221  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: day trading effective? on: March 02, 2018, 04:28:17 AM
questions on day trading cryptos
seems a tricky task
your watching volumes

so i ask for people in this forum who day trade?
effective for profits,
?
i imagine.impossible when whole market red ?
on videos seems to watch the candle charts?
and hold a red and buy asap to a green?
do u recommend. ? if one has the time?

Day trading is very effective and profitable business if you have the following;

  1. Skills and talent on trading
  2. You have group support around you during trading
  3. Experience in trading
  4. Patience
  5. Determined to learn and grow
  6. Got lot of capital
  7. Full concentration

These are some of the ingredients you need to become successful day trading. But even you have this it will not guaranty your success but will increase your probability of winning.

I agree except on the number 6, well it will help you a lot if you have a big capital but it is not needed. Real skilled day traders can make their capital grow really fast.

Professional traders just make sure that within a week or months they will have a profit because you can not win all the time. You will win some trades and definitely you will lose some trades.

For the OP, this is where you will find skilled traders when the market is bearish and they are still getting profit.
Candle charts alone is not an effective way you also need some indicators to predict.
222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Watch out! Hacker on: March 02, 2018, 01:58:13 AM
I am angry with hackers! They steal the money and coins from others. They don't know how that coins they stole important to everyone and they did not care if someone lose their money. As long as they are alive, alive in a way that their needs and wants supported by means of stealing from someone else.

How do I say this nice

OK I will just come out and says it because apparently our trusted leader Satoshi Nakamoto is in trouble for taking $5bn worth of Bitcoin
and here is the link http://www.whoar.co.nz/2018/bitcoin-man-claimed-cryptocurrencys-inventor-accused-stealing-5bn/

Russia Today first released the story but Google has decided to edit that out from the search results and I have tried several IPTV box
providers and strange as it may seem but none of the RT News channels ever work but it must be my bad internet connection playing up again  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Nobody believed that he is the real creator of Bitcoin AKA Satoshi Nakamoto. He was not able to provide any single evidence that he is. Also as far as I know he also retract his statement. Now he is actually sued because he is the only one that admitted he is Satoshi.

For the topic hacking has been a problem ever since and to be honest the only thing we could do is be vigilant. Always think before you click, is the link you are clicking is legit. Specially if it was sent at an email. also do not download anything that you are unsure who the source is.

223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Germany Won't Tax You for Buying a Cup of Coffee With Bitcoin on: March 01, 2018, 05:53:26 AM
I was reading a bitcoin news in google when i found this article on google. This is the real evidence that bitcoin is start accepted by government nowadays. I hope this could happen in our country too.

News source : https://www.coindesk.com/germany-considers-crypto-legal-equivalent-to-fiat-for-tax-purposes/

What is the price of a cup of Coffee in Germany? Less than 3 dollar I guess. The transaction charge of BTC could be more than the tax of a coffee cup. Not wise though to pay BTC for a cup of coffee.

Yes ,it is true that the transaction fee maybe bigger than the coffee itself and using your bitcoin maybe a stupid decision but if you look on the big picture this is a start of something big. If a first world country can implement this probably other countries will follow until we realized that we can buy a car using bitcoin without taxes.

As of now on our country the tax is 12% if you buy something and actually bigger on cigarettes and alcohol.  Imagine how much we can save if we purchase a house or a car using Bitcoin.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crash Incoming on: March 01, 2018, 04:09:26 AM
I know his a newbie  and did not provide any reason why there will be a crash, possibly he is just creating FUD but what he said make some sense. I do not know if he considers it a crash ($2k down) but it is possible that we may go back to the $9,000 level. I think this support level will be tested again. I think Bitcoin price will move sideways  bouncing from $9k - $11+k before another bullrun.

I am not asking you to believe my analysis but this is what I see in my chart. It is all chart plotting no emotions.
225  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: All crptocurrency at a single exchange. on: March 01, 2018, 03:58:44 AM
Is it safe to keep your all crypto currency at a single exchange (bitfinnix)?Or one should choose multiple exchanges.

As others said it is not really safe to store your coins in an exchange specially if you have a large amount of it. Just keep 20%-30% of you coins if you an active trader. If you are a long time holder it is safe to keep it in your wallet.

Even reputable exchanges like Bitfinex Binance etc can be hacked. These exchanges should work on their security but i do not hear any news that they are doing something about it.
226  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading on: March 01, 2018, 03:14:03 AM
Does stock trading work the same way as bitcoin trading?
Stock trading is difference bitcoin trading and cryptocurrency trading. Bitcoin trading is the same Foreign Exchange (Forex). But basically to trading stock or bitcoin you need basic trading knowledge like technical analysis, charts analysis.... and i think bitcoin trading now is easier stock trading, the profit which give from bitcoin trading is also higher but to trading bitcoin you need have psychologically stable because price fluctuations is very large.

Yes, It is more similar to Foreign exchange  and usually main trades can be done by BTC/altcoin or ETH/ALtcoin, of course there are some who offers USD? BTC ETH  LTC. You can also notice that price from other exchange may differ from other exchanges, which if you are fast and good you could take advantage of.

