1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading stressful for you? on: December 04, 2018, 02:08:05 AM
I believe it is!

What do you do to relief trading stress? Do you have any alternatives?

As for me I stopped trading for 3 months and play blockchain games. Now I feel myself better!

UPD #1

Some people asked about blockchain games and how to find them. so I've made this list of games

UPD #2

There is a good blockchain shooter War Field. itís 100% not scam so I can send it here. you can read details about this game here (I donít send direct link to their website not to make them advertisement)

People who would say that trading is not stressful is lying. I have been trading for quite some time now not only for crypto currency but for other assets as well and I did not meet/talk to  anyone that have not been stressed.  Specially this 2018 all types of  market have been brutal to us traders. What I usually do is work out and play with my dogs, to me those two are the most effective way to relieve stress.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Lose Hope Just Yet on: December 01, 2018, 01:55:52 AM
I know many people already have lost all hope for crypto currency but these people are the ones who do not understand the history of Bitcoin. Your post  is correct prices of Bitcoin have been this way since from the beginning. We just need to be patient and prices will recover in time.

5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you all in when trading? on: May 10, 2018, 04:01:54 AM
This would produce the most gains , but if you predict wrong you could be stuck waiting for the price to either come back up or down to get back in. I did this the other day. I sold and bought back in at what I had predicted was going to be the next upswing. However some last second sellers swooped in and dropped the price below my limit. Then it just continued to fall from there. Now I sit and wait for the price to come back up to my purchase price so I can get back at it. I hate waiting. I get antsy. I should have left some money in reserve so I could have at least bought in at the bottom. I got greedy. Now I wait.  Sad

This is a very dangerous strategy. If bad luck hits you can be out of the game in no time.

I personally rarely go all in when trading. I also just go all in with 2 coins and that is Bitcoin and Ethereum. That is the only two coins that I trust will not fail me.

Fortunately when I go all in I have always gained a  good profit.

6  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain Not Just About Bitcoin on: May 10, 2018, 03:58:05 AM
Blockchain not just about bitcoin and virtual currency, at least this is happening in my country (Indonesia), the latest news that the General Directorate of Taxes provides taxation services by adopting blockchain technology. They believe that blockchain technology can be a more transparent taxation solution in Indonesia.
In my opinion, bitcoin with its blockchain technology has many positive impacts on the world economy. Technology blockchain banks in the world is only a matter of time. Banks that have implemented Blockchain on their systems include the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). They developed a distributed ledger technology (DLT) system based on Blockchain technology, and named Hyperledger.
Bank OCBC has also used Blockchain technology to transfer funds between OCBC branch offices in Singapore and Malaysia. The money transfer process takes only about 5 minutes.
Bank Santander. The British bank has also started using Blockchain technology in its services. Bank Santander uses Blockchain technology to service payments abroad, through new applications.
This means the world has unconsciously received the presence of Bitcoin. Due to evidence of security and speed of blockchain technology brought by Bitcoin. I believe that bitcoin has a bright future, and countries in the world will simultaneously recognize and legalize bitcoin.
Let's discuss this, share information about the development of bitcoin and blockchain you know, and express your opinion about it here, the results I expect from this discussion, can reinforce the existence of bitcoin.

Everybody who knows how blockchain works are well aware that this technology is not just for Bitcoin and virtual currency. We know that this technology will help many sectors in society. I actually read that one province in India uses blockchain as its ledger.

I can see in the future that more countries and companies will convert to block chain. They will soon understand the benefits of using the blockchain technology.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Lost Bitcoins on: May 10, 2018, 03:53:18 AM
Yes, there is a lot of Bitcoin that is lost forever specially in the early year of its creation but remember back then the price was $.001 and they can mine Bitcoin very easily. People who have mined Bitcoin was basically not that concern on their mined Bitcoin but nowadays since a Bitcoin costs a fortune people who actually have it are protecting it with their lives. People are very careful now with their wallets. With that said I do not think there will come a time that the lost Bitcoin will not effect us.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people think everyone is a scam? on: May 10, 2018, 03:42:57 AM
I think there is no one to blame but the real scammers. People are just vigilant because as we all know there are a lot of scammers out there.

