I have my lucky seed and I am unable to use it after I change my server seed? Why is that? Seems like a bug, fix this please, does not seem fair. If I have a good client seed, you can't just choose to make me change it!!!

This restriction is in place to prevent a situation where we (the house) could gain an advantage. We could intentionally generate future server seeds for your account that bias results against a previously chosen seed. We could, for example, generate a seed where the first few bets placed with your old or favorite client seed and betting style tend to have a higher chance of resulting in a losing bet. Disallowing reuse of a seed prevents this exploit from being possible.

The message indicating the restriction will be removed is out of date and will be updated shortly.

Why is it that the client seed is randomly changed at times? The client seed should be stateful and should never be updated or changed without the user acknowledging such an action. Even if this is a harmless bug on the casinos end, to the player this raises doubts and suspicion. The whole point of using a client/server seed pair is so that there is a user defined variable in generating the results. When this is switched or updated without the players consent or knowledge, this becomes quite unnerving despite the intentions or lack of.

Please either make the client seed stateful or at the very least warn the user as a notification PRIOR to them playing the next round of a game so that they know their client seed has been switched and needs to be replaced with the old one if they want to continue with the existing seed pair. I don't understand why you guys set it up in the current manner, it doesn't take that much more programming to have the client seed saved unless the user inputs a new one...Many users aren't even aware that their client seed was changed and once you place a bet its too late to go back to the old seed pair. It's even more unnerving to me that there doesn't seem to be a specific action that causes my client seed to be replaced. There are times when I will close my browsers for hours and it will still remain, then other times where I can do a mere refresh of the page and it will be changed. Please fix this asap - It is very difficult for me to deposit real funds into a site that doesn't take this seriously, given that the seed pair is what actually generates the results...

Yes, I know Bitvest has been around for years but that by no means excuses any online crypto casino from following standard operating procedures of a provably fair system.

This is definitely unintended behavior. The last used user seed should be automatically loaded upon logging in (it can take up to 1-2 seconds), and should never change unless the user types in a new seed or presses the randomize button. If anyone can provide me with specific steps to recreate an unintended seed change, I will gladly fix it and pay out a bug bounty. Please make sure to include your browser version and OS.

I never said it changes randomly, I'm saying I would like to use my client seed even if I change my server seed. If I change my server seed 10 times, I need 10 different client seeds. I want to use my lucky seed.

I really dont like this. If I have my lucky seed, you are not allowing me to use it. The point of the client seed is that the CLIENT gets to set it to whatever he wants, not what the casino prefers. Please remove this restriction.

How much time do cold wallet withdrawals take? I'm waiting almost a day already.

Apologize for any delays, should be processed.

Hot wallets normally don't empty too often, we aim to check the hot wallets at least 1-2 times a day. Occasionally we get a big winner, and withdraws the entire wallet. You may withdraw right after the player withdraws and our wallet check-in right before the player withdraws, and our next schedule wallet check in is at the end of the day, which leads to an unfortunate bad timing and maximal waiting time. But it shouldn't happen that often  Smiley

If your withdraw is a large withdraw requiring cold-wallet, we aim for at least 1-2 times a day. The wait shouldn't be that long, if we did the cold wallet processing, and one is right after, the next window should be at the end of the day. But usually should be reasonable speed  Smiley

Don't miss out the bonus on bitvest  Smiley

Giving away tons of prizes on chat, just level to 1, and claim bitcoins, ethereum, litecoin, bitcoin cash, and dogecoin.
And convert tokens into cryptocoins in the account tab.

I have my lucky seed and I am unable to use it after I change my server seed? Why is that? Seems like a bug, fix this please, does not seem fair. If I have a good client seed, you can't just choose to make me change it!!!

Can you address this? Why can't I use my lucky seed?

Hi acdc,

It is indeed a very special campaign that we're running now and until the 13th of April.

In short the cashback is on NET LOSS.
Eg1 if you've deposited 1 BTC and lost 0,5 then you'll get 30% of 0,5 back at the end of the week.
Eg2 if you've deposited 1 BTC, won to a balance of 2 BTC and then lost 1 BTC so you're back at 1 BTC in balance the NET LOSS is 0 and you'll not be eligible for cashback.

More info here: https://coindragon.com/campaign/cashback

Hope that this explains and that you find this offer as great as we think it is (as there are no strange strings attached!!).

Very welcome to CoinDragon!

