1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does BITCOIN make a person's life better !? on: April 03, 2021, 11:59:36 PM
If you look thoroughly, then BITCOIN is just money, but like money, can it improve the world around, and humanity as a whole !?
I don’t think “good” and “BITCOIN” are the same thing, most likely the opposite.
Because of money, a person becomes weaker, he does not need to do something, to develop, because money will do it for him.
Bitcoin helps people's lives and their psychology and feelings become better.  more importantly, bitcoin brings a positive change in consciousness, financial freedom, an "ambition" to motivate people to work hard to make money, an investment opportunity, a "new" usage.  .  The impetus that bitcoin is becoming a means of payment from Tesla can naturally extend the trend.  There are so many reasons in bitcoin that anyone could hope to become rich, changing the nature of life simply.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH and BSC on: April 03, 2021, 11:54:06 PM
How do you know ETH gas fees will be lower in near few months? I don't think it will happen soonTM, so I believe BNB's rise will go on in next couple of months. Even if they fix ETH gas fee problem it won't be near as BNB's low fees. People get tired over 100$ swaps so they switch out. ETH swap fees won't be 1$ anytime.
The die hard fans of ETH believe that the gas fees will become lower once the ETH 2.0 is fully rolled out and that is the general concept the ETH team is giving out as well but with the higher fees some of the projects already moved from ETH to BSC and so is the reason the price of BNB is rising as if there is no limit to the rally and went from $15 to $350 in a short period.
The problem lies in trust, if the BSC is released recently, will it secure the signature seeds for future safety?  Meanwhile, the market always welcomes major fomo diseases and losses countless times.  certainly not without reason and basis to believe in BSC.  Though, they pulled a large user base from ETH, and BSC had a 40% market cap growth and new ATH.  If ETH 2.0 can satisfy essential gas needs, and some mere staking features, I am still confidently immersed in ETH.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to sell my BTC? on: April 03, 2021, 11:47:10 PM
Sell a little by little if you don't need much money.

You take the profit and you still keep some bitcoin in your possession. Until the price goes high, you rinse and repeat that strategy so every up, you get to sell bitcoin at good prices.

But it's best if you have left a portion for long term hold.
You are putting it all in bitcoin.  Even though the value of bitcoin is at a high level and it has yet to show signs of going down.  Congratulations on making a good profit with this great decision.  Especially in this situation, my treatment would be to sell 30% to future altcoins in the form of Link, Dot.  Dot has made efforts to change the new ATH and is highly regarded as the version of ETH in the future.  While Link has creativity, mutations are a giant store of energy to explode.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If You Buy btc Today and cash out one year on: April 03, 2021, 11:33:49 PM
I also think that it is not necessary to pay attention to the news... They often influence your emotions and you can do the wrong thing!
Especially if you are willing to wait a year, then you can wait more... Wink
Information communication is a "double-edged sword". If you move with emotional news, it is easy to be influenced by many factors.  I do not recommend, the style that believes in news media without due diligence and takes kootj seriously.  fomo can turn your greed into despair after one year.  for bitcoin, one year is too short, the long term is the best solution!
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I went big into Bitcoin and Ethereum... on: April 03, 2021, 11:26:23 PM
Hello Gang,
New guy here.
About 2 weeks ago I purchased $50,000 of Bitcoin and Ethereum thru Coinbase.
It's all sitting in the Coinbase wallet with a 2 step verification to get access.

I just ordered a Trezor 1 cold wallet. Might take a few days to get here.
How safe is the Coinbase wallet for holding my stuff?
I've read that their site is actually very secure.

Thanks for any info!

