2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's The Easiest Way To Trade BTC To Other Altcoins? on: June 15, 2017, 05:40:50 AM
I prefer Bittrex.com  - better selection of coins and less lag than poloniex
3  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Alternatives to Poloniex on: May 23, 2017, 03:14:18 PM

From what I've heard bittrex seems like the only reliable option, but some users are concerned about their site security, because of a hack last year, so I don't know if it is a good option or not. For short time trading the lag is an issue, but if you try to make long term trading then it should be ok to continue using Poloniex.

You're confusing Bittrex with Bitfinex.  Bittrex was not hacked and they know how to properly scale their infrastructure to handle increased loads. They will also be rolling out a new interface from what I hear, but their main priority is meeting demand and security.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is bittrex alright ? on: May 14, 2017, 08:45:07 PM
Bittrex is just fine but their user base has increased rapidly lately and they are catching up with support requests.  I recommend dropping by their slack if needed.
5  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex vs. Bittrex during a Crash on: May 09, 2017, 10:45:11 PM
Bittrex worked fine.  It helps to use an exchange  like bittrex run by professionals that know how to build enterprise level service with the ability to scale with future growth.  I would not say this is the case with all other exchanges.  Trading volumes have been increasing on bittrex and I expect liquidity there will improve as other exchanges falter.

Actually most sites offer paid listings to expedite the process, so far his info is accurate.

Uh...no..

There is no such thing as a paid bittrex listing.  Step one to getting listed - don't be shit

Well Ben, I think you screwed up your legitimacy. Your previous posts you said you have already paid for bittrex. Remember ?

incorrect, i said there will be a listing (payed) implying it will be a payed for listing, to guarantee an addition, i do believe they still review it though and decide whether to add.

Regards,
Ben.

Another portion of the lie from developers.
There will be no hardfork voting next release.

We should wait 2 months for another release and then it will take at least 3-4 months for voting (if it will ever happen).

SCAM ALERT - Developers are lying to us and they want to hype the project until February 2018 when they will be able to dump their premine.

All these puzzles and rewards have only one purpose - fool us and force us to buy high.

Congratulations, jy-p! A well-played game. I hope you will be happy with my 8 BTC, which I lost in this project.

Let's think about this a little.  Jy-p is bankrolling this project with Comany 0 to the tune of 60-70k a month.  Do you really thing he's putting in so much time/effort/money for 8 lousy btc?  With the initial airdrop, they gave away what amounted to hundreds of btc.  With crypto projects its key to have appropriate expectations.  If you were expecting mass gains overnight and are upset that didn't happen, you may be leveraging more than you should.  Assuming you will not miss 8 btc over the next year, I submit that you will be happy with your return as the devs continue to toil away.

But lets look at where you stand currently.  So you spent 8 btc on decred.  Great! Did you know you can grow the value of that much more than any bank account can give you? I suggest you look into staking with one of the many stake pools available.  I've been very happy with my "interest" earned regardless of the price of decred.  So check out the pools available to you listed at the bottom of dcrstats.com and give it a try!

After the fork, diff is 6.025T. I'm migrating my rigs to EXP. Same diff and Block Reward, highest price.

I think you need to wait a few hundred blocks to get a more accurate picture of the network post fork.

Been busy recently, didn't catch up with what's happening here. So my balance of Jumbucks on Bittrex will be automatically swapped to Ubiq, right?

Correct.  All JBS balances that were on bittrex will be converted to UBQ
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][UBQ] Ubiq - Smart Contracts For An Automated World on: January 26, 2017, 06:28:56 AM
why bittrex say JBS balances will be swapped at a rate of 1 JBS to 10 UBQ, I think JBS balances will be swapped at a rate of 10 JBS to 1 UBQ.
Where do you think is right?

Both Bittrex and this ANN indicate the coins will be swapped at 1 JBS to 10 UBQ.  If you have 100 JBS, post swap you will have 1000.

This is cool to watch - a thread of known Twitter groupies, some with newbie accounts.  Grin You know the drill.  Grin Grin Grin

Was mildly interested when I saw mention of modification to the ethereum code.  Now that the thread has its first troll, I'm intrigued.

I'm here - where are the big news about GUI, website, release Cheesy?

It's only 02:45 AM in Hawaii, we don't want to wake them up with news during the night.

Is someone central to the team located in Hawaii?