No strings attached, great offer, except when they decide to confiscate your money and close your account  Grin Grin Grin Grin

Admins I suggest we tag this thread as a potential scam.

So final words from us too.

First of all a week has passed and many, including us at CoinDragon, have advised you to go to an independent third party with your claim and you haven't..
Instead you send mails "threatening" to publish on Bitcointalk. Well not to be picky but you're already posting on Bitcointalk aren't you... Wink

Violating the rules is against the T&Cs, end of story.

However we'd like to thank you for two things.
First for us verifying that our fraud detection system works as it should, but also allowing us to do improvements to it after your specific case.
Secondly, you are actually right that we took to long handling this issue! The case of using ALTs to try and fraud and exploit us was quite evident at an early stage, we should have been more direct and clear in our communication to you around this. We'll be sure to improve our handling should we ever (hopefully not!) need to adress a fraud case again.

*stay safe, wash hands!*

It is really disturbing that you think you have the right to confiscate a players funds because you suspect him of 'fraud'. You have no right to keep his deposit, no matter what BS you write in you terms.

New players should think long and hard before depositing here, as you can see what can happen to your money. You may very well lose it at the whim of the owner. Unfortunately the crypto world is full of scams like this - Hard pass from me.

To clarify the situation and show print screen of discussion with customer support and admin.

1.   I deposited coins
2.   Played one game and won
3.   Tried to withdraw coins -> did not work
4.   Contacted customer support (please see print screen)
5.   Was told that my account is under investigation and that I need to contact admin (please see print screen)
6.   Contacted admin (see print screen)
7.   Received three replies (see print screen)
8.   In the end was told that I violated their T&C and my account was closed and my coins were confiscated without any real justification, proof or any further communication. Just some guy there decided to close my account and confiscate coins so he did it.
9.   End of story

This whole think is more for you, I will not play there anymore, maybe it is good 90%, but was definitely not good for me with as they confiscated my crypto without any real explanation.

P.S. How can i upload pictures? I can not see option how can i do so..
P.S 2. Please excuse my last email, I was quite angry..

@coindragon team: my account name was: maple12 and as for the proof of register, there is none other than the printscreens as you deleted my account Cheesy Cheesy

All your accounts at CoinDragon have been closed in accordance with T&C:s 3.5.

3.5.   You are allowed to have only one Account. If you attempt to open more than one Account, all of your Accounts may be blocked, suspended or closed and any cryptocurrencies credited to your Account/s may be frozen and returned or confiscated depending on the outcome of our investigation.

https://coindragon.com/info/terms-and-conditionshttps://coindragon.com/info/terms-and-conditions

The accounts were flagged early by our fraud detection system and immediate action was taken.
After thorough investigation enough evidence was collected to conclude violations of the terms and conditions and all involved accounts were closed.
The user account maple12 was informed.

Hold on, so you're saying you suspect this guy had multiple accounts, and that gives you the right to confiscate all his money without any further discussion?

Are you absolutely insane?

The user created many alts in order to abuse and exploit our services and attempt to fraud us.
We have ample proof of this but as I'm sure the community understands we will not post it in this thread.
If Canada_1969 would like to pursue this matter we'd be very happy to cooperate in the investigation if handled by an independent party such as askgamblers.

I will update the original message to be clearer that it is a matter of abuse and fraud.

Even if this were true, you have no right to keep his deposit. Really shameful behavior, new users should read this thread and think long and hard before depositing here.

Hi Guys,

The casino is a scam, be careful! Please read below

I am new here, but I like casino games, so I when I heard about coindragon from a friend, I could not resist to try.

The offer sounds goods, you get 100% of the winnings and get 30% cash back on your losses.

In my case, I deposited crypto, played one game (one flip), which I had won and tried to withdraw. Aaaand here comes the problem. The withdrawal did not work, so I contacted customer support, which redirected me to admin and after two email exchanges with admin, my account was closed with an excuse that I violet their T&C, which I have no idea how could I do so.. and of course, providing no proof (I did not even ask, because there cannot be any).

The site looks sketchy from the looks of it, but 30% rake back was a good payoff for the risk, that’s why I tried, but unfortunately got burnt.

Have all the print screens talking to customer support and getting two emails from the admin to serve as a proof.

Save you coins, go somewhere else.
Best

This is... concerning to say the least.

This replaces the old thread which was locked... and seemingly not going to get opened again for some reason.

