Is there a reason that both "https://suqa.org/" and "https://sinchain.org/" kick back a security warning while trying to view the main pages, does the organization need to update their security certificates?

any plan to add CryptoNight R?

I second that request.  Smiley

Another request!
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POW][MN] ⚡️RESQChain⚡️ - For when the Devs have left the building on: March 08, 2019, 05:23:55 AM
- The Swap platform checks all active addresses for transactions every 15 minutes and processes them in the queue automatically.

EDIT - Please ignore this Tech Support request, the transaction did get swapped and sent to my new RESQ wallet, but it did take my sample transactions between 4 to 5 hours, and not the 15 minutes beyond confirmation, but this request can now be ignored

 Original question below,

Is the swap platform actively working yet, I made an account there like the instructions you gave, I then made two small sample deposits to the address generated by https://swap.resqchain.org/home for depositing my old resq, and yet the confimations on the block chain have gone through, but the RESQ Swap site itself is not showing deposits or sending the coins along to my new RESQ chain wallet,

this is the confirmation to the address provided to me on the RESQ swap site of = QVWRGVKxHYuhfeRVpr1GNVBrwzSnyvg5QD

http://explorer.resqchain.org:3001/address/QVWRGVKxHYuhfeRVpr1GNVBrwzSnyvg5QD

Block Chain says that they arrived, but the https://swap.resqchain.org/home has had zero updates of deposits, or sent any coins out to my new wallet,

These very small transactions were to make sure the system is working as intended,

So Please let me know if the Swap website is active or not, for resqold > RESQ ?

Thanks,

Does MTP use more Bandwidth from your internet service provider than other algorithms, I am attempting to trouble shoot something on my end, and it sure seems that way, or am I looking down the wrong path,

It does, but unless you have ADSL with its low upload bandwidth it shouldn't be a problem)

I do have ADSL, and normally can play Ping dependent games online, at the same time I have 21 GTX1070ti's spread around 3 mining rigs doing their thing, but MTP just seemed to cause my mining rigs to eat up all the bandwidth, thus causing massive latency in my gaming,
Thanks for the response, I would like to hear others experience with MTP as well,

SMOS is being talked about on YouTube videos for being extremely slow to implement new Algorithms, like the CCminer or zjazz miner, that supports X22i,
It looks as if the X22i coin SUQA, will have a block reward halving, prior to SMOS ever even implementing the algorithm,
It is really sad to have all of my rigs on SMOS, and yet they are being so slow to respond to new algorithms, I would really appreciate taking advantage of my rigs Hashrate, Prior to an Algorithm becoming popular, and completely mainstream...

@tytanick

Would you please add an x21i miner such as this one, for mining the x21i algorithm?

New CCminer variant!

https://github.com/SUQAORG/ccminer-x22i/releases/tag/v1.0.0

I would very much like to turn my mining rigs towards this algorithm, but need the miner software in SMOS beforehand,

thanks!

Is there a goal of listing on an exchange like Crypto-Bridge at some point in the near future, for those that may wish to purchase this coin and not mine it?

I will tomorrow handle some miners and add as much as i can ( already few of those are prepared)

this seems promising, if you are adding new miners,

About todays Telegram alert Smiley
Accually everyone got this message today including me Smiley
Today there was time change exactly at that moment.
Le me tell you what happened.

There was 01:59 a.m.
Then at the 2:00 the was time change which teleported all servers clocks from 2:00 to 3:00.
And in database all rigs had still the last update time as 2:00.
But then kicked in telegram cron which saw that all rigs had last report hour ago (more than 15 minutes from current server time).
OK then so lets send notifications to all users and wake them up Cheesy
One minute later all rigs updated their status to and in database appeared new good date as 03:01 a.m in all rigs lastUpdate time.
Then telegram ofcourse send another batch of notifications after 15 minutes rigs beeing online Smiley

So anyway, the rigs were mining and they did not see any change, but my servers saw the change in time and reacted as they were programmed.
Thats why You did not see that problem yourself but the server saw it Smiley
So thats what happened here Cheesy

Thanks for the prompt response, and excellent explanation!!!

