621  Economy / Speculation / Re: What affects the price of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on: September 05, 2020, 07:45:10 AM
Affecting the price of bitcoin and other cryptocurrency is all because of demand and supply together with the decision of every people using it to buy and sell. I don't think if there is other factor that make it's price go up and down except people exchange buying and selling. Those other factor you mention is just affecting the peoples decision or the demand.
622  Economy / Economics / Re: The pros and cons of going cashless on: September 04, 2020, 06:30:07 PM
I do not like cash for the reason that all paper money and coins in circulation are dirty, so I prefer only a non-cash payment method. But still, you should carry a couple of hundred dollars with you just in case, because there are unforeseen situations with payment terminals.

Did you buy now everything without cash in your hands or in your pocket? I think no because online payments, buying goods and services is still not enough. Also a cashless transaction has a limited user because all are using cash based on the their accustomed.
623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is now the 6th largest world currency on: September 04, 2020, 06:20:56 PM
It will be the proof that bitcoin has a growing online adoption and the believers of bitcoin are keep on increasing. It also symbolized the importance of bitcoin to everyone but it is still far beyond the true currency that a large number of people are using.  Will ,who knows government will accept bitcoin as an alternative currency during this pandemic period.
624  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Cryptocurrency rates especially BTC Fluctuate so quickly? on: September 04, 2020, 06:14:45 PM
I always wonder How Cryptocurrency rates especially BTC Fluctuate so quickly? I mean is there any system on which there rates are decided? If so, what is it?

In terms of value in the market, the main reason is always the demand and supply because these are the primary factor affecting the price movement in the market. I think many people are selling their bitcoins that's why it's value suddenly pulled down. Also another factors that affect the market movement is the implemented trading bots to executes buy and sell order very fast.
625  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin purpose why and for what this is the reason on: September 03, 2020, 05:21:23 PM

sorry i promised not giving a free advice but i could hold back but feel free to ask my wallet and i add my wallet for you guys donation to me:)
the new money is coming  bitcoin purpose is to be digital gold?

why`?

bitcoin will back up digital currency btc purpose will be what gold purpose was when fiat currency arrived.

btc is backing up new digital currecny wich are the stable coins little we know that stable coins value is determined by BTC PRICE.

if btc is up the stable coin purache power is low if btc is down the stable coin purache power is up.

Why your post is always the same? Asking donations and not giving your advice and predictions free.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5272492.0

Why not try to work hard, join a campaign or make an investment so that you can earn a decent amount and not trying people to fall in your very low class strategy.
You also need to read more about the forum rules to make you conscious about your post asking donations.

627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid big commissions to pay ethereum ? on: September 03, 2020, 05:02:52 PM
We have nothing to do about the high eth transaction fee right now. If you will put below minimum gas limit, your transaction will fail. Much better to convert your eth first to other coins if you want to make a transaction or wait until the gas price will decrease. Here in my country there is no problem if we want to avoid the eth high fees and make a transaction directly to our local wallet because we can convert our eth to xrp which have a very small transaction fee.
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I like to collect the token on: September 02, 2020, 03:11:34 PM
Do you have a preference for collecting tokens instead of selling them?
Currently in my wallet there are more than 200 tokens with different values and I do not sell them every time it is listed. I keep them and watch them every day. I was fascinated by the fact that there were many tokens in my wallet and not paying attention to their price.
Do you think this is a crazy hobby?

Yeah, that's really a crazy hobby! People want tokens and they monitored the price so that they can sell if ever the price was good. I think you just keep all the tokens without value and make it as decoration in your wallet but if you think the value is great then that is the time to sell to earn profit than to regret later.
629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet do you think is the best? on: September 02, 2020, 02:26:33 PM
MyEtherWallet [1] is open source and supporting ERC-20 tokens. You can use Samourai wallet [2] and Electrum [3] for Bitcoin (it's open source too and safe)

[1] https://www.myetherwallet.com/
[2] https://samouraiwallet.com/
[3] https://electrum.org/

MEW does not have desktop app right?

