41  Local / Anfänger und Hilfe / Re: [Edit]Bitstamp SEPA Überweisung: Message number -> Zahlungsgrund? on: December 19, 2017, 02:50:41 PM
Ganz einfach:

42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Privacy getting important: Verge or Spectrecoin or DeepOnion?? on: December 18, 2017, 11:29:56 PM
For the privacy purposes, you easily pick Monero or zcash. They're perfect and there is no question about their reputation in the way they work and operate. The other would be waste of time for me actually.

Zcache uses zero knowledge proofs, what requires trusted setup. Read the post above for explanation, or better google it to understand why is that an issue.

Monero is great coin, but spectrecoin is also good, and definitely undervalued, which is a great opportunity for investment. It already has Tor obfuscation OBFS4(One can use it ie behind Great Firewall of Chine, which blocks Tor. Tested), stealth addresses etc., and should very soon (I would say Q1 2018, maybe end of 2017) receive significant update (1.4), to be followed with even better one (2.0).
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Privacy getting important: Verge or Spectrecoin or DeepOnion?? on: December 18, 2017, 11:18:02 PM

did Spectre successfully implement zero knowledge as once was indicated, and if so, how does it compare with the zerocoin protocol?
Spectrecoin doesn't use zero knowledge proofs (but ring signatures), and it is good so. ZFS (Zero knowledge proof method) requires trusted setup, what is quite bad situation for crypto currency. It is almost impossible or at least very complicated and difficult to do it properly.
In order to have zero proofs, one has to create a private key, which is very dangerous, because it makes possible for everyone with the key to forge proofs. Private key is required only temporarily, and according to protocol it should be destroyed, but who can guarantee you this, that no one present at the time of the key creation won't see/remember/save the key for later use?
44  Local / Anfänger und Hilfe / [Edit]Bitstamp SEPA Überweisung: Message number -> Zahlungsgrund? on: December 12, 2017, 09:20:14 PM
Hallo Leute,

45  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If you have missing Bitstamp SEPA transfers, post here. on: December 12, 2017, 08:58:17 PM
I sent a transfer April 10th and it finally appeared in bitstamp a few hours ago. Make sure you have put the transfer reference in the wire or it will take longer.

Almost eight months!!!? Did you forget the deposit message number?
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what to do if bitcoin decreases? on: December 11, 2017, 12:46:41 AM
I read a lot of comments - I saw that everyone understands and does not panic at the expense of this correction. But there are some who will sell in a panic, and this is not surprising!
Yes, I just talked with a guy who started investing in BTC like 4-5 month ago, and he panicked and sold all his BTC after last drop, a day ago. I think the additional stress b/c he was in place with very slow and unstable internet connection (which was breaking all the time), and fear he won't be able to react properly, did encouraged/influenced him to make this decision.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ASIC vs GPU on: December 10, 2017, 10:59:39 PM
I wonder why is there no more noise around mining. Nowadays it is profitable even in West EU, and USA. With modern ASIC machine which is not expensive (~3000 € or $) one can easy make > 200 $ per month (profit).

Considering trend it will only become more profitable. The reason for silence is probably the fact that more miners means less profit. Buying is currently more profitable, but also much riskier. As miner one will make profit even if BTC stays at 12k the whole year.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what to do if bitcoin decreases? on: December 10, 2017, 01:25:55 PM
I don't get the recomentation to buy altcoins if price drops. If you want to invest in altcoins do it before drop.
49  Local / Altcoins (Hrvatski) / Anonimne, decentralizovane valute on: December 10, 2017, 12:47:14 AM
Pozdrav svima,

Tu su jos i neki drugi interesantni projekti poput Golem a, no neka ovo ipak ostane tema o anonimnim, decentralizovanim valutama.

Ukoliko znate za druge slicne projekte, upoznati ste sa manama gore navedenih, ili prednostima nekih drugih kriptovaluta volio bih cuti vase misljenje.

The truth is current code (they copied) has some bugs, which have been fixed mostly, and are to be released in 1.4 version of Spectrecoin wallet (it is complete rewrite of the GUI + many fixes.). The code upload to github will wait for awhile this time I presume , so will see what will they do about this. Maybe they will fix bugs on their own?

They are probably not even aware of these bugs.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest $500 in Altcoins on: December 08, 2017, 09:25:16 AM
I would recommend you to check spectrecoin (XSPEC). It is very cheap, has unique features. Thought, before investing you might consioder waiting for wallet 1.4 to come out, which could happen any day now (The price will probably increase when it happens, so you might consider buying when you hear about beta release for example.).
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins to watch that are coming up on: December 08, 2017, 01:48:13 AM
Using polymath name is not legit I think. Polymath is already a licensed software name.