BETA TELEGRAM notifications of rigs beeing offline for more than 15 minutes or going again online - click on user settings(your email) in right top corner of the dashboard

This excited me, So I signed up for Telegram, and registered my SMOS with my new Telegram, and about three hours later, I get a ding on my phone, listing all three of my rigs (about 11,000 sol's on Equihash) are down, So I log into simplemining, and none of my rigs are down, and the counter is at ON(0) down time, and I look at my Suprnova dash board and none of my rigs are down, so as to make sure that I had the correct stats, I logged out of simplemining and back in, and the down time stats were still at ON(0), but then randomly five minutes later, I get another Telegram message saying all of my rigs are back online, but neither SMOS website or my Suprnova web page show any downtime, SMOS web site still reporting ON(0),

I am sending this not as a complaint, but as a possible BUG report, since I do not think any of my rigs went down, but that the new SMOS telegram down time reporting was in error,

When mining with dstm v0.6.0, i have noticed sometimes there is a ">" symbol on the left side of the screen next to one ore more gpu's. Does anyone know what this means?

on the very first page of the DSTM miner on this here forum, they describe what the symbols are,

read all about it here,

Hello,

20 mins ago, something happened, when you click on Rig Groups -> Miner programs, there is no longer a list with the available miners..hence you cannot configure anymore the miners, but there is a message "No matching records found", I've tried 2 profiles still the same... any clue?

Thanks and Regards,
DA

my miners went down yesterday after working without issue for about a month... not sure what the problem is but I just tried adding the new claymore and experienced the same issue.

Hmm, ok it is not only me then Smiley, maybe Tytanick is updating something or connectivity issues e.g. to some DB/storage are present... i believe it is temporary, however we need to raise hand Smiley

btw it is a funny situation.. i was just playing with -ethi and now it is @ 6 and i mine with 100MH/s less Cheesy .. i've trapped myself... ha ha

Cheers.

Happening here for me as well, stuck at "No matching records found" where I should have a list of possible mining programs,

darkschneider78 - Welcome to the forum. Don't worry I'll try to help you but let me get a few things out of the way before others get to them.

1 - such a noob.
2 - noob do your own research
3 - retard noob, retard question

Ok, now that we have that out of the way...

Your cpu only has 6mb of cache to share for the 4 cores. You might be able to get away with mining monero, sumo or electroneum on 3 of the cores.

As for you video card, does it have 4GB of memory? I am not super familiar with that card. google says somewhere between 15-20 MH/s on Ether. That would only be about $22-$28 per month.

yes a GTX 970 has 4gb of ram,

and yes everything whoismoses stated is mostly true, but in some counties of this world with subsidized electricity, and a general population that makes less than 3 dollars a day, making an Extra $22-$28 per month, is a substantial amount of money,

old World Bank stats, "According to the most recent estimates, in 2013, 10.7 percent of the world’s population lived on less than US$1.90 a day" which is 800 million people give or take a few,
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: HELP : Best way to power Risers & what are 'miners' on: March 10, 2018, 09:24:29 PM
Please tell me how do I power my risers. I have 2 Antec 750W PSUs (non modular) which will power my 12*1050 ti rig. My riser have a SATA, molex and 6-pin slot. The retailer from which I bought my mining stuff was powering the same rig and risers with SATA on a modular PSU.

And What the hell are miners ? What is this claymore, ethash and stuff ? I want to start my rig today so please tell me which miner is best for mining etherium. I will mine using Hive OS. Also point me towards best wallet and pool.

Thanks a lot guys, you are the best.

here is a video by Voskcoin where he helps a friend build a 1050ti build from scratch, this may answer many of your questions, then check out his video's on Miner's to finish off with...

