1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long bitcoin will survive ? on: March 20, 2018, 04:33:08 PM
I think if it was going to die it would have by now, so I can't see it dying anytime soon. It would be crazy if it died now after the recognition and price it has finally achieved.
2  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What is the best way to create a new crypto currency? on: March 20, 2018, 04:26:50 PM
It could be made achievable by using Kickstater or another crowdfunding website. There is also the chance of creating an ICO an then doing it this way but it takes a lot of preparation.

Thank you for the reply but I believe it is every 60 minutes. At least this is what i'm lead to believe.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: teach your children about bitcoin on: March 15, 2018, 10:45:44 PM
I don't have kids but I definitely will. It may have changed a lot when it comes to that point so they may already know but it is a sound idea.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / DeepOnion Wallet Staking on: March 14, 2018, 06:37:47 PM
Does anyone know what the weight is when the Deeponion wallet is staking. I don't actually know what the weight means? Does anyone know?
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: March 12, 2018, 09:40:17 PM
When faith is lost. That said it could happen at anytime so it is hard to tell. It is struggling to go anywhere at the moment so this could be the start of the loss of faith!
7  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Cryptocurrency Crowdfunding on: March 12, 2018, 09:38:34 PM
I will tke a look at Ethereum.org and view the source code. I hope that it would take off if I did a crowdfunding page.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitcoinEssence launching! on: March 11, 2018, 06:18:15 PM
Should we really trust this? I am slightly cautious I am not gonna lie, but I understand that new cryptocurrencies are going to start up.

check those:

Top 20 crowdfunding platforms
Here are 20 crowdfunding sites you can use to fund and fuel your startup. Some of them are more geared to developing products, others are about funding artistic endeavors, and still, others are ideally suited to nonprofits. Some sites will collect all the money as it comes in, others won’t collect it until the goal amount is reached.

Kickstarter.
Indiegogo.
Patreon.
GoFundMe.
Crowdrise.
PledgeMusic.
Razoo.
RocketHub.
Crowdfunder.
Give.
Charitable.
Lending Club.
AngelList.
Ulule.
Funding Circle.
Seed&Spark.
Crowdcube.
GoGetFunding.
Fundable.
Kiva.

All of these are great, but do any of them accept cryptocurrency as means of investment. Most of these I recognise but I don't think a single one accepts cryptocurrency.

Besides, how do you guys think the best way to do it would be. Have a person set it up and have a goal of 25 bitcoin for example and then have a wallet everything is paid in to and if they reach their goal, pay this to the entrepreneur? Opinions are welcomed!
10  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Should I get a hardware wallet ? on: March 06, 2018, 09:37:27 PM
I also wondered the same but I have found that a hardware wallet would definitely be best just for the security alone.
11  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Cryptocurrency Crowdfunding on: March 06, 2018, 09:33:47 PM
I should have explained what I meant. Something similar to Kickstarter or Indiegogo but you can invest in ideas with cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.
12  Bitcoin / Project Development / Cryptocurrency Crowdfunding on: March 06, 2018, 01:57:52 PM
Does anyone know of a current cryptocurrency crowdfunding website? I can’t think of any and I was doing some research in to them and found nothing. If anyone knows any a link would be really appreciated:)

If there isn’t one yet, what would people think of one and do you think it would be successful?
Thanks

I've never looked at it in that way before, but I can see why now Smiley
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Change my avatar on: February 27, 2018, 07:04:32 PM

Thanks
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: should i invest in ETH or Ripple? on: February 27, 2018, 09:30:09 AM
I think neither and just go for a cryptocurrency with a small market cap with huge potential. This could be DeepOnion or other things like IOTC. Have a really deep look in to them all and decide based on this research.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you predict coins will be stable again? on: February 20, 2018, 03:11:28 PM
They look to have stabilised now so hopefully the only way is up!

But you never can tell with cryptocurrencies.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Deeponion Airdrop on: February 20, 2018, 03:09:00 PM
Im also interested, seems a cool project and active community!

I downloaded the wallet but I didn’t managed to finish to sync as I have a bit of a slow connection

do I have to download the entire blockchain? how big is that?
I had to do exactly the same, this is the only downside to it. Unfortunately you do have to download the whole blockchain but DeepOnion is not the only wallet that requires this.

You could always try a paper wallet I suppose.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Deeponion Airdrop on: February 20, 2018, 03:07:31 PM
I have been wondering the same thing. It does appear that way. They have set up an interesting system for getting the air drops. I am hoping to get Jr. Member status in time before the air drops are all finished.

I have just made it Junior Member so I know exactly how you feel. It is not a quick process but you are close now and I believe we are somewhere in the region of the 32nd airdrop. You have plenty of time to apply.

I had my first airdrop the other day but I was expecting a little bit more, I don't know whether I was just being optimistic.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Deeponion Airdrop on: February 18, 2018, 12:20:10 AM
Does anyone know if DeepOnion airdrops will increase if I have a higher Bitcointalk rank and contribute more towards the community?
20  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What is the best way to create a new crypto currency? on: February 13, 2018, 07:36:58 PM
I can imagine creating your own cryptocurrency would be quite a complicated matter. However, even I would like to know how or join a team to help part time.
