1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]DEFT First crypto utilizing the balloon hash, new memory hard algo on: June 19, 2018, 04:25:28 PM
Some people didn't realize that I released new optimized miner.
285h/s -> 414h/s on my i7-3770k cpu Smiley
Ryzen cpu's can reach more than 10kh/s

I updated https://beastpool.com already.

You can now mine on my pool with official miner without any additional params. Smiley

And I set up 0% fee Smiley

Hope you like that change.
Happy mining.

I see that on my pool https://beastpool.com/ some ppl use official miner
don't forget to add -f65536 to params
BUT IT'S JUST FOR OFFICIAL MINER

Code:
cpuminer.exe -a balloon -o stratum+tcp://beastpool.com:6533 -u WALLET_ADDR -p c=DEFT -f65536

If you are using beastpool miner you don't need that param
Saying this just to clarify.
Happy mining  Smiley
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ELI] Elicoin (CPU mining only) EXCHANGE AVAILABLE! on: May 20, 2018, 01:26:15 AM
I feel upset cause the official pool still does not work for me. On the remaining pools, there are very few blocks and very unstable work Huh

What exactly is not working on official pool?

MainPool is NOT interested in low-power-miners so they set stratumdiff to 1 instead of 0.1 like other pools...
its very sad ...

Even price is going down and down ...

If it has diff < 1, anyone is able to fake shares on such pool.

What do you mean about fake shares?
0.1 Diff is fine for this algo.

We updated our pool. Now start diff is 0.1, better payout, and anti flood protection.

https://github.com/BeastPool/cpuminer-argon2d link for source Tongue, I'll update release source aswell, didn't know it's empty.
Thanks for that!

I got it to compile with regular repo code - however, about 15% SLOWER than wallet miner and your precompiled binary.
Changing algo options (-mno-sha etc.) didn't change anything, always ~46kH/s (precompiled & wallet do 53-55) on a Ryzen 1700.

What compile options did you use?

Check winbuild-cross.sh file.
Which version of mingw/gcc did you use?

Someone should quote this post on first page, this will really help miner who want to mining but hesitate because no pool

anyway this miner slower or better than wallet miner?? thank you

I'd also like to know if the miner is faster than the wallet miner

I have in average 20kh/s in wallet and 23-24 kh/s with external Tongue.

I confirm this, extarnal miner is around 10% faster for me too so better use it instead the wallet one.

Its HPS might be faster but would love to know if you are finding more blocks as a result. Personally, I've seen a jump in the number of blocks found by my wallet miners overnight.
No HPS increase on Linux with the precompiled binary. Also roughly same blocks (after ~8h).

A bit of caution: couldn't compile miner from github sources on Ubuntu 16.04. Release source code only contains empty readme file.
