Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in a wrong way

many beginner investors are too ambitious and impatient, so they are wrong in choosing coins to invest, for novice investors must know in advance the ins and outs of the coins you want to invest so as not to experience a large loss.
Agree, they only think of large profits in the short term without thinking about the risks involved. The risk here might be to lose a lot of money in a short time because it might be a scam project and lose competitiveness with others. Therefore always be careful when investing and don't expect too much profit. People are only greedy with profit alone and don't even see the risks they face, a beginner will definitely do this and ambitious what they want with these short-term benefits. Now many become shitcoin. Yeah I agree, beginners will definitely droll when they see a 10-20% ROI guarantee, and I bet they would put all of their assets without any hesitations and knowing the risk that it may bring but We can't take away that from them since they are new to crypto and very much prone into that kind of scheme.

I don't see any risk in investing in a new toke or coin coming out if the team and the project is promising and has the potentials to compete and be successful just like any other coins in the market. You have learn, research the potential project you want to invest into in order you not to lose any possible assets and don't regret just in case the projects does not do well.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop kill project?
|

I dont know what you think guys but i think airdrop and bounty kill the project let say after the project finish the ico all the bounty and airdrop hnter sell their coin/token , this make te price go low.Since all of bounty and airdrp hunter did not care about the project.
There is only few % of total supply of tokens being giving away from airdrops and bounty and how come it would be able to affect the price once the airdropers and bounty hunters sell of the tokens they are holding? There are many aspects why the price is go down, don't blame it all in hunters and airdrops.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl?
|
on: July 23, 2020, 02:57:30 PM

If I were an expert trading then I would rather choose Day Trading because I get to analyze and read the movements of the charts seconds by seconds then just place my entries and pull it out whenever I like but cons is that I have to be attentive in every market flows of a certain coin I invested in. What makes long term holding worry is that there is no certainty that coin would be as profitble as you expect that it think it would be, cause there are some cases that an specific coin remains stagnant after a long time.

ICO is not completely over there are some projects that still hold ICO but the outcome would probably not as good as it was during the big runs in 2017. Maybe investors have seen something in the projects the made them risk their money on it and hopefully the projects won't let them down.

This step by step is not for the investment purpose, but for the security advice for everyone who held their asset on cryptocurrency.
I believe @OP miss understanding between the topic and title thread, should change it, anyway this kind of advice we already talking about this a thousand times even there has some better explaining from some member if we compare it with this advice.
This advice is exclusively for newbies or those people who certainly know nothing about crypto. There are plenty of tips and learning materials they read and learn to educate themselves before venturing in this kind of business.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OneCoin scam promoters found dead!

on: July 20, 2020, 03:17:30 PM

I believe that these scammers should have been punished, but definitely not killed.
Value of life, punishment should be serve but not to the point of killing them. It was necessary to take away all their property/money and put them in jail so that no one else wanted to be a scammer
It can be done indeed, but to those who felt angry with them can't control and most likely will not be satisfied by getting only their wealth.
I also hope they will be punished, at least they will be in prison for their actions. From 2017 until now, I have seen a lot of scam projects but they did not have any problems, only investors lost money.
Again, punishment to life imprisonment can be serve or depends from the laws that governs this kind of illegal works. Perhaps the person behind the killings had kept so much hatred with these promoters to do that kind of horrifying act. Maybe he/trusted the person and put all his assets to invest in the project but it did turned out to be scam. But he/she should have apprehended and turned them over to authories in order to track down the project's CEO who once in for all the one to punished.

It was affected at first, when the pandemic broke out maybe because most of the investors got afraid to lose their investments because they saw this pandemic for a long run that might affect the not only world economy, other business ventures but crypto investments as well. But as we can see, it has bounced back and continue to be stable and hoping to make even more progress as we are continue to survive with this struggles.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me or there are others who have same thoughts?
|

Is it just me or others think same way? I mean are listed bounties intentionally using bounty campaigns to create hype and before the bounty is over they dump part the tokens making it lose value and make bounty hunters share what's left??? I'm kinda confused with bounty projects that are trading
Actually to dump is not the purpose of the bounty campaign. It is to spread awareness and if possible hype to the project. It is one of the marketing strategies of any business that opt to fund them through people's money, .a.k.a ICO, IEO, ITO, IPO, etc. The major reason why several projects get dumped the moment they get in exchange is that many of these projects offers discounts on investors. Like their regular price is x USD but they give it at the price of x/3. So who is in the right mind won't sell if they saw 2x 3x profit? Thus, dumps happen. Yeah I agree, being listed in any exchanges is big factor in a certain projects and it would add to hype if the team would create to hype it up and create promotional activities to attract to invest in the project. It would only go down to the executions of the team and how they would prosper and develop the projects into something that the community would benefit from.

He can say that because he's also a victim and the backdoor was the fault of twitter so I'm sure that Twitter will take all of the critics' word and admits their fault. I think this will tend to CZ think of reinventing something like Twitter and will make his own move to make that platform better. But if not, it's just about learning a lesson on Twitter's side and they have to strengthen their security and as much as they can, they should also invest to higher bounties for Cyber Security experts.
The hack just happened with the help of someone inside the twitter itself so I think they need to improve the administration access controls to the most trusted persons not just to everyone who is working there. And also I didn't found the twitter took all the critics here they remain silent to be honest that is why there is lot of different side discussion going on about these hacks. Yeah absolutely true, hackers will always strike at any given time anywhere in the world it just so happened that there was an crypto event during the attack that made it bigger, and having big company and personalitie names are being included will make twitter security will scrutinize heavily.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties managed by team themselves
|
on: July 19, 2020, 02:16:22 PM

Even if the project got bounty manager still they can't force the bounty team to pay the rewards for participants if they are refusing to do.Bounty manager is also need to be an important factor that everyone should consider but don't take it for granted, do your own research on the team as well.
There are some bounty managers who sell their reputation in order the get higher pay day. They even break his/own rules upon by request of core team of bounty he/she is handling so it does make any matter at all. Join in those who you know that are respectable and dedicated to his job in bringing qaulty projects for his/her hunters.