I think you are just getting frustrated because you are not a scammers and people are accusing you as a scammer, do not worry in time you will build your brand and people will know that you are legit.

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH will reach $15,000 this year Says Reddit Co-Founder on: May 09, 2018, 05:15:16 AM
$15,000! this is  not impossible but it has only a 0.01% to happen.

Now i have read that this was just a typographical error and it should be $1,500 which is the more realistic speculation.

We may see this happening very near as the market is now reversing.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it a Good time to Buy Cardano ? on: May 09, 2018, 05:09:10 AM
I know that this was posted back in April and I hope you have bought ADA, anyway since the market is recovering I think today is still a good day to buy Cardano.
This coin will recover sooner or later and perhaps we will get a new all time high for this coins as well.

Cardano is a great coin and there are a lot of people who believes on this coin.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is the vehicle, we run it on: May 09, 2018, 05:01:55 AM
A lot of posts are about bitcoin (eg bitcoin for illegal transactions ... bitcoins change lives ... bitcoin destroys the world ... bitcoin poison and so on) but basically it's all humans that move .. bitcoin is the tool. Good bad how the tool is how the man who runs. is it worth blaming bitcoin. What is your opinion?

With any technological advances that was made somehow there are people who can flip it around and use that technology to do their dirty work.

With the block chain technology there are a lot of people who uses it for the betterment of the world and there are a few scumbags that uses it for evil deeds. It is just sad that media always focuses on the bad things and do not inform people enough on how is bitcoin is helping the world.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Sees Wall Street Warm to Trading Virtual Currency on: May 09, 2018, 04:57:49 AM
This type of movement is inevitable. Everyday that passes we'll see more news just like this. Definitely interested to see what the rest of the year has in store as far as institutional involvement.

Yes I agree that this type of movement is inevitable, with crypto currency being popular each day giant financial institution will surely venture on this alternative investment. Also many people already trusts or invested on this companies and them saying to invest in crypto currency will surely help get more investors in the crypto currency market.

I think in the future we will see more big companies/ banks that will also give you an option to invest in crypto currency.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is Bitcoin used to extort people? on: May 09, 2018, 04:43:51 AM
Being anonymous have its pros and cons, it gives us freedom on how to use Bitcoin and other people are just using its anonymity in evil ways.

These schemas was for along time before bitcoin created.
Bitcoin is one of the instruments but not the reason

Yes I agree regardless if Bitcoin/block chain was invented or not scammers/crooks are going to this.

I believe in the future there will be a way to trace any fraudulent account or anyone who use his btc account to do any illegal transaction will be red flag  from their system

I do not think this is going to happen, there will be a lot we need  to sacrifice if this is going to happen.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: Me Sold all BTC at 20k $ Peak on: May 08, 2018, 04:50:24 AM
As for now btc is constant on 8 to 10k $ and it will take too much time now to reach its peak of above 20k $ per bitcoin and the fact is no one can guess when it will grow that much in upcoming time may be next year or after 5 year but all believe it will cross 20k $

but did u guess last time right and sold all ur btc at 20 k $ cause me sold it that time and buyed after 1 month on 12k $ peak luckly me guess it right

Well good that you were able to sell all your Bitcoin on the peak of the price.  Also yes no one can predict the price when it will reach $20,000 again but I disagree on your timeline. 1 -5 years. Of course this is speculation but I think Bitcoins price will reach a new all time high again this year.

I personally did not sold my Bitcoin that I hold for long time because it did not reach my target price. For the Bitcoin that I am trading I was able to sold it at around $19,000.

