I would increase the share of BTC in your portfolio. Now it looks risky. Remember , if BTC goes up very high - altcoins will for sure fall down deep, at least the most of your coins from the list. So , if you have 30-40% of BTC these situations are not dangerous for you. You always able to buy cheap alts with BTC. You will have more coins as results. CHeers!
That's right, but I think minimum 50% in BTC would be better. Depends on you, if you can stand the situation when BTC pumps and alts fall. I disagree here. I myself don't hold BTC at all. When BTC on the rise I do sell few altcoins just to prevent any more losses then after price stabilize I jump straight back to alts again. These falls are only temporarily and usually doesn't last long. Week hands get shaken and whales make millions of USD. |

LTC is a safe bet for investment but I don't think it's gonna perform that well. 2018 will be the year for ICOs and new exiting altcurrencies to shine. The year of FOMO no doubt. These new competitors of BTC and LTC will attract investors and divide the community. I myself looking for unique projects those are solving current blockchain, security and mining problems with an easy to use for public solutions.

CyberMiles, SingulairyNET and Envion. Cybermiles claims to be the first mobile app to accept payment in BTC, ETH and CMT for their 5miles customers. Envion going to be listed as a new token on HitBTC just after finishing ICO. SinglulatyNET has been distributed and being KYC audited internally. These are great projects with a potential growth.

SingularityNET is going to be releasing investors tokens in the coming days and will be listed on Etherdelta soon after but you gotta be quick because is an insane demand for it already. CyberMiles my second bet due to its already existing customer base in the USA. CMT can be purchased on Binance or Huobi.
Envion's ICO is still on if you are interested in buying some profitable coins. ENV should be listed by mid January on HitBTC.

I would say SingularityNET. There was very successful ICO and been raised $36M in 66 seconds. Although there was a 5 ETH cap-lock for the first 24h. The team at Singularity reports that the crowdfunding was capped after receiving $361 million in investor interest on its whitelist from more than 20,000 previous investors. It has been 3814 wallet created with a 12k followers on Telegram.

Hi folks, I am new to cryptos and this forum, please don't crucify me.  I had a few questions if you could please give me some insight. With so many altcoins and high volatility/uncertainty, do you keep your coins in the exchange you bought them just in case you need to sell them quickly and for convenience? I am using Binance at the moment (graduated from Coinbase/Gdax). If you store in your PC wallet or any other type and you need to sell quickly, you can lose a lot of money if there is any glitch or delay when transferring back to the exchange, so I was wondering about this. Also, how do yo know who to trust when you see someone talking favorably about a particular coin? It looks to me that everyone and their mother are pumping to then dump without telling anyone so they can maximize profits, so can you even trust those groups I have read you guys follow? Any suggestions for a reliable group to follow? Thanks a lot. I keep as little as 10-20% of my portfolio on Binancle although I was about to loose my funds three times so far on other exchanges like E-BTC. Lucky me I never keep a lots of coins on an exchange. Don't trust any of these pump and dump groups. They are all scumbags. If you are following charts for a while you will learn yourself how to market behaves. Studying charts can help you to understand more when to invest or sell a currency. Following projects closely can help you to act quickly before the crowd does. For example Envion just had an announcement about listing their token on HitBTC after ICO finished this January. News like this can have a huge impact to its value. Patient is also crucial to build a portfolio in crypto-land. |

My God, we have been waiting this coin launch almost half year in 2017. I hope we can get some real good news in this Q1 2018. Everyone who involved in ico or bounty are having big expectation for EON.
Now the one that i prepare is collecting money to buy more EON to run masternode. Good luck guys.
Q1 is going up to 1st April. There is long way. How much EON is requried for masternode? I doubt they will make us wait until April and sensing something close by Feb end or march.The requirement for masternode is less in my opinion and would increase further as we see many new investors join the project once we have the mainnet launched. We have been expecting this last year 2017 and we didn't see the launch so I am sure the team will make more effort to have it in the first quarter of year 2018, that time we will be able to see the good value of our EONs and we will benefited by our patience. Since timeline has been shifted the devs are strict with time management. We are entering the third phase of the blockchain testnet in mid January including exchange beta testing which will be done simultaneously. We've been waiting over six months patiently with a hope of 10 x ROI at launch. To the moon Exscudo!!!!! |

Congratulations! It's always nice to see new successful investors. I constantly looking for promising ICO-s and every time I'm about to hit 4 digits I go and reinvest. It worked for me so far although not every ICO was profitable. Keep up your good work and hopefully 2018 will lead you to 5 digits.

XRP is not safe investment for a long term. Lots of traders lost a lot of money dealing with ripple. I myself stay away from it and looking for more advanced altcoins instead. Many other great projects to focus on like Envion, SingularityNET, EOS, IOTA and few more.  |

Good for you mate. I rather skip that boat. Viacoin is a PoW Scrypt algorithm coin. Nothing exiting to be honest. It's been listed on exchanges over three years and 24h trading volume is only 300 BTC with a 105M marketcap. It wasn't performing very well so far why do you think it's gonna change?

Unfortunately, Exscudo was my worse investment in 2017. They shifted their timelines many times. I've been waiting for EON tokens for 6 months now. It supposed to be distributed in the first quarter of 2018 which is kinda hard to believe anymore.

I buy low and sell high. I do like to keep few from the top 20 and a couple from the newly listed altcurrenies. Im not a daily trader so I wait out until one goes up 30%+ before sale. It usually works especially if there is a pump with an 80%+ of an increse. If there is an upcoming announcement I wait that out first. Example CyberMiles claims to be to first mobile e-commerce platform to accept cryptocurrenies like BTC,ETH and CMT by the end of January 2018. At current stage it has a 38% price increase and my belief is gonna get a lot more due to speculation.

Many new millionaires will show up through altcurrencies in 2018. I do believe it is possible. Not long ago Ripple or ETH were cheap as chips. If a project offers something new and can pull it off will be the next winner. Example Envion with mobile green mining farm infrastructure, SingulatyNET for Artificial General Intelligence agent for AI-s or Exscudo with its own DPoS EON blockchain ecosystem. Projects like this could make anybody rich easily.

I wouldn't put all my eggs in one basket although ETH is a good bet for investment. Casper hardfolk to shift from PoW to PoS will have a positive impact on ETH no doubt. You should look out for others like Envion, SingularityNET, EOS or IOTA because each have something new to offer and attract investors. |
