Yes same problem. After two months of waiting and constant pestering I decided to cancel my withdraw and do a SEPA withdraw. They don't have any relations with any British banks at the moment or something like that so there is no ETA as to when they can do wire transfers. Buy BTC and then sell in EURO's so you can then do a SEPA withdraw. They take about 2-3 weeks apparently.

I'm not a day trader but I follow the this thread (ie. the best thread to keep up to date in bitcoin and recent events) but as my spare time is limited I struggle to follow every page. I'd just like to know what peoples opinions are on why the price is currently going up. My feeling is people buying in anticipation on what this weekends events will produce? I'd start a separate thread but I've been lurking around here for a few years now and have learned that this thread is the best source of opinions (in my opinion ). there's a lot going on, and its all being down played by the "bad news" that the government is starting to regulate the cash flow out of bitcoin. IMO the fact that government is taking notice is a good thing, and i see big projects in the works, with some real funding backing it up, this will have serious consequences for bitcoin. when the FUD turns to Facts, bitcoin will blast off with more force then we have ever seen before. For better or worse, and despite the fact that some people believe that bitcoin is impervious to government intervention, I believe that it is inevitable. Whether that ends up been good or bad is yet to be seen but the sooner it is dealt with the better.

I can see these walls have been going up but people still need to have the confidence to buy into them. Which I presume is down to the anticipation that this weekend has built up to. It seems to me a lot have been sitting on the fence waiting to see what happens this weekend and now people are trying to get there foot in the door before the next guy.

I'm starting to wish I hadn't bothered with this site. It's been 5 days since a deadline has past on one of the bets and still no conclusion has been drawn.

Here's mine for reference:
Core speed - 1125mhz Mem speed - 685mhz Voltage - 1112v (stock) Temps - ~50° (water cooled) Hash speed (avg) - 650 Flags - None Miner - Default GUIminer (poclbm)
I find the biggest factor to optimum hashing power is what driver you use. I am pretty sure i am on 12.8 as anything newer doesn't seem to be as good.
I also used to have 4x 5870's mining in a dedicated rig I set up. I had a low end AMD sempron (by recommendation) but found this was bottle necking my hashing power. I upgraded the CPU and all was well. I thought this would be worth noting as I don't know what the rest of your rig is.

So... here are my todays results... I panic sold 0.33 BTC some hours ago and panic bought 0.34 BTC some minutes ago... lol. I am a noob. Maybe I should leave this game. I personally feel i have learned a lot after todays events. Hopefully I will be able to use what i have learned to be better prepared for next time this happens. I was lucky that I had some cash in the exchange at the time to take advantage of the situation.

Has anyone managed to get what could be considered some cheap coins out of this. Managed to get a couple my self but I am struggling to get anymore. Orders just sitting there Edit: Just got another did ok by selling at the top and setting orders to buy in on the way down but could have done a lot better if was able to buy in real time Im pretty sure it would not have gone as low as you bought for had it been working in real time. The lag has caused people to panic sell. probably, but I dont think the lag causes the panic sell, its the panic sell that causes the lag, but I will be moving to an exchange where you can make orders in real time for one third the price for sure I still have a lot to learn in these situations but I am happy with the small profit I have potentially gotten out of this.

I tought that I would be smart if I placed a sell order for 1 BTC at 117.9. Well, as it turned out, the sell order was at 1.0 BTC for the volume of 117.9 So all my coins were sold.... I got a huge amount of new coins, huge, I'm happy. Now climb you bastard, climb. Show the world why they should be in awe! Did you get 117.9 new coins by any chance

Ironically, you posted this right after I received my BitForce SC
I don't like it when people say this but I believe in this instance it is a necessary evil: Pictures or it didn't happen! Edit: Damn it! Just realised what day it is and at what time you posted. Touche!
