1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Making 1% Daily on: October 02, 2018, 06:13:47 AM
Yes, in the forex markets I've been told it's 1-2% per month and 3-5% for very exceptional traders, 300% returns is unheard of, if you made 10% per month you are one of the very few. I do know a fund that pays out 1% per day on a $1k investment as a bond, 0.5% for $10k and something like 0.25% for $100k, but they invest with professional traders who generate mind boggling returns, but also use $multi-million software to do it, which I'm sure you don't have. No, you will not make that any time soon trading, long term trading over months or years is possible but you have to pick the highs and lows, easier said than done.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ~BTC in Medical Industry on: October 02, 2018, 05:50:32 AM
we don't know how the future of bitcoin for human life, which I know bitcoin is currently used as an investment product. very rare there are cafes and markets that receive bitcoin, only in some countries that have legalized bitcoin can accept bitcoin as a means of payment.
the health industry is still very limited to receive bitcoin as a means of payment, I just heard that there are hospitals that receive bitcoin in America. probably not all patients also use bitcoin to pay for the treatment.
I believe in the future there will be a condition where the state will make cryptocurrency as a payment transaction, maybe bitcoin is not ideal for digital payment tool.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can We Finally Call This the DEATH of Bitcoin?!? on: October 02, 2018, 05:47:09 AM
Bitcoin still leads from all cryptos in the crypto advertise world. It has a considerable measure of significant worth to proceed with the procedure. A few reasons on the grounds that the value drops, does not mean it bites the dust. Today bitcoin ought to have the capacity to confront the circumstance for a few tricksters. There are days when bitcoin can be free from misleading and the greater part of that craving will be immaculate on the off chance that we have a decent mentality.

Yes, he doesn't normally leave a position of the forum unappointed when there's a need and someone who can fill the slot.

Potentially produce some sort of shortlist on a thread fore each section that is without a moderator. The shortlist should be Sr members plus at least (theymos isn't going to trust someone who has only been here a few weeks to run a board of the forum - with a higher ranked account there's more for the user to lose).
Although, theymos has made users that have been lower ranked than Sr Member. I believe rickbig was one of these members. Of course, I would agree that higher ranked members have less of a risk associated with them, but certainly not in all cases.

Snip
Xalolex and frodocooper were selected as  moderators much younger than a Sr. Member but they are doing their job well...

Exactly, the rank doesn't determine the value of a user. Although Trust matters a lot. And Moreover it is not necessary the MODS Should get paid as soon as they appointed as a MOD. Some people are there who doesn't even as for the salary. The thing only matter that Theymos doesn't love the sub-forums any more.
5  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos Doesn't love the Forum Anymore ?? !!!!! on: May 07, 2018, 05:08:30 AM
Thanks to all for your replies and Suggestions .

I noticed some of the user said that Send a list of Members who wanted to Moderate the Sub-Forum to Theymos. But what will happen with that. We all Know Theymos will ignore that. Same happened with the Indian Sub forum when some users posted here that they need Mod but their request is ignored.

Moreover Theymos doesn't have Guts to answer here. He loves Hiding.

No Offence

Hello Guys,
Thanks For stepping here.
I guess now Theymos is not aware of what going on the local Forums ??

There are No Mods in the Following Section Hrvatski (Croatian) , India ,    한국어 (Korean) , Skandinavisk

Is he aware what wrong is going on the local sections ? I guess No. If he do knows then he would have chosen the Mods right now.

If you Guys think that the Local Forums are not so active and for that reason May Theymos is not choosing the Mods, then you are wrong.

עברית (Hebrew)  and    日本語 (Japanese)  These are the two Local Forums which have many less topics created but they have the Mods.

So @Theymos have you been recently to any of the Local Forums , if you have been then you could have understand the problem. Many of the topics are not in right section. Some are spamming the sections with their referral links. Some too using automatic translations in the forum.

So Kindly @Theymos look about this issue.

And Rest of the user, what do you think ? Why Theymos is doing so ?

Theymos Doesn't love the Forum Anymore ?

Hello Guys,
It's now time for us to get a New Korean sub-forum Moderator. At the present time there is no Moderator in the Korean sub forum and the admin's post is still pinned in the sub-forum https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1764772.0

It is now a days very annoying that People are spamming there referral link and off-topic posta in the Main section of the forum. Thread that belongs to altcoins section are also posted in the Main sub-forum. Reporting posts is also not helping i guess. As we can still see those shitposts down there. (This maybe because present mods can't understand Korean?) So we reall need a Korean guy as a Moderator.

I don't know how the Moderator has to be choosen but as i see in the last posts of theymos that "Those who report more" get the chance to be a MOD. So kindly post here the all time reporters and we may elect him/her as  a Mod.
I am too trying to report as many posts as i can to become a Mod.

