I can say yes, Eth will be rising in 2018, since it supports smart contract and many project ico's was offered, some of them being success and come into the market. This Eth value will be increasing as demand of people investing in those potential Ico's project.

you are never late brother,it is estimated that less than 100million people use or trade bitcoins and if that is the case,in a world of nearly 10billion people,if you are now joining the cryptocurrency train,then you are no where near late,in fact you are too early,just look around for any promising currencies and invest in them and enjoy your rewards.

I think you should invest 50% in Bitcoin because bitcoin.
Second, you should invest 20% in Ether
Remaining 30% invest in Ripple.

Out of the many ICO's coming out right now, we can't assure if it would be safe to invest on it.  Though there are few ICO's succeded, it would be more secure if you do a research and observe first the flow of the ICO before investing. Its success only depends on the project and the team who worked for it.

If we can see today's market and its growing popularities i don't see its dull feature in terms of price in near future. even if it falls from its current price it will bounce back and justify its value again.

I prefer like to store my bitcoin in online wallet because it is so practically. I can easily withdraw my profit from trading to my online wallet. It's little risky to talk about it.

Decentralization and regulations, mainly. You could still use both for transactions and exchanges and such, but the former doesn't have something to control nor change how it should be delivered to the masses.

Bitcoin's declining market dominance is also observed when analyzing its impact on other cryptocurrencies. For much of the year, it wasn't uncommon for the overall market to follow bitcoin's lead. Smiley

i believe that bitcoin will be the next main currency in the next few years or decades because of the popularity of this. it was very and convenient to use for paying my utility bills and gadgets. soon it will be legal in my country
