141  Economy / Economics / Re: Best Bitcoin Credit Card on: February 05, 2018, 03:09:06 PM
So lately i decided to possibly get a credit card to spend some money if needed or wanted. Are there any suggestions which one is the best in terms of security and mostly in terms of anonymity?

I haven't heard anything about this Bitcoin credit cards. Is there really one? I am a bit curious on how this credit card will work, can someone enlighten me? What if the value of the bitcoin changed when the time you used it compared to when you're going to pay for the credit you used? (maybe it goes up or down) and another thing, is there still a transaction fee for this?  Grin Grin Grin

143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we survive without Bitcoin? on: February 04, 2018, 12:01:02 PM
We survived our everyday life even before bitcoin existed. Some of us here (like me) 5 years ago, we are living our life without bitcoin and it's not that bad because we're focused on other things. Maybe some of us is too busy on their own business, making money in other way, etc. If by any chance bitcoin disappeared, We can still continue living the way we used to be. Its just that if you're the type of person who's dependent on bitcoin, you'll be having a hard time adjusting again. It will take time but eventually, you'll do it.

146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gambling as investment? on: January 25, 2018, 06:14:53 PM
These are known as ponzi scams, do NOT participate in HYIP and doubler "opportunities", often they will pay out if you get in and out early enough, but after some time they become unsustainable and then will exit with a large amount, actualizing the scam.

will take note of this, very much appreciated. thank you! I gotta be careful on where to invest. lol
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gambling as investment? on: January 25, 2018, 06:11:58 PM
So here I have a friend who's inviting me here on the said gambling investment. It's just simple, you'll send your bitcoin (investment on any amount) on that person then he's going to play using the money collected. After 7 days,  your investment will be doubled and the money will be sent back to you after deducting the trans fee. There is a chance of losing but if your money loses, you'll. Be given a 10% refund.

Someone already tried this? Safe or not??

I think you are talking about ponzis here. Ponzis are usually run by a person who collects the money and tries to invest in some places, if he gets a good return, he will share the profit with the investors and if he doesn't, he will simply run away. Unless you know that person personally, don't expect to receive even 10% refund. This is the riskiest investment for any market, be it crypto or fiat. So if anyone is trying to pull funds in the name of gambling investment, you should report that in "Scam Accusations" sub-forum so that a proper action can be taken against such people. Please note, that bitcointalk doesn't support such kind of activities here.

thank you for the info, recently I asked them a few questions on how would the gambling go, or should i say "how will our money will get doubled?" he keeps on telling me that its just gambling and it is as simple as playing using his luck. Now I'm more enlightened on what maybe the possible outcome of this such business after a few months or maybe just weeks? btw Im here just to ask for opinions about this investment. nothing to complain about

152  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you really make money on Forex? on: January 21, 2018, 02:52:05 PM
I invested once on forex, around november last 2017. It was indeed a good investment. I earned almost double of the money I invested. Now we already stopped because my friend told me that it's going down (i have no idea what going down he means) but you can try and see for yourself.

154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: January 18, 2018, 01:40:48 PM
for sure it will die when everyone sells their bitcoins (that is likely impossible to happen) and no one buys again. But selling all of it will cause its price to go down and will cause the investors to buy bitcoins and hold it til it goes back to its average value  Grin
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why every coin dumping now? I am losing huge money on: January 17, 2018, 03:02:09 PM
dont sell your coins, dont panic. It will cause you disaster Grin just wait for the coins to get back on its average value, there's something goin on but im sure it wont take long.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: alll coin going down. what should we do? on: January 17, 2018, 01:54:14 PM
dont panic and then sell your btc, just wait for it and it will recover it's value! I read some post that it is usual every start of the year that the coins values are goin down and then goes up when the year is ending. just invest in other altcoins, this is the good time to buy some  Grin
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: life of a trader on: January 16, 2018, 03:32:19 AM
it's just as simple as learning how to manage your time wisely, don't check it every minute or two. don't get paranoid over the value of your coins or money. If you're a full time trader and don't work, you can focus. But if you have a job, then try to balance your job with trading  Grin Grin
158  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How do I identify genuine mining opportunities? on: January 16, 2018, 03:28:42 AM
i invested on this particular site which offers a ROI in just ten days! imagine having to return your investment in just 10 days and after that, it still continues to mine. Now think about is, is it good to be true? don't get hooked up on such thing as high ROI in short time frame etc. try to weigh the facts of a real mining sites
159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: January 16, 2018, 03:24:07 AM
i know some process where you can buy bitcoin and pay thru banks, but not buying bitcoin directly on banks. I doubt that they'll be opening the trade of bitcoin, it's a threat to them because it might replace them maybe sooner or later...  Huh Huh Huh Huh Shocked
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can I make much money mining Bitcoins? on: January 15, 2018, 10:05:13 AM
there's so many big mining farm now a days. If you're up against them and you're only mining using your own mining rig with a minimum number of gpu's, well I guess it's not surprising that you're getting a hard time in mining bitcoins.
