026, 01:41:18 PM
Gareth Soloway has a better explanation on the large wedge, although I believe this could happen sooner:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Eb6fYPj4TY

 👍

Thanks for the link. Although he didn't actually say if Bitcoin will surge or crash, which we plebs would truly like to know. Haha.

But personally, I believe nothing will happen for more than his projected eleven days. It will be longer in my opinion.

Well, that's what traders do. Evaluate the opportunity for trading, which most of the time is not there, too much risk for too little potential reward.
Then watch for clear signals in multiple indicators, and patterns, which could lead to significant moves.

I believe the most probable scenario is that it will break up sooner, but hit major resistance at 72k, get rejected in an impulsive manner, and then crash.

The presumed bear flag has not broken down yet. If it doesn't within 3 days, the bearish pattern might get invalidated for now, and we could see some nice upside.

In what price-point will it say that it's invalidated? I believe the people who Buy the DIP and follow that 200-Weekly SMA Line and the traders like you are looking at the same long-term patterns.

The people who Buy the DIP expect Bitcoin to fall below the 200-Weekly SMA Line which will tally with your projection of  Bitcoin to go down to $48,000 - $54,000.

The market is in a position similar to the 29th Jan, but several indicators are looking more bullish.
If the market does not break down to 63k and then lower tomorrow, then in a couple of days it is likely to break up from a large wedge.
This would not invalidate the bear flag (I still believe it's one, because of overlapping waves), just the current still possible break down, resulting in a potential ~14% upside.

Only 76k, not 80k as I expected, after the daily MACD cross into positive. Major support around 68k, then 64.5k. If 68k holds, we should see a nice bounce.

The bounce was underwhelming. We seem to be in another bear flag, but it has not broken down yet. Major support is around 66k (right now ~69.5k), and if it will break soon, then the target would be between 54k and 48k.

Yesterday's attempt to break out of the wedge failed, but if the market will consolidate for another couple of days, the next attempt will have a higher chance to break out.

What are the latest posts and forecasts in masterluc's channel? Because it's another "wedge", he's probably posting that we're in the same situation as November to January, and it neither surges nor it crashes until either a surge or crash happens next?

  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The next move for Bitcoin might be decided by a geo-political event?

Last post by masterluc, on the 17th February: "Almost at the very bottom".

My take is that the path of least resistance is still up, and tomorrow we could see the daily MACD cross into positive, resulting in a pump to 80k.