Well, during the 2 years of crypto exposure of me, coinbase had a huge reputation and was favored for using a soft wallet that stores bitcoin, Ethereum.  Also, for 2-3 years period I haven't heard any news about coinbase being hacked.  Even today's favorite exchange, Binance, was hacked by hackers in May 2019.  And to protect your accounts and assets securely and carefully, use a hardware wallet.  That is my advice.  because no one knows whether coinbase will continue to ensure future safety or not.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the hell are Crypto kitties? on: April 03, 2021, 03:36:29 PM
its a game where you buy kitties and then you can breed and sell them

https://www.cryptokitties.co/
I first heard of them, until my link discovery and google simultaneously.
bred cat and worth 250ETH, which is crazy, even though it's a cryoto cat it seems out of my imagination, maybe i'm not in this game Smiley)
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your Top Crypto Picks for April? on: April 01, 2021, 04:47:00 AM
What are your Top Crypto Picks for April that you think have massive potentials? Or maybe your top 5 coins that you heavily invested in.

My picks were Monero, ALGO, THETA, PUNDIX, and DIVI coin... This is my potential coins. Might add some NFT tokens sooon!

I think this good trend will give the popular and trending coins in the market continue to explode and generate new ATH. Choice of: ETH, LTC, ADA, XRP, DOGE. I focus on LTC because it still has a low gain. Compared with many coins with higher growth rates such as ADA, DOGE, LTC actually has quite a modest growth. If LTC can be accepted for payment like bitcoin (Tesla). It will surely satisfy my dream.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if btc is in a bear market, can some alts still moon ? on: April 01, 2021, 04:21:37 AM
I know i can do a quick research but give example of when btc was in bear market, the 2018 beginning of year, and some alts still moon ?
any example
This comparison is lame. In early 2018, many major incidents happened, the biggest being the conflict surrounding Chinese and Indian sanctions on bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. This explosion caused the symptom of severe congestion in the popularity of the crypto world, becoming the subject of "bubbles". But after Covid 19, things went well. The vast majority of institutional investors have created a huge incentive for bitcoin's value. ICOs do not have many ways to profit, but mainly decentralized finance (Defi) has supported the development of altcoins in a more macro direction. Though, I think the bear market is still there. but the resistance is now higher.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etheruem having a bite on crypto dominance on: April 01, 2021, 04:00:05 AM

Etheruem since the bitcoin bull has been running alongside, growing in price, value, volume trade and dominance. This is good for the second crypto giant. It has been the eyes of altcoins.

Do you see etheruem climbing faster in dominance anytime soon?.

It is currently at 10.91%
I think that once bitcoin is accepted as a global form of payment, the transformation of Tesla's inception mechanism could open a trend for the adoption of other forms ETH will be the choice select next. Though, the foundation of ETH was not conceived for that purpose. But it will be pulled into a chain linked to bitcoin. That is the main reason that will help ETH continue to be the king of altcoins and Ethereum 2.0 is about to open the party. Do not hesitate to come to ETH. It will improve worth very soon.
The new ATH is coming closer.

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC was a lifetime chance and I don't think we will see a similar opportunity on: April 01, 2021, 03:50:36 AM
I don't imagine anything else that you'll be able to get for free or pennies and then value million times more. I just can't. No lottery will ever give you that. I admire the early adopters and wish I've been one of them, unfortunately no "friend" told me about it and I only joined in 2013 when I've found about it alone, still not bad but could have been better.
This is beyond my imagination. When the price of $ 20k in 2017 made everyone really think about BTC or that it was a bubble. But everything seems to have separated from messages of its true nature. Bitcoin now crosses boundaries to become a thousand-dollar asset that anyone craves to own. Coming late but maybe still in time to have a little.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I quit smoking and buy Bitcoin every week on: March 31, 2021, 05:20:55 AM
Hey folks,

I decided to quit smoking today and buy Bitcoin every Sunday. A pack of cigarettes I smoke is $10. It cost me $70 per week. So every Sunday, I will buy Bitcoin without checking if the price went up or down. Even if it goes to the moon, I will keep buying. I will edit this post frequently in the future. This Sunday I will start investing $70 in Bitcoin every  Sunday. I will keep this doing as long as possible and let's see what is going to happen.

I believe that at least I will invest in something that I believe, instead of wasting money on unhealthy cigarettes. Maybe some of you can do the same.