15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: new to this things on: May 08, 2018, 04:42:13 AM
There are previous post that give you advice I just want to add that since you are new to trading do not risk your money. There are a lot of of websites that allows you to create a demo account, use this first and try to feel how to trade. Once you get a hang of it try to put in first a small capital because trading demo and dealing with your money is different emotionally. If you are confident that you can survive this game then stat putting in more capital.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Stock Market and Bitcoin on: May 08, 2018, 04:37:44 AM
The concepts from stock market are applicable for trading Bitcoin ? Or I have to study crypto market specifically?

Imho, while the principles are the same, there's one big difference: crypto market is not regulated.
The result is that pump and dumps or other forms of market manipulation is still there and can burn you.

I agree, this is the only negative side of crypto currency market.

For the topic Yes there is a lot of similarities when trading stock market and trading Crypto currency but  Forex trading is actually more similar.

Technical analysis is the same but it may surprise you that only a few people who trade in crypto uses technical analysis.

I think you just need to study which coins are worth it to buy.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffett #BitcoinFOMO on: May 08, 2018, 03:44:06 AM
As far as I remember Mr. Warren Buffet is not a fan of Bitcoin. He has been saying these for a very long time and probably he is surprised that even though he advises people to avoid Bitcoin just more are investing on it. Obviously Mr Buffet is a very successful investor and I usually listen to his advice when in comes to investing in stocks and commodities but I think he has no Idea what Bitcoin is and what the technology can do.

18  Economy / Economics / Re: Overcoming inflation with cryptocurrencies on: May 07, 2018, 09:17:40 AM
Good for you. Almost everyone knows that your country is having a crisis and i am glad that crypto currency have helped you beat the economic situation of your country.

I visited Venezuela once and it is a beautiful country, their people do not deserve this type of situation.

Anyway good luck to you and i know one day your great country van recover from this crisis.

19  Economy / Economics / Re: Feeling bitter in banks? on: May 07, 2018, 09:08:10 AM
I have notice that some of us here in the forum have this kind of bitterness feeling in banking sectors. They always compare banks and cryptocurrency and to the extent that they want to eradicate banks and to be replace by crypto. Are you sick and tired of reading this kind of post?
You feel this way because you have spent too much time thinking about altcoins or tripling your money by trading. If you tried to go to the roots of why people need bitcoin then you would understand that the purpose is much more than making easy gains available to early adopters and scammers.

The basic purpose behind bitcoin is to provide humanity a way to shrug the control that financial institutions have over the working class. There is close relation between the central bankers ability to fund governments with debt and increased burden of inflation, taxation and public spending cuts resulting from economic crises. Bitcoin provides a solution by removing all of those third party intermediaries that tell you how much value your money/ property has.

Sorry my friend you might misunderstand the title of my post. Every BTC fan knows the very basic use of bitcoin. You are correct that BTC provides solution on third party intermediaries.

What I really want to happen is to people should understand that banks are business. It is one of the oldest forms of industry created way back to the old time. Letís us focus on cryptocurrency development and leave the difference on perception on banks. These two entity are possible co-exist and I think that will be more beneficial to all of us. Stop whining that banks have bad practices you option not to use it.

For your question, yes i am getting tired of seeing post about banks being the devil.

I also agree with you that bank and crypto can coexist. People who are behind banks are smart people and they know that Bitcoin or altcoins can be bad for thei business but again as we see now some banks are not actually waging war against crypto insted they are adapting it. Recently singapore is releasing bitcoin bank notes. I will not be surprised one day that banks will release their own coins and probably accepts our digital assets.

20  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the US Dollar Too Volatile? on: May 07, 2018, 09:01:04 AM
This is not only unique with the us dollars but we can say the same for other national currency, from british pound to chinese yuan all FIAT loses its value because of inflation. The government just print money and making the value lesser each year. This is the reason why bitcoin decentralization and limited supply is better. Instead of value going down it goes up as supply is getting scarce everyday.
