Dear awesome community,

First and Foremost, I would like to thank everyone for sharing your thoughts and feelings regarding Swissborg. Really appreciate it.

There's no doubt that the CHSB token price has had a rough start. There is ALSO no doubt that the token price is highly undervalued based on the growth potential of the company, the wealth management platform and tech products currently being developed. As many experienced people in this chat mentioned, almost every ICO took a hard hit during the bear market from February onwards and when you look at companies that have been listed for around 4 months, very few generate 2X 3X 10X unless there is A) A massive pump and dump due to excessively high discounts during pre-sales or even ICOs at times or B) Blockchain protocol companies. The latter tends to really do well even only a few months after an ICO. Many of these blockchain protocols just have a strong white-paper with scientific formulas and persuasive buzzwords (interoperability, 200 zillion transactions per second, potential for side-chains etc...).

The point is for all the awesome members who mentioned Swissborg being a long-term project, there is absolutely no doubt that we will deliver for you and it's really just a matter of time.

With regards to the Telegram Banning, I would like to share with everyone the clear rules viewable in the pinned post:

1. No insults, arguments or personal attacks.
2. No fake information or accusations without backed evidence.
3. No stickers or flooding the channel with ads
4. No irrelevant/touchy topic discussions
5. Please be respectful with fellow community members

On top of this, even people who swear and use really dirty language get a friendly warning which means a second and even sometimes third chance before being banned.
Perhaps, we may be a bit strict depending on the scope you look from, but in order to keep a healthy vibe for the community that believes in the project as much as we do, we need to control these elements and potential FUD.

Regarding the scam threats, we are more active than most projects by giving live 1 hour Q&As directly with the CEO and Co-founder for the entire community every other week.
Speaking of which, next Q&A will be Tuesday May 1st, @ 6:30 PM CET time so please make sure to follow our youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_Jyx7gJXh3yHFxZSJIlIhQ

ohhhhhh, avoid those ICO rating websites like the PLAGUE!

They all have an incentive structure where icos can pay them for prominent display or favorable "reviews".

If there is one that is truly unbiased and just posts info, then I would honestly like to know of one, but I've yet to find one.

If you want some good advice on ico's, why not trust the person closest to you?  Yourself!

nothing beats your own due diligence.
If you are not sure what makes a good investment than just look it up.  There are tons of articles and posts that talk about what a good investment is.

Here are the basics:
-Research the development team to see if they are legitimate, real people, with real professional experience in what they are doing
-look at the conditions of the ico, how many will be sold, what is the hard cap, what percentage goes to pre-sale vs. crowdsale vs. to the devs, how long it is etc.
-Read the whitepaper and roadmap carefully, does it seem plausible and professional?
-if they have a product, test it out for yourself.

You're absolutely right. We have been approached by many ICO review websites asking for astronomical fees and the higher you pay the better the review in many cases. Exactly, the reason I posted this question. Would like to work with the reliable only

Hello Crypto Community,

I would love to hear your thoughts on which are the best ICO rating websites based on the 3 following criteria:

1) Popularity/ clicks  Smiley
2) Quality/ actual due diligence and depth of evaluation criteria.  Huh
3) Personal favorite  Grin

Thanks again for your support!

5  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Blockchain technology vs. MySQL or other decentralized databases on: December 04, 2017, 04:04:24 PM

Very useful thanks!

I think one of the disadvantages of using a public Blockchain, would be giving up the control over your project. Most of these centralized databases give some degree of control to the developers over their own projects. You buy proprietary software like MySQL and you adapt your inputs and data to your needs. While you own the software, you have some control over your project.

The public Blockchain can go into any direction and you are dependant on external factors, like miners mining your inputs/blocks and spam attacks etc. <Things you cannot control >

This is only valid for public blockchains. When one compare SQL and BlockChain I assume that centralization to a certain degree is still an option.

I really like this graph:

I am aware of ICONOMI and Crypto20 which are both PASSIVE Index funds but are there any other ones?
None of them seem to have the a team with as much investment experience as Swissborg. https://swissborg.com/en/

Swissborg is a wealth management platform offering ACTIVELY managed funds by a team with 90+ years of experience from private banking all the way to wall street.

A lot of devs I know say that most of the companies in the crypto space could only use MySQL and do not necessarily need blockchain.  Shocked

Some even say that decentralized databases are better than blockchain in many ways. What's your take? Why or why not?  Huh