Wish me luck Cool

Week  Date Bitcoin Price   Amount Of Bitcoin
1 13.12.2020      $19.176      ฿0,003650
2 20.12.2020      $23.429      ฿0,002987
3 27.12.2020      $27.483      ฿0,002547
4 03.01.2021      $32.850      ฿0,002130
5 10.01.2021      $39.820      ฿0,001757
6 17.01.2021      $35.300      ฿0,001983

Thank you all for your support guys. 1. Week I bought 0,003650 BTC. Even the last 2 days it was cheaper, I waited until Sunday to buy. Rules are rules. I edited my post and let's see what is going to happen.

Btw, to be honest, I couldn't stop smoking completely. But in 3 days I only smoked 5 cigarettes in total. I smoke cigarettes for 10 years. I quit smoking for 1 year before. So I can do it again. Probably I will not smoke more. I feel better now.

I followed Allen Carr's famous Easyway to Stop Smoking method to quit smoking before and in my opinion, it's the best way I have ever tried. I am sure it will work again. For smokers I can recommend this method.

edit: I converted € -> $ to evaluate easily. I invest $70 weekly.
I really admire you. I don't have the resilience to quit smoking and alcohol. I have a stable job but a lot of pressure with a salary of 800 $ -1000 $ / month. Each month I enjoy parties with friends and colleagues spending about 300 $. $ 100 cigarettes. If I give up all I will have ฿0,006/ month or 1 BNB / month Smiley) Lol, it's a waste after I read your plan sharing!
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano Price Predictions For End Of 2021 on: March 31, 2021, 05:04:14 AM
ADA is getting great encouragement when it comes to rhythm at the DEFI party recently. POS-based development is prevalent and has two layers of architecture. it shows extremely high scalability and good compatibility with a low transaction cost of 250 additional transactions per second. It is clear that with the latest ATH at ~ $ 1.5 gain has proven the sustainability of this coin dubbed blockchain 3.0. I believe that in the future, the value of ADA will grow significantly. If the catalysts are well bonded in the support trend. The ADA could reach $ 2.5 this year.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple, Amazon and the collapse of all Banks on: March 31, 2021, 03:59:02 AM
Apple Wallet already thinking of converting to crypto, a matter of time
Perhaps this will happen sooner. They are definitely taking it seriously. When the units with great reputation in the world have started to include bitcoin and crypto as payment methods such as Visa (USDC), paypal (BTC, ETH, LTC, BCH), Tesla and there will be many more. Bitcoin is gaining popularity and gradually changing habits to become a global payment method.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now a GOOD or BAD time to invest? on: March 30, 2021, 11:09:31 AM
Hi everyone!

I'm new in the Crypto World, but I am absolutely obsessed with it.

I want to start investing in BTC/ETH, maybe also some others like THETA, Audius and more.

I am following different youtubers, twitter accounts, discord channels, to learn as much I can about crypto as I can.

BUT, is not the correct time to invest? As long as I understand, we are in a bull-run right now, and many do believe that BTC and also ETH will grow. Some belive BTC will hit 100K and some also think ETH will be up to 10% of BTC total value by end of the year.
- And addition to this, we might see a drop and go in a bear-market, but this seems not to be the case.

I'm also looking into start long trading on buybit, I want to start small and get the hang of it and learn the system and how it works.

SO, back to the actual question: is NOW a good or bad time to begin investing? Or should I wait for a heavy drop in the market, which might not come?
- I am looking for a LONG term investment.

THX - I hope some clever crypto minds in here can share their thoughts about my questions above Smiley

