1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will NEVER be widely accepted as long as on: November 22, 2013, 05:09:14 PM
Try this.  Go to your local back and make a withdrawal of YOUR MONEY... After all it is your money, and see what happens if they tell you Oh we are sorry but withdrawals are delayed and you will get YOUR MONEY in 6 weeks...   Yea right..

It's called a bank run. Happens quite often.

Maybe if you live in Greece or some third world hell hole. In the US, depositor`s accounts are insured up to $250,000.

On the BTC exchanges, your accounts are not insured at all, and you actually run the legitimate risk of having your funds mishandled or downright stolen. So OP has a point.
Third world hell hole? I bet you dont even know the true meaning of 1st world and 3rd world, lol.  and what makes the US so great? Honestly, they are first in almost nothing, except the number of people in prison, obesity, highest cost of healthcare, those kinds of things. Ive live all over the world, and grew up in the US, the US is by far no where near the best country to live in.

8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: November 19, 2013, 12:11:05 AM
I love that Bitcoin is going up. Earlier in the year I had about 25 Bitcoin. Over the last few months I had to steadily sell them off because I couldnt find work, and Im living on my own outside the US. I did save 1 single Bitcoin though. I hope I dont have to sell it, I want to hold on to it as long as possible, I want and need to see this go to $10k or more. Im still struggling, but, I still have high hopes in Bitcoin, I will hold out as long as possible, I hope to find work soon, but I wont sell my Bitcoin until I either have to do that or live on the street.

 Comon Bitcoin!

Theymos has got to be in on it, 13 pages and no response. Somehow negative trust feedback on TradFortress's account is being removed.

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Working on a new coin. Will update this thread when completed. on: August 15, 2013, 05:10:13 AM
I am working on a coin that will solve many problems currently confronting the crypto community. The amount of issues, bugs, and exploits on all these alt coins becomes more aparrent daily. Due to this and watching corruption begin to creep into the development teams of the more popular coins. I would like feedback before the coin is completed.

I would like ideas that fix problems that exist. Dont worry about method of implementation, that will be taken care of on my end.

Please reply with either a problem, feature, or a solution. I will take your concepts and implement them, there will be no premine or instamine.

Do not bother with giving tips for the which sha256/scrypt combo to use, this will be neither.

I am only looking for suggestions for the items to include in the client itself to continue encouraging decentralization and allow users to further empower themselves.

For the files once completed, they will be posted here. After which we will start taking community requests or even help if offered.

https://github.com/NiccoloMac

This will be an ongoing work in progress.

Features Requested:
1.Real world value (IE XPM (not really useful) or other coin that integrates a real world beneficial project, looking at Folding and other real world applications.)
2.Attack resistant - I have a method for this already.
3.Anonymous - This will be optional, I have this portion begun already.
4.Integrated Chat
5.Make a option to have reduced blockchain size.
6.Mining Calculator
7.Adoption via simplicity of use
8.Network attack mitigation
9.Integrated API
10.Paid Ad Network - Using Broadcast or Similar Feature. (this would require monitoring and manual moderation most likely)
We already have that coin, bitcoin... lol, idiot, do you really think your ideas are original?   wow
