I received some Gox btc, but is a fraction of how I had calculated it years ago. Everything on gox was BTC, I calculated I should receive 20% of that (I did not) I know that Kracken support (probably) has nothing to do with this, so I wll not try there.
I have saved the 90 Gox emails I have received over the last 10 years. I have my login/pw for claims.mtgox.com But it seems that it is down for maintenance. I can log into material.mtgox.com, but it is mostly documents from the past.
MTGOX Rehabilitation Claim Filing System
This website is temporarily down for maintenance.
Thank you for your patience. Please check back shortly.
Can anyone suggest other paths?

I got some Gox fractions of BTC back via Kracken. Much less than the 20% was supposed to be, and I can't see any BCH. Maybe I just need to wait a bit more......

Hi all, long time no log. Glad to see old and new ppl here.
I am mostly well, fugged up my knee in a minor car accident. Lost most of my BTC on an 'inside job' at a cloud provider. FBI does not seem to be very interested.
Gox should hopefully give me a pittance of what I once had.

JJG, I miss your (lengthy) discussions. I was here a little before you, I recall your sim swap loss. I think tech support has gotten better since then. No matter how tight the physical and technical aspects are, plain old social engineering can get to many humans. Even though it is a matter of inconvenience, if I am calling tech support for anything, I am glad to see them re-verify some of the basics, if the call is passed to someone upstream.
My loss was near-total. I had quit smoking, and DCA my cigarette expenses into BTC for ten years. I had a good job, and was already spending the cig money on killing myself slowly. I told myself for years, that even if BTC somehow got 51%-ed into nothing, I have still done a better thing for my life, by quitting smoking. I am fortunate that BTC let me pay off my mortgage, buy a couple of old vehicles, replace windows/doors in my old house. Too many people have debt until they are 100 years old, this is obviously not sustainable on the long-term.
When this happened, I was caught up in many emotions. That is when I disappeared here. I was so guilt-ridden, I didn't even feel I could read here. Now I am culling excess physical things from my life, selling what I can to keep buying BTC. I've got a few old guitars that I don't play, and a few old cars that I don't drive, so flipping them to BTC where I can. I am old, but hope I can live through another halving or two.
Now? I'm pretty good. I have a few aches and pains, go to the gym several mornings a week, but am healthier than I have been in years. Getting by on a small retirement. I live way out in the country. My wife and I love each other. If I had $MILLIONS that could not buy the good things, that I already have.
EDIT: Grand Funk 1974
I don't need a whole lot of money, I don't need a big fine car. I got everything that a man could want, I got more than I could ask for. I don't have to run around, I don't have to stay out all night. 'Cause I got me a sweet... a sweet, lovin' woman, And she knows just how to treat me right.
Well my baby, she's alright, Well my baby, she's clean out-of-sight. Don't you know that she's... she's some kind of wonderful.

Hi all, long time no log. I've missed you all (except for the idiots).
I had a life-changing BTC theft, I am a security-oriented kinduva guy. It's a long story, plz don't ask. Three-letter-agencies are involved.
I am also old, quit my job, etc.
The good part? I paid off 10 years of debt with BTC, fixed up my old house, bought a cool 2005 truck. The best part? I gave a $100 paper wallet to a family member. He reported that it was now $3k.
EDIT: I am trying to catch up on two years of posts. Good Stuff, all around!

@JJG, it's all been a long time, on the smoking. I'm probably cold on the exact numbers. Or I just may not want to say specifics here. I used to spend $200 a month smoking, so that was my DCA. I skipped a few times when Real Life called, needing me to spend some Real Money on life stuff.
I am in much better health now. I am blessed with good genes, and I spent too many years trying to kill myself slowly. I've emerged from smoking pretty well. I have some shortness of breath still, but it's getting better. I've lowered my blood pressure from "pop a cork" to below normal, consistently. I sleep like a baby now, I've lost 20 pounds.
I actively dislike cig smoke now.

I quit smoking for good by vaping. I was an 'accidental quitter'. I didn't want to quit, I loved to smoke. My wife is a cancer survivor, so I never smoked inside. I got tired of freezing in winter, so i started vaping so I could do it indoors.
Smoking is a complicated addiction. All of us smokers are physically addicted to nicotine, but the other various aspects hold different power, over different people.
Some want a big cloud on exhale (that needs more vegetable glycerin in your vape juice). Some want a more powerful 'throat hit' (that needs more propolyene glycol). Some want strong flavors. Some need the hand to mouth ritual. It's easy to adjust the amount of nicotine you are getting.
Once you can identify these aspects, you can fine tune your vaping experience to what YOU want. It will never taste like your old cig, sorry.
Once I got mine like I liked it, I had a shocking thought. I could do this instead of smoking. After a month of two you start to get your taste back (I like lots of Scoville units, but I had to back way off on my normal hot food, once I could taste it properly). I vaped for about 10 years, now have gone about 2 years with nothing.
To calculate the money saved was a huge help. I had an app on my phone, "since my last cigarette" or something. You entered in how much you smoked, and how much it cost. It constantly showed a running total of money saved, and cigarettes NOT smoked. When I was weakening I could look at that, and it sometimes would keep me from backsliding.
Cigarette money became my DCA. Recommended.

This eXPHorizon guy... is he retarded? Or a bot? I mean he's posting nonsense here on WO all day long... every day.. I had to unblock him to catch up on his recent blather. He's the guy that has allegedly been in bitcoin for years, but appeared here begging for 3 BTC. He has a tesla fetish, and lives in mom's basement. He seems to have got into the liquor cabinet. He posts a lot of children's cartoons. Best to block his waste of electrons here.

Dang! I was just getting the hang of it again. You can play online Wow, emulation has come a long way. Does IDKFA still give you God mode? My personal mnemonic for that was "I Do Kick Fucking Ass". I used to dual-boot to DOS, for best performance playing Doom. and Descent2, and Wolfenstein 3D. That was the last time I gamed. Since then, my only game has been TCP/IP. Edit: Ok, those and Redneck Rampage. (disdainfully): "City Folk"