I'm watching the market for new privacy tokens, I need something anonymous, I don't want my transactions to be visible by others. If you know any, please share.

Phore (PHR) tis a fork of pivx but is being improved, has zerocoin built into the wallet etc, take a look its an interesting project

Or an often overlooked anon crypto is nav coin (NAV) low price, history behind it (in crypto terms anyway)
NAV has richlist, transactions happen on centralized servers. Much better investment and tech IMO is Specterproject (XSPEC). While there is a richlist, one can use stealth address, so no records in richlist. Whole network is integrated in Tor (Nodes are decentralised, part of the Tor network, which they never leave.), and for countries which block Tor, as China (GWF), there is OBFS4 (Preconfigured and activated).
Project has some bugs, but they will be resolved with wallet 1.4, which should be out very soon (It is already done allegedly, developers are working on bugs.). Price is low, so good time to get the coin.
Default stealth addresses (Private balance and staking) are in work for v2.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: December 07, 2017, 05:09:15 AM
Hi Guys
Is monero still worth investing in ?
Probably, or better said highly likely.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: December 07, 2017, 01:36:49 AM
What kind of retarded shit is "tor integration" like its some sort of feature, everything and anything that does tcp/ip can use tor for fuck's sake.
Many things are retarded but Tor integration isn't. First with Specter project everything is setup, user just has to start the wallet. Second all nodes are inside of Tor network. Third it uses OBFS4 (Tor obfuscation), and it works behind GWF for example. How many projects do you know where people from China, and countries where Tor is blocked, can simply start the wallet chose stealth address and stay anonym and secure?
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next 100x-1000x coin? on: December 06, 2017, 04:44:02 AM
Spectrecoin (XSPEC) is pretty solid bet.  Privacy coins are the wave of the future, and Spectrecoin is one of the most private and secure coins out there.

There are only around 21 million in circulation, yet the price is still well under $1.  This is not likely to remain the case for long.

This is one coin which should easily reach $5-10 within a year, and it would still be undervalued, imo.

Check out the Spectrecoin wiki, you'll see why I'm excited about it:

Xspec is still in distribution phase, I hope at least, thus the price sometimes drops down to approx 0.3$, when good offer has been made (ie 0.5 btc).

I also like Golem. Excellent developer team, idea interesting too.  Still, most of my money I have put in xspec.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Deep Onion on: December 02, 2017, 12:50:29 AM
I am trying to find some information about developers on DeepOnion official site, but not able to find anything. Are there some data about developers available, like number, skills, anything?
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Deep Onion on: December 02, 2017, 12:40:29 AM
I just checked the road map, and what I like most is the possibility for holders to vote. This could help coin to technically stay on the top. Marketing is going quite well here it seems.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Deep Onion on: December 02, 2017, 12:25:48 AM
I think now deeponion looks very good even against bitcoin. Even more serious than xspectr and other anonymous coins
In which sense more serious? AFAIK spectrecoin has implemented Tor obfuscation, and is the only coin which can be used behind the great wall in GWF. But it definitely has more value on the market currently.

Are there any considerations to implement same or similar (One which would enable people in countries where Tor network is not allowed for example to use coin anonymously.) feature in DeepOnion?
I have discovered this coin recently, it looks well, project with resources what is a big plus. Though I have to gather more info about DeepOnion. Would also like to see the roadmap.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Deep Onion on: December 01, 2017, 01:05:07 AM
What do you think? Onion going to boom?

At least for now the price is going $2 per onion. But it is not conclusive as to the soundness of the deeponion project. There are several factors that we have to consider. One of which is the continuous airdrop that is happening. I think it will not end soon. There are still a few months left for this project's airdrop. The true performance of this coin will be seen when all rounds of this airdrop will be done. There will for sure some serious dumping.

dumping can happen, but why do you relate it to airdrops? As I see it airdrops dump the price, so the price could actually go up when AD stop.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XSPEC vs XMR vs ZEC vs XZC on: November 22, 2017, 12:42:58 AM
Does anyone here has experience with Spectre wallet? I am a quite of a n00b  here, but it seems that the wallet won't sync, and there are no active connections to the spectre network. The icon in the right upper corner shows that wallet is syncing but there is no way I can check if this works or follow progress.
