162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mass Market Appeal Coin - SantaCoin on: July 08, 2013, 12:07:31 PM
I'm really surprised nobody is excited in the least about the idea of a mass market appeal coin.  I thought a sports coin or a religion based coin would excite some people but it's not happening.

So how about a benign mass market coin which isn't offensive to anyone - well, some people get offended by oxygen.

What about SantaCoin or SantaClauseCoin, as I have both domains?

It doesn't get more mass market or harmless than that?  Come on, there's gotta be better, way better ideas than naming a coin after a bird feather.  Yet feathercoin is worth nearly $1 million after less than 60 days.

Can't anyone see the earth shattering potential here for a mass market coin if it's launched right and marketed properly?  The potential is enormous.  Thanks for your voting efforts.

What say you?
Cmon man, just go with your CatholicCoin, people are really going to take you a lot less seriously if you keep throwing all these joke coins out there.

If it was very active with the chinese, they wouldnt be taking it off btc-e due to low volume.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][DGC][ARG] Exclusive Exchange with Fiat on: July 08, 2013, 11:51:56 AM
I'm a community member like the rest. These is nothing I "should" do and investors have the right to only disclose what they want known.
Personal investors can remain anonymous yes, but you said many serious investors, any businesses, etc. thats how business works, shareholders know where money is coming from and how much, you saying that DGC has many serious investors but not be able to back it up only hurts you and your coin, why are you throwing out flak you cant back up?
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CatholicCoin - Catholic Coin - Religion Coin on: July 08, 2013, 05:31:10 AM
Since the Vatican has its own sovereignty and its users are OK with centralization, wouldn't it make more sense to issue a gold (or art?) backed e-cash if the church is interested in pursuing this?

2 Things you should never argue about

1. Religion
2. Politics

Because the arguing will never stop and no one will win.

Religious peoples believe what they believe in and they know why, non believers dont believe in anything and they just do what they do i guess... so, whatever.
I think the arguing doesn't stop because you either insult everyone who argues with you - "enjoy hell", "learn2read", or because you haven't taken the time to actually understand the other side's position - "non believers [in god] don't believe in anything [else]". Atheism is not nihilism; we don't just live without a care in the world - almost all of us care about making the world better. If you're only helping others because you think you'll get a reward after death then you're not altruistic at all, you're more selfish than any of us.

I've had plenty of very interesting religious discussions with Christians, but it has to start with mutual respect.
Unfortunately nothing on this forum starts or ends with mutual respect.

168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Magic Card Game Coin / Collectible Hmmm. on: July 08, 2013, 04:28:26 AM
I dont know, I was just thinking.
What if we used the same system that Cryptocurrency uses, same deal, anonymous sending and all that jazz, similar qts.  As far as mining... maybe, you may still mine this one... check it out..

How about instead of trading numbers back and forth, (ie: all cryptos ever made) you have cards in your wallet, remember that card game called MAGIC, each card had different values based on rarity. And in your qt you can actually see and flip through your cards, not just numbers, so this would have to be completely revamped.

And you traded cards with other people, also there would have to be some kind of other uses for the cards, like a website which held tournament games with the cards you held in your qt.

You can send and receive cards from other users, there are more of the less valuable cards, and the really desirable cards are very rare, maybe only a few exist, or a grand card of which one exist, but there are many different levels...

Maybe mining could work somehow where you mine random cards, maybe hitting a valuable one... Or if mining dosent work, cards are randomly passed out evenly to all available wallets one time.

The biggest selling point is to actually be able to see your cards and the artwork, just like those magic cards.

I dont know, some people might like this, I was just bored, about to have a smoke and f%$^ my girlfriend, do with it as you will.