EDIT: If anyone knows if the mods open those locked threads, do let us know. Feels silly to lose a 200-page thread because someone reported a thread for a rule that wasn't enforced... lol

What rule did you supposedly break?

How can people keep falling for this kind of nonsense?
14  Economy / Gambling / Re: FortuneJack has a problem in Dice game on: October 04, 2019, 05:15:43 PM

Firstly, we again want to thank the player that helped us to find the bug, which might have affected some dice games played on our website. However, the case described in the initial bounty inquiry was extreme and relevant only with the option of playing over 99.90. The effect of the bug will drastically decrease while lowering the payout: if on 990x payout the bug had mistaken house edge and drew it for 10.89%, the aftermath from system miscalculation will be reduced, as the payout will vary (see the chart).

The case we had to deal with is no ordinary, and the company felt obliged to find a fair and relevant solution, so this took a couple of days. It has been years since we are in business, and the only way we kept our presence steady in this turbulent market, is FortuneJack's dedication to acting as fair as possible towards players and every each of them.

Following the logic initially set from a player in this bitcointalk thread and data that have been available for us to do calculations, we conclude the following:

Data Available as we clearly cannot tell when the bug started to affect our dice game, we decided not to start guessing and credit players from the moment we have the oldest record - November 2014, almost the date of establishment of the FortuneJack Casino.

What we have is Bet Amount and Win Amount recorded on our players. Most of the data is not kept forever, so it made calculation quite hard, and we had to rely upon more general and big data.

We have constructed the model of possible harm the bug might have had on players' bets, combining general assumptions and general knowledge to finally achieve average formula of payout for every player, who might have been affected.

We consider that most default style of play, practiced by the vast majority of players in to play on the edge of 50.00 and even the default game on FortuneJack Dice is Roll Under 49.50 (The bet that cannot be affected by bug), we decide not to calculate definite chance of default in our calculations and divide bets on rough two Over and Under 50. All the are Over 50 might have been affected and non who are under 50 could have been.

We have also calculated that, on average, playing case of being in the range of 50.00, the effect of the bug would have been 0.0198% following the model initially voiced in the bug bounty approach and written in the first post of this thread.

Following the data and module
, we decided to econ average out of the players bet amount from November 2014 until today using the formula:

(Bet Amount * 50% ) X 0.0198% - Where every possible bet that might have been done over 50 on FortuneJack Dice by every player is multiplied on the possible average effect of the bug on the house edge.

Following this calculation, we have decided that starting next week, until the end of October, we will be airdropping this amount on each of the player's accounts that have the history of playing dice on FortuneJack.

To claim the coins back, a person will only need to log in to FortuneJack Dice, and everyone who might have been affected will get the difference that on average bug might have had back on their accounts.

We think our approach is fair and will make up for everyone. We believe finding the average effect was crucial in dealing with this case, and the final decision is equally reasonable to every dice player on FortuneJack.

We want to sincerely apologize for allowing the bug to affect the game and would like to thank players, the most respectful competitors, and the insightful Bitcointalk community for participating in the discussion.

We will post updates over airdrop in this thread shortly next week.
FortuneJack.

Pretty solid response imo. Spent quite some time on FJ dice, curious how much will be airdropped to my account.

Chickendinner seems like he will take this one but the game is still long to go, there is still a lot of time for the other places to race with each other, I mean at least I hope that they will race against each other because otherwise there is a lack of wagered since the two competitions were so close to each other we may not end up with the same amount of wagered this time around.

I am not saying its not gonna happen but if it does it wouldn't be a shock, we just got out of a new competition and there is a brand new one right away. Hell even yoloer who won last time doesn't seem to be around for this time around, he either lost a ton of money last competition so he doesn't want to do it again or he just didn't realize and will eventually come. Lets hope the race gets fierce soon.

Why does he seem like he will take this one?

19  Economy / Economics / Re: Will people come back to gold on: May 24, 2019, 10:13:07 PM
No, this is definitely not going to happen. Because gold is a completely dysfunctional metal. Bitcoin is an investment tool that has more functions than even money.
What do you mean "dysfunctional metal"? One of the reasons why gold is keeping its value is exactly because IT IS functional metal, it has practical use. With all these new options of investing, one could think gold will lose value because it became less attractive compared to stocks and cryptocurrencies. However gold's price is relatively stable and safe investment because it has practical use. In the US, the amount of gold used in electronics is almost the same as in jewelry. And industry of electronics will only become bigger and bigger so demand for gold will increase over time.