//Crypt.N00b
Personally, this is a good time to invest. Tesla allows payment of electric cars with bitcoin, VISA accepts USDC on ethereum, Mastercard is about to announce the date of accepting bitcoin. A lot of good news will follow. Non-government banking organizations also moved to support this trend. It will drive and urge urgent demands for innovation in crypto value. will be mainly bitcoin. I am accumulating more salary every month to embed.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's your Bitcoin cash price prediction on: March 30, 2021, 10:48:24 AM
BCH had rage similar to the big altcoin blasts with massive pump-ups for early 2018 with ~ $ 2k5 and a market cap of almost 40 billion at the time(coinmarketcap). But as we have seen ups and downs over nearly 3 years, BCH has dropped dramatically. Pumps were no longer seen in BCH during the altcoin acceleration season. It seems to have lost a significant institutional investor base and is out of the DEFI trend. It has lost its dominance and position into highly interactive and extensible coins such as DOT, ADA. My prediction for the value of BCH will not make much progress this year <1k $.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coins having an ICO next are to be good? on: March 30, 2021, 10:37:06 AM
There aren't really many quality projects enough to confidently open an ICO to fund startups. This is far from 2017 or new projects are not good enough for preparation or scam. Most investors also trust IEO more because of its liquidity. Really, good projects will most likely succeed in the presale like Sovryn. https://sovryn.app/
17  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is it worth taking BTC off an exchange to a hardware wallet? on: March 30, 2021, 04:19:44 AM
I currently have crypto on Coinbase and Gemini. I'm not sure how you would go about putting them on a personal wallet, but is it worth taking the extra money and doing this? Those 2 exchanges seem fairly safe for holding the coins, but I also have no idea how much the hardware would cost.

A hardware wallet is just one option for making sure your BTC funds are as safe as possible. If you really don't move a lot of BTC for long-term usage and planning then a hardware wallet is the best option. If you are really satisfied with the security on Coinbase and Gemini then it is not necessary to invest in a hardware wallet. At Asia we use Binance and Huobi, it's just too cool, and there's no need to think about hardware wallet options.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin adoption isn't stopping on: March 30, 2021, 04:05:36 AM
Anyone seen the article by MasterCard? Nothing give me more inspiration like the intro - "Whatever your opinions on cryptocurrencies — from a dyed-in-wool fanatic to utter skeptic — the fact remains that these digital assets are becoming a more important part of the payments world."

MasterCard also talked about how people should have control over their money because it's theirs -  "We are here to enable customers, merchants and businesses to move digital value — traditional or crypto — however they want. It should be your choice, it’s your money."

I feel pleased to see how unstoppable Bitcoin becomes on a daily basis. As I once said, the chances of Bitcoin going down reduces every single day. More investors, More adoption, More users.... And so on.
This year will be great for Bitcoin! We think last year was the best? Didn't you read the new about Tesla?!
Looking forward to more big companies adopting Bitcoin.

Read: https://www.mastercard.com/news/perspectives/2021/why-mastercard-is-bringing-crypto-onto-our-network/
Yup, Lately, with Tesla's adoption of bitcoin turned into a huge bang that completely changes the contradictions and obstacles in the history of bitcoin. At the same time, it was responded by a large number of communities. That is the best we have thought of over the years. VISA is filling the gap of USD when accepting USDC.
Even Jack Dorsey, Kjell Inge Rokke are also calling and supporting bitcoin. Mastercard, Bank of New York Mellon Corp is accelerating regulations for early bitcoin adoption. Everything seems to push bitcoin to move to 100k $ Smiley)
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who's gonna buy Tesla using Bitcoin? on: March 30, 2021, 03:51:51 AM
With the latest sharing of Elon Musk when accepting bitcoin as a form of payment for customers to buy electric cars supported by a "open source internal software" that allows customers to buy cars with Bitcoin ... Article This can realize they will be decentralized towards their customers and ensure maximum data. So it's really hard to know who will buy Tesla with bitcoin if no one can interfere or just between Tesla. Waiting for bitcoin to reach 100k is not unfounded, but bitcoin has many other uses depending on the purpose of its owner.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin to invest on: March 29, 2021, 11:10:08 AM
I've been looking to invest in some rising altcoins for quite a while now. Any suggestions for temporary investment? Smiley
The moving trend is on Defi and some of the rise in altcoins in Q1 this year have indicated this trend. I still expect some of them to explode this year. I still go with UNI, SNX, AXIS, PIE.
Seriously for a long time I will still choose ETH, Polygon, TRX