Nice addition.
Funny thing is she just asked me if I wanted a sandwhich.... I said yea, but in a little bit here.. lol

I think this coin will gain a lot of users, it will also drive away a lot of users. Just like all the other coins out there now. So go ahead with it, Ill collect it, I like the name and what it stands for.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CatholicCoin - Catholic Coin - Religion Coin on: July 08, 2013, 04:09:36 AM
So then why arent you out there taking out huge loans from banks, skipping the country having a good time with it, just living the most of life without a care in the world, then when you run out of fun, or money or end up in prison off yourself, if you dont believe in afterlife whats the point then.?
That might be the dumbest question I've ever heard. If I don't believe something that was written by mortals who were still alive 2000 years ago about what happens when you die, then that means I believe in ruining other peoples' lives? How is that logical in any sense? If I went on some stupid killing spree and got gunned down, that'd be the end of my one life by your logic, why would I end it so suddenly?

If you believe in multiple lives with absolution of all sins, why don't you do those things yourself? Is it that inconceivable that people think for themselves and act on their own accord and not believe everything from a book written by people thousands of years ago and has been translated and bastardized several times over? You assume Christiany/Catholicism is the ONLY religion in the world. It isn't. Get over it.
Get over what, im not pushing anything am I ? Im just asking questions ... learn2read

172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Soccer Coin - SoccerCoin - First Sport Coin on: July 08, 2013, 03:56:28 AM
This is a proposition for the world's first sport coin:  SoccerCoin!

There are no name-brand alt coins right now and I don't get that.

There are no Crypto-Coins with a pre built-in loyal customer base, like sports or religion.

If porncoin didnt take off.  what makes you think soccercoin will?

They had a pornCoin?  Ahahhahahaaa.  Great point.  I thought such a coin would go crazy.  I think it was just too early.

Right now maybe 1% of the population is active in this things.  If the bitcoin ETF thing takes off its gonna jump to 10% overnight.  Then pornCoin may have a chance.

But I now think soccerCoin is too vague.  People want an Identity when they buy their coin and Manchester is trademarked. So I'm SOL on sport coins.

If you need to do something like this.  Go with different coins for different games or something and find a way to implement them into the games.
PhenixCoin is already in this market, actually they are well into it.

Christ died for our sins, so let's not disappoint him.  Wink
How do you disappoint a corpse?
Im just interested to know.... from non religious people here, or people who dont believe in God...

What do YOU think happens to you after you die ?      Im just curious to hear all your thoughts.......
Usually, your family has a burial, a cremation, or your body is donated to science/organ transplants to help the living. I suppose there's other options.
So you are saying that you, yourself just go blank, when you die, thats it, nothingness ... right?
You're asking me if the dead are dead? Yes, the dead are dead. Hence the word dead.
So then why arent you out there taking out huge loans from banks, skipping the country having a good time with it, just living the most of life without a care in the world, then when you run out of fun, or money or end up in prison off yourself, if you dont believe in afterlife whats the point then.?
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Profitability Mining, or mining the most profitable crypto-coin, using CGWatcher on: July 08, 2013, 03:47:24 AM
You are only destroying actual Good coins out there, this is just making noobs believe which coin is the best and all the hash power is turned away from truly innovative and well backed coins onto shit coins, then it dies and they move to the next... This is just one big pump and dump tool.

177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Koolio's Trolling and Harrassment on Btc-e, got to stop / POLL on: July 08, 2013, 03:43:26 AM
Sorry just replying to OP statement of x bans in 10 minutes... if he had bothered checking... which I doubt he did, he would have seen the mass spamming previous

Thank you, good day sirs

From what I have seen koolio is pretty fair he just follows the rules.

I have seen him ban many users over time just because koolio didnt agree with their opinions, they weren't cussing, spamming constantly, or doing anything against trollbox rules, and I know what they are.

He always tries (tries) to pump coins and get his opinion listened to and no one elses.

He is no different there than he was on here. Just a butthurt child.

Being it soccer, is a good idea, the worlds biggest and most popular sport.

But for a coin, no, no one will ever take it seriously. Let it go.