Technical analysis has the same concept. You can use FIB, EMA, MA candlesticks etc. but predicting it is actually harder. Also volatility is way different. In this market you can get a gain of 50% within minutes but also you may see your self getting a loss in minutes as well.

With stocks you can see right away if the fundamentals are actually BS. With Crypto specially with ICO sometimes it is hard to predict if it is a shitcoin, you need to do an extensive research if you are going to invest in ICO.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will survive in "cashless society" ?? on: March 01, 2018, 01:45:25 AM
Yes it will. It has been years that countries are mostly using electronic money/debit card/ credit card.

The reason Bitcoin will survive is because of it's characteristic that make it attractive to people, decentralization and privacy.

Even if we are living in absolute zero paper money and everything is digital it is still controlled by a few people.

Also we all know the hassle in creating a bank account or even sending money using paypal or western union, specially if you are sending a large amount.

The real question should be if we are in a cashless society do we still need FIAT.

230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $70000 Lost, Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple on: February 28, 2018, 06:24:44 AM
I do not think that it will have some effect on the market. He mentioned that he was a victim of fraud. I hope you have some link it will be an interesting read.

Anyways a computer genius like Wozniak the real inventor of Mac, was a victim of fraud/scam. People should be more vigilant because this fraudsters are getting creative everyday to take our coins.

231  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Miners vs Traders on: February 28, 2018, 06:20:26 AM
It is really wrong to compare because they are totally different.

Also there is a factor on how much is the capital for both.  For mining it will also depend on the country you are mining from because electricity cost differs from each country.

Miners more or less has a stable income because most likely their income are the same every month (taking about earned bitcoin not dollars).

Traders will depend on who is behind the computer, really skilled traders can double or triple their capital in a day/weeks time.

232  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it digital gold? on: February 27, 2018, 04:04:33 AM
Yes I think it is here are the few similarities of them.

They are both scarce: there are limited amount of gold that can be mined in the world. Bitcoin is also limited and the more mined coins the harder it will be in the future.

They are both great assets to invest. Although more traditional investor will choose gold,Bitcoin is still a wise choice because on the years past bitcoin have only shown an uptrend.

Advantage of bitcoin is you can send the money right away unlike gold that usually it will be check because gold can be counterfeited and bitcoin can not.

233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin backed down on: February 26, 2018, 07:28:12 AM
It seems that you are panicking just trust the technology. This is just a small dip and possibly the $8000 or $9000 support level will be tested again. Just take adavantage of this dips instead of worrying that bitcoin will die.
234  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the Bitcoin price after five years? on: February 24, 2018, 03:59:36 AM
As we all know no one can predict it. If we are optimistic we may believe McAfee that it will reach a million dollars, But as we all know bitcoin is just another product of blockchain technology. There is a possibility that a new technology might show up and eclipse Bitcoin as the number one coin. Let's just hope for the best that bitcoin is going to stay even after five years.
235  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this basically just another way to make money? on: February 24, 2018, 03:35:14 AM
Yes because as of now we have no choice because Bitcoin is not yet widely accepted, most of the time we still need to use FIAT if we are going to buy something. Blockchain technology is not yet fully realized. If Bitcoin/crypto is widely accepted then that will change, but i do not think that this will happen in the near future.
It may take while before we see this happening but I think it will we just need to be patient.

237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin still exist in your country? on: February 23, 2018, 06:09:13 AM
Our country is Bitcoin friendly as one of the major wallet coin.ph was recognized by our government. Also they officially recognized bitcoin as a legit currency.

I think the next step for them is trying to tax crypto currency gains which i have mixed emotions.

238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: trying to figure out the ups and downs of bitcoin on: February 23, 2018, 06:06:00 AM
Well that is not how trading works.

What you are saying will never happen in any trading market.

I have heard that a company is planning to have a bond using Bitcoin, if that is actually true then you can get some bonds on that company and there will be a lock in period.
239  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know before the Dump? on: February 23, 2018, 05:58:51 AM
Unless you have some psychic power to see the future then you will not know when there will be a dump. The best thing to do is try to predict it by using your technical analysis, of course it is not certain but at least by time you will be better on your prediction.

Since you mentioned you invested on ICO and if you are day trading then make sure you have a target price and stop loss. Sell the coins that reach your target price or stop loss.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ICO or buy BTC? on: February 22, 2018, 04:03:09 AM
I think it would be better to invest in ICO, but you have to learn a lot first. especially learning to analyze an ICO that has good potential

Always we have to analyse before investing into any ICO because it will take some to get our coins
Find out the best which is more reputable and give more profit to us because if you buy Bitcoin in the present it cannot give much profit.

Exactly although investing in ICO can be more profitable always be careful with some ICO who just want to scam people.

Bitcoin is the king of crypto you can still make profit , it will just depends on the timing.

For ICO it has a lot of work, you need to do more research when investing in ICO, check who are the team behind the coins.

You can start researching here at the forum as there are a lot of coins that has great potential in the future.