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bminer: a fast Equihash miner for CUDA GPUs (5.5.0) on: March 10, 2018, 09:52:59 AM
I have also noticed these strange issues. Although there is a constant high hashrate on the console, I see there is lot of variance on the pool site hashrate and they are lower. Sometimes for a short period it peaks and is increased but, for a short period. This was observed consistently across several pools. I have been using Bminer for a while however, with these observations and the dev not really addressing the issue that is a concern.

I will be returning back to the more obvious and consistent DSTM.

This is exactly what I experienced and exactly what I did, back on DSTM hashing away,

I really liked the interface of Bminer's stats, telling me I was getting more, I simply would like to experience those actual stats, I feel the GUI was giving false readings at this point...
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: March 07, 2018, 01:41:43 AM
Same issue as dougnliz, started just around 2-3 hours ago for the first time. Also SSH down, script that pings me every for minutes also does not ping anymore. Whats going on? On the official chat there are more people with the issue.
Rig responds to ping, but does not let to SSH.

Possibly just claymore 11.2 update buggy (switched to it just yesterday)?

about  two to three hours ago this also began happening to my rigs, first it was one rig, that went to status OFF(0), after having never been down in days, then the second rig went off, then the third, all staggered around an hour apiece, I can reboot them and get them booted back up, and they start taking work, but they never talk with the Simple Miner servers, and thus show OFF(0) on the simple miner dashboard, there is something really odd going on here, it's as if the simple miner management server is having an issue?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EDIT, I was experiencing the same trouble and no amount of rig resetting was solving my problem, So I went into the Simple miner dash board from my windows pc, deleted the three rigs, rebooted the machines, they then came online with no OC setting and no rig names, everything back to default, I re-entered all of my known good parameters, from Rig names, to OC settings, and mining groups, and now everything is back working as intended, so hopefully this is a permanent solution, if they go back into a compete lock out state again, I will update,

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bminer: a fast Equihash miner for CUDA GPUs (5.4.0) on: March 06, 2018, 02:47:56 AM
I've heard a lot of rumors on bminer

Do you trust bminer / use it?

Have you compared it w/ dstm and if so which one earned more (side by side comparison is needed not one after the other)

There seems to be a lot of hate against bminer, anyone have some good links to facts supporting X claim?

several people have tried to compare side by side but they don't have enough hashrate to make it accurate. you should take 2 rigs and compare them for your youtube channel. just run them for 24 hours, swap dstm/bminer on each rig at the 12 hour mark and see what you find out. or do it for a 3 days etc.

i know bminer over reports on the console for sure. i've tried it for a few weeks on my 1070ti rig and it was stable/consistent, seemed like it could be a tad faster than dstm...but without running side by side at the same time, who knows lol.

side note, how is your mining room remodel going?

I second this idea, but if shady things are happening, Voskcoin would even need to obfuscate his rig names (so Bminer does not know they are Voskcoin rigs), and run them for longer than 24 hours side by side one on DSTM one Bminer, same hash rate, against the same pool, with seperate wallet address or User names, if for instance he chooses (Suprnova?), a truly blind study,  so as to insure that the Bminer coder does not give preferential treatment to Voskcoin rigs, since that has been somewhat speculated, that Bminer is tunneling into the rigs remotely and switching pools for longer than any Dev fee should account for...
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SHOW ME YOUR RACK! Miner Porn Thread on: March 06, 2018, 02:19:46 AM
My First intention was to completely max out one rig before expanding rig two and then eventually three, but after placing 13 GPU's on the first frame and gauging the power consumption and what my wiring should be able to consistently handle running 24 hours a day, I spread my cards out over three rigs and then spread them around the home, so as to have no single rig running over 1100 watts, well under the home 110 volt wiring specs, since my circuit breakers are all 30 amp fuses, I am using less than half of what the breakers would pop at this way,

these are 20 EVGA 1070 ti SC Hybrids, with a random single 1070 ti, and an old GTX 970 that I put to work as the far left card on the first rig, 11,000 Sol/s (Equihash) combined for the three rigs,

with room to expand some if desired,
