I've won some penny auctions in the past but my problem with them is the sites run bots that essentially bid up the prices really aggressively and artificially inflate the prices as well as make everyone bidding spend more of their tokens. If you guys came up a way to make the bid process transparent on the blockchain this would be a killer application!
Same experience, this is actually the whole point of these bidbits I think. I'm not sure if penny auctions are in 'fad' right now though so it remains to be seen how popular this can be.

Seems like the Ride team is hard at work. Very impressed keep up the great work, love the expansion in to the blockchain biz! If the coin was trading somewhere it would probably be doing quite well with the constant efforts.

My client currently crashes every hour or so, and I get a tonne of orphans. I guess from your last update you're aware of this..

My wallet was out of sync for a few hours yesterday, but turned it back on today and it seems fine. I'm looking forward to getting started.

Is there a place in one's profile where you can list if your a smoker or not. like to smoke when I drive or ride in a car, rather have that sorted from the get go.
Also I've bought some coins but the amount keeps changing?

They had carpooling in world war 2? I did not know that, that's quite interesting. I imagine not many people had cars back then, probably would have been upper class people exclusively. Why would they want to carpool ?
In times of war, resources such as oil are scarce and are rationed. The well off could have been doing their part for the war effort by car pooling.

Thanks OP, i was beginning to think you disappeared.
So i guess that clears up on how things will roll in terms of verification. I'm fine with that, as long as the beta won't require me to submit anything I can atleast test it out.
How will you address the different laws regarding who can drive a given car?
In some countries, only those with insurance on a specific car can drive that car, whilst in other countries, insurance is not tied to the driver but the car.
Suppose I wanted to take my mums car on a drive from one city to the next, and she already has an account with her name associated with her car, can I also have an account with the same car tied to my account? Over here, our insurance is tied to the car, so anybody with a license can drive it.

Erm, seriously would you feel comfortable sitting in somebody's car who you don't know the name of? Sure you have his reg, but even then how would you know it's not some crook who stole the car and is about to kidnap you?

There's actually a really hot market right now for straight up drivers.
For people who drive their car out and then drink alcohol, you can find people who are able to drive you in your car, back to your place. I would actually use this.. maybe you can look into this?
your right the drivers could do very well on a friday and saturday night! I second this, I would use this too. The number of times I want to drink but can't because I gotta drive my car home.

Surely Bitcoin is already an international currency.. You can use it anywhere in the world.. that's the point of it.

Hello, A couple cubes got burnt up/melted and don't work. I'm guessing I can just replace that pci-e connector on the cube. Anybody run into this? Does anyone know how to go about this? What parts do I need to purchase? I know someone who can solder this stuff on, but part do I need to purchase. Would be much appreciated. 90 degrees pci-e 6-pin male connector?

My beaglebone broke on the neptune and KNCMiner has been unresponsive. Looking to buy a new one. PM me, whatever the market price is. Thanks.

I read on here that some people weren't getting their RMA Cubes returned and my friend was worried when he sent in his. He said they fixed his cube within a day of arrival and just shipped it back via UPS all within a week. Bravo. He says he still has a little hope for those Bonus Neptunes.
