1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hangman of the altcoins? on: January 07, 2018, 10:58:37 PM
The news about the LN (lighting network) on main network of Bitcoin are connected with your its current high movement and with the altcoins correction?

Can be the LN the hangman for alts?

As I've said elsewhere, I think it will take significant market share from those altcoins that are nothing more than payment protocols with faster confirmations and lower on-chain fees. That's a significant sector of coins.

A well-functioning Lightning Network could make coins like Litecoin obsolete if they don't re-brand with new use cases. I suspect that many altcoin developers will re-brand and pursue features that Bitcoin lacks: governance structure, node incentives (LN rewards for typical users are likely to be very low), alternative exponential scaling mechanisms like tree chains, consensus sharding and DAGs, and other full-service use cases like blockchain anonymity and decentralized exchange.

Yeah i suspect too that some alts will become obsolete, mainly those that just offer more speed in transations and low fees. I just do not know what the developers of these alts will do about it.

If LN - with Bitcoin - works as expected, it will be surely the "hangman" for a lot of altcoins:

- Those that promise scaling with unsustainable models (like simple big blocks - BCH, I'm looking at you Wink )
- Many of those that are marketing themselves as an alternative to Bitcoin because of the "high fees" there, but have nothing else to offer.

But altcoins that have interesting and sound technical proposals that solve real problems and can't simply be adopted by Bitcoin, won't get affected, I think. Also altcoins with sound and novel DAG- and "chain-based"* scaling solutions (child-chains, pegging mechanisms for sidechains etc.) would still have a chance to succeed, because off-chain transactions are, in some aspects, inferior to on-chain transactions (they can be reverted in certain circumstances).

*"chain-based" scaling, for me, are models where the traditional transaction model - a transaction is confirmed by a validator that creates "blocks" - is preserved. It's different than "on-chain-scaling" - this word, for me, only implies models where everything occurs at the "main chain".

good answer guy, thx for your contribution!  Wink

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2018 is the altcoins year? on: January 02, 2018, 05:50:07 PM
In the firs place, bitcoin experienced a good growth rate in 2017. The drop in December is insignificant for me considering the rise from 1200$ to now around 13000$. Why altcoins getting better place on market? First Developers are doing a great work and secondly some people think it is a good idea to invest in altcoins which haven't experienced big growths. Imagine using 12000$ for 1btc while the same can give you over 1000000 0f an altcoin:D
despite this, I still choose btc as my primary wallet coin to hold

I agree with you about the increase that Bitcoin had in 2017 and its decline in December is actually very low compared to its appreciation over the year. But I think we will not see a valuation as big as last year.

I also believe in the BTC, I still do not have 1 BTC to insure, I do day trade in Poloniex and I practice a good method that gives me good profits and I believe that I will reach 1 BTC soon and from there I will increase my amount even more to hold.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2018 is the altcoins year? on: January 02, 2018, 05:03:26 PM
As far as more immediate returns are concerned, I think yes, 2018 may be altcoins' year. We probably will not see very wild and sudden swings in bitcoin price unlike last year, but investing in the right alts may yield returns higher than 200%. So if we are talking about making an investment and making money, altcoins are a great alternative this year.

I also believe that we will not see the same movement in the price of Bitcoin compared to last year.

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / 2018 is the altcoins year? on: January 02, 2018, 04:28:58 PM
hello everyone, in december of past year the bitcoin had your historical fall and some people's sayed which the reason was a "tree shaking," others said that increasing fees and delayed transactions made users migrate to other alternatives using others cryptos. Actually some cryptos like Ripple, Stellar, Litecoin and others experienced a good appreciation in this period. Some cryptos offer low fees, more speed in the transations and more facility in low valor transations.

Within this context what you attribute to the recent fall of Bitcoin? 2018 is the altcoins year?
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to trade efficiently? on: December 21, 2017, 02:03:52 PM
I know that it varies from people to people and their strategies but there must be some important and basic points which people tend to forget all the time .
Of course I don't want you to reveal your trading strategy but some good tips that would really help me out.

For you be a good trader, focus in the grafics analisys, know very well the indicators and haved discipline.

After that you can make your own strategy. my strategy is trusting in the mathematics, compound interest.

that strategy possibilities me to grow 34% of my initial fund in just 30 days, but you can make a little more if you want...

One time i got 80% in 30 days.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Capacity of one Block and the future of Bitcoin on: December 14, 2017, 12:13:17 AM
Do you believe wich the capacity of 1 MB of one Block can be a serious problem for Bitcoin in the next years?
Or the Bitcoin can " survive " without greats problems until the end of overall mining?
10  Economy / Lending / Loans in Bitcoin on: December 13, 2017, 11:59:59 PM
Someone know if exist a way of get one loan in Bitcoin? Something like a loan in bank where i can get the loan and pay after of a time with fees.

I only need 0.08 BTC sometimes even a person can make this loan as well as a loan shark. Does anyone know an alternative or do you know anyone who offers this service?
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: December 08, 2017, 02:00:34 PM
I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin?  is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?

