According to bitcoinwisdom.com calculator, the antminer s1's ROI in about 90 days.

Is this about correct? More? Less?

Hi,

Each S1 Antminer has 2 X 6 pin PCIE connections. One connection per blade.

The reasonable declaration for E.U Customs means that Bitmain convert the BTC price you paid him to USD ( U.S. Dollars ) and declare that on the Customs form. This means you will have to pay your Countries import charges based on that Dollar value.

For the E.U. they declare full value for what you have paid. They will not declare a lower value for E.U. Customs.

Your English is just fine.

Thanks man.

So for psu with 1x6pin I can use molex to 6pin adapter to second connector?
Also the wifi port is normal RP-SMA connector?

20% additional price sucks.  Sad

NO. You can't use a molex connector, it will cause a fire. Normal wifi

Really? So for psu to be compatible it needs to have 2+ 6pin pcie connectors?

Just to make sure before ordering..

Is there one or two 6pin connectors per 180ghs/360w unit?

What does this mean? I'm in EU and English is not my native language.

"The Declaration For The Customs: Reasonable Value Declaration is for EU customers."

Will they put a cheaper price on the package to avoid high import taxes?

Awesome threads dogie, awesome!

There is no encryption in Bitcoin
Also, only other sha256 coins like devcoin or namecoin

Ah, thanks! I will look up both of them.
9  Other / Beginners & Help / What cryptocurrencies can these ASICs mine? on: July 08, 2013, 09:43:29 AM
So, these ASICs designed for bitcoins, using SHA256, can they be used for other cryptocurrencies using same encryption?

I was thinking of investing in some ASICs but it would feel good to have something to switch to if BTC would turn less profitable.

My first thread by the way, looking forward getting to know you all.

Bitcoin and Litecoin will be around for a long time... Just ride the waves and chill... Cool

Thats what I wanted to hear.

What will happen when BFL and Avalon get their new batches out? How much will the difficulty rise?
Will bitcoins end by the time they get these asic batches out?

Hey all. This is my first post on the forums.

Thought perhaps I could get some answers in this thread instead of posting a new one as the topic is fairly relevant to my questions.

Is it worth investing and getting in the ASIC mining game now? I can have it going in about a month or two.
Some of my friends adviced me not to investing in a few ASICs due to the topic here, its dead, or soon to be.

Can these ASIC devices be used for mining any other altcoins, like, name- or litecoins?

Best regards.