Theymos also has the rights to choose the Mod without Election i guess. So whatever necessary steps are possible please do so. We really need a Korean Mod as instant as you can.

Thanks For reading this.

Regards

I agree. I am also seeing a lot of auto translated posts and scams. However, when I reported them, the moderator responded to some scam reports but not to auto translations. But it would be great to have a moderator to clean up the Korean forum. I feel like there are just too many rubbish auto translations or services that provide auto translations. They should be moderated for sure.

Yeah agree. There are lots of more people who are spamming the forum with their referral link too. Some threads also also need to be Moved.

No response from Admin or Mods ?

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we really need Bitcoin? on: April 14, 2018, 09:47:05 AM
the great points is, most online purchases today are made via credit cards, but in the 1920s and 30s, when the first of credit cards appeared, the Internet was not yet known. actualy, Credit cards should never be used online because they are not secure. An online form file requires that you enter all confidential information, such as credit card numbers, expiration dates, and CSV numbers into the web. This is why credit card numbers continue to be stolen.
to the contrary, in a Bitcoin transaction, you are not required to provide any confidential information
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: your mentality after a huge loss? on: April 10, 2018, 04:36:39 AM
Yes off course I will try out another way out. I mean in the trading only and wonít go for another way of earning. Nah would be insane to do. If Iím loosing money on the trade then Iím most probably not working properly on my trades. The crypto currencies are the one which gives us more stability than anything else, the stability in terms of continue growth so you can trust at least 7 out of 10 crypto currencies to trade on. This means you have better chances of having trades if you hold for long terms and show some great patience against it.  Just because we were not able to make good trade in first doesnít mean that you will end up loosing agin. The thing is you should always go for another trade with the goal to achieve more new heights and recover the loss that you had. Donít switch!
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For how long will bitcoin exist on: April 09, 2018, 12:55:20 PM
The market is an open court, it embraces development and innovation, specially if it is beneficial to the market industry and to the entire economy. Bitcoin has proven its worth not only for individuals but for the whole system it has been rolling for almost a decade. Reviewing the record since day one up to now, bitcoin had weathered every storm that has been a hitch on its success. Looking at this technology right now, it is so far from over.
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: April 09, 2018, 11:57:28 AM
I believe that trading is also about luck A successful short trade can only be done if the price of bitcoin increased shortly after you bought them. For example, the people that bought bitcoins before the price went up to 1,100$ after just a couple of days. They didn't study anything at all. They just got lucky that at the time they bought their coins the price went up dramatically. You can say that the timing was good or something but it's actually just luck since you don't know when exactly would the price of bitcoin go up.

But since not all of us gets lucky like this, most of us end up holding bitcoins for a long time even when some of us really wanted to just do some short trade and then exit the scene with their profit.

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you even read whitepaper bro? on: April 06, 2018, 10:40:36 AM
Whitepaper can give me headache after spending time reading it so i just choose to read the very important part of the whitepaper and even i don't read it fully, i know i am still on the right track. Recently, i have busted a scam ICO when i read their erroneous whitepaper which in fact were just copied somewhere in the internet plus mentioning a very suspicious person to be part of their team.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you a True Believer? on: April 06, 2018, 09:04:19 AM
To be honest, I think the bitcoin is fulfilling the goal of revolutionizing the world of economics and finance as we have known it until now, but I am not so sure that it has enough breath to resist all the adversities and division that they harass it. Surely there will be new generations of cryptocurrencies that will replace it over time, but I still believe that fiat money will continue to be used for at least another century
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC at end of bounty campaign on: April 05, 2018, 01:14:30 PM
I do understand why they do it, they want to stop people with multiple and fake accounts.
However I agree with you that they should announce this at the start because I personally would never participate in a bounty campaign if I knew there was KYC.
But because they all say that the rules can change during the campaign there is nothing you can do about it.
I have participated in 2 campaigns on bitcointalk where I got nothing or stopped during the campaign because some stupid rules came forth in the middle of the campaign so now I'm trying to only participate on bounties outside bitcointalk.

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Giveaway threads are not allowed on: April 05, 2018, 07:10:30 AM
Am happy that something has been done to prevent this from happening. Too many topics where been made just to promote and give coins out for people to use and try creating   lot of exposure and good vibes about coins when most where just worthless. If people want to do a give away then at least do that give-away on their own site or a place where it can be done. Maybe make a section up just for coin giveaway to keep stuff in one section and no everywhere.

Maged once again I have looked up what you have put together here and read through it. Just wanted to say thank you for this highly informative text, which nowadays will play a rising role and of course also in the way clients will evaluate exchanges and their offerings and how they deal with their personal data