Yes, Myetherwallet has no desktop app but you can open it directly using browser easily and it is the best wallet for me. There's a lot of wallet to choose but using a wallet is depends on the user if what kind of wallet they are comfortable and understand how to use it.

634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No exchange? No Value! on: August 27, 2020, 01:47:14 PM
So I bought an altcoin called batcoin from a cryptocurrency exchange website. I even withdrew all my coins to an offline wallet, because I don't exactly trust exchange websites. However, the exchange it was listed is now gone, due to a hack.

So now I am stuck with coins that have no value.  Undecided

Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

What do you think I should do now?

You can wait if ever there will be another exchange for that coin but if really nothing then You can do nothing with your coins but make decorations in your wallet. Even me have huge amount of coins stored in my wallet with out any value and not even list on exchange.
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: August 27, 2020, 01:20:15 PM
I have thought that one key advantage crypto (bitcoin, litecoin, Dash, monero etc.) has over gold is that its supply level is fixed and transparent, but can this or features make crypto more valuable than gold?

The value of something is depends on the supply and demand but we can't compare crypto into gold in terms of value. Bitcoin reached ATH at $20K but kilo gold is more than a million. Crypto is digital currency while gold is an stable asset from the nature. Gold can last for a long period of time even till the end of the world because it was already there since the beginning. Crypto is very young compared to it and it will not last for so long like gold because it's value always depends on demand and supply together with it's features and uses.
636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: August 27, 2020, 12:20:45 PM
I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin?

Yeah! I always read that on different cryptocurrency social media but just look around and you can also find  good Altcoins with potential to grow. Not all altcoins are dead, you just need to become careful to invest in some altcoins. We can still earn a profit from those good altcoins.
637  Economy / Economics / Re: I have discovered Something about covid 19 on: August 26, 2020, 03:58:18 PM
The sustainable development is like this.

Country and community has one purpose.

The purpose to provide one kind of Service or produce Something.

And Country wich has no purpose at all and not sustainable need to be closed and most or all population to move other location as labour force or other Type of Service purpose.

Its all about sustainable way to use resources.

I believe leaders of every country are smart and has a lot of plans and ways to sustain the economic status as well as the community during this pandemic. They will not allow their country to be destroyed by pandemic. Also that's why there is a leader on every country to lead the people and the economy so that their country will run with a purpose.
638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum's biggest contender? on: August 26, 2020, 03:45:00 PM
I think every smart contract platform is a contender of ethereum but as of now i didn't see any one to defeat the ethereum because it is one of the most popular smart contract that almost all the people on this crypto space are using it. Almost all project old and new are using ethereum smart contract and it was the famous one and known by almost all people than the other which is not yet already known.
639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Name really matter in crypto? on: August 26, 2020, 02:50:19 PM
Please there's something I really want to understand about this crypto industry because at times as a newbie in this cryptocurrency industry you might get this wrong by making more mistakes in crypto. Does crypto name really matter before it become successful?

I think crypto name is not really a matter to become successful in crypto space because the important, the project should build a good foundation with great strategy to have a great demand in the market. Once it is established the demand will make it's name to become famous and to get to know well in crypto industry.
640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which are your top 5 coins for HODL? on: August 26, 2020, 11:59:59 AM
For me: hold some new coin / token with bright future.
Idena (idna)
Chl (chellecoin)
Gtn (Genesis token by relictum.pro)
Df
eq20

Because hodl is godl  Grin Grin

Holding  new digital coin for a long term is not a good idea for me because mostly it crash and not stay in crypto market. Much better if you convert your earnings from this coin to eth or btc which have a great future because it was already trusted, tested and famous in all digital cryptocurrency. Bitcoin and ethereum is always my choice then i add xrp and bnb that i think has a possibility to grow in a near future.