I'm try too  Cheesy

And I believe that the Rockchild family and all those behind the financial system have tried to boycott Bitcoin, I say try because it will be very difficult, because Bitcoin is a large decentralized network (not counting mining) in which people "ordinary" ones will not let the traditional financial system take over again. We are in a new age and nothing can stop the natural transformation.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Volatility of Bitcoin on: December 03, 2017, 03:06:38 AM
If the owner of a store decide received only Bitcoin how payment of his products, how him can define the prices without forget of volatility of Bitcoin?
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what can be happen with the planet after " 21 million Bitcoin limit"? on: December 02, 2017, 02:43:16 AM
You don't need to panic about that we would be dead by the time comes the last block that would be mined will be  at " 2120+" as for our generation there is nothing to worry about.

Nothing would happen to the plant when the last block is mined still the same earth.

Please don't make a thread with just a few words on it. it's kinda useless to be honest. (this is just a feed back for you to learn)
i like to be honest, why the fluid of nature can be pass me without block. Wink
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what can be happen with the planet after " 21 million Bitcoin limit"? on: November 30, 2017, 06:35:56 PM
If you get all 21 million bitokoynov, nothing special with the planet will not happen. By that time bitkoyn will change a lot, for certain it will have new features and capabilities. It is possible that bitkoyn will change so much that from it there will be only a name. If the upper limit of bitcoin extraction remains at the same level, then the bitcoin will basically perform the function of a value store.

What the hell are those bitkoyn and bitokoynov you're talking about?
6 months on this forum and you can't spell bitcoin right?

Someone have on idea?

Why do you care about ?
By the time the last satoshi will be mined we are all going to be dead for sure. Unless futurama becomes real.

And more important, why do you think bitcoin has anything to do with this planet's fate? More than the dollar, facebook, amazon or dolphins?

Maybe that was lost in translation. And by translation I mean Google Translate.

Since we're here, it could be interesting to discuss the hypothetical situation of Bitcoin fully mined. Would the price go up because of the lack of inflation or would the price go down because it can't be mined anymore? Maybe a fork takes over.

That's a great question, once fully mined and the 21 million attained, if inflation is not somehow eradicated and some other alt(s) haven't taken over the day-to-day transaction workload, I don't see how it couldn't continue to increase in buying power.  This upper limit of coins is such an amazing concept compared to our world-wide acceptance of inflation and ever-increasing money supply.  Then when we're all 200 years old, we'll only be talking about Satoshis...one full Bitcoin???  Come on, who ever could even conceive of that... Smiley

thx for your contribution.
"Then when we're all 200 years old, we'll only be talking about Satoshis...one full Bitcoin???"  maybe even before 200 years Smiley
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what can be happen with the planet after " 21 million Bitcoin limit"? on: November 30, 2017, 04:59:42 PM
In 2020
the difficulty will split == worth less reward per bock (scarcity drives price/value)
in 2020 we get 2020 vision
no more FED federal reserve (we will be rid of the Rothschild family by late 2018)
right now they stole a sub and are being hunted world wide by us navy and russia china military
after the banking cartel collapse and lightning network kick in
we will return to food being cheap services etc will become 98% cheaper!
and we will see lots of technology being released that does not even need money!
vertually everyone will be able to live for free
and bitcoin will only ever be needed when we work together in contract based agreements!

i liked your answer.
i believe in the real freedom and for me the Bitcoin can be one way for this.

"we will be rid of the Rothschild family by late 2018" That is a very good think!!!

How do you think i should offer this?

18  Economy / Lending / Re: Supply energy for mining with low cost on: November 28, 2017, 04:04:42 AM
I understand there are many scams, not my case. I just want to show that it's possible to do it. In a relatively short time a digital currency was a scammer thing, to this day there are people who do not believe in Bitcoins. I just want to contribute with what I know, digital coins need mining and mining needs energy. I can solve the energy problem, but I need help.

If you do not believe everything okay. I just want to be part of the planet change without any pretentions of fooling anyone.

I do not have corporations, industry, shareholders or whatever ...

I have knowledge and willingness to contribute to the network as a whole.

Forgive me if my topic looks scam, instead of offending me they could suggest something so I can introduce it in a different way so as not to scare anyone .... rsrsrsrs

Anyway, gratitude for the criticisms made me see that I need to improve the way I talk about it.

I will not give up on this project because it will benefit many people.

How can I submit guarantees? any suggestion?
19  Economy / Lending / Supply energy for mining with low cost on: November 27, 2017, 01:51:13 AM
I'm physicist and i have one project for supply energy for mining based in vibration.

I'm from Brazil and here have one magnetic anomaly called magnetic anomaly south atlantic wich can be use for get energy of particles wich enter inside atmospher through of magnetic lines more down.

through of a smart designer is possible to connect some machines which will supply energy enough for great mining and to reduce the cost.

i really have the knowledge but to start i need some Bitcoins. Just 2 BTC's i can start to build this machines and show to everyone which really work.
i want create one mining station where profits will be divided by investors, like shareholders receive their dividends.

What are 2 BTC's? many people have much more than that and here in Brazil Bitcoin has a value in which it is possible to buy all the necessary equipment to show that it works.

If there is someone who wants to help me with any amount below my wallet:
