Looking to sell the domain fpga.wiki. I bought it to create something there myself but I don't have the time to properly manage and maintain a wiki. It's registered with Namecheap so I can push it to your account for free, or I can transfer it out to another registrar. We can use any escrow you want, so long as they are trusted. Starting bid: $20 End date and time: 10:30 AM, 4 April 2021 (2 weeks after this thread posted) Payment methods accepted: Bitcoin, Monero

Dtor has a maximum supply of 184.467.440 coins with a slow and steady emission over 50 years.
How will the dynamic block size work when the base reward get to 0?

Hi, I am selling a few of my domains because I don't have the time to give them the attention that they deserve. They are all registered with Namecheap. Domain | Expiry | Price | monero.host | 19 December 2019 | $49 | monero.pink | 19 December 2019 | $39 | xmr.wiki | 8 September 2020 | $149 |
All amounts payable in Bitcoin or Monero. Can be transferred to your Namecheap account for free, you will cover the transfer costs if you choose another registrar. We can use any trusted escrow on BitcoinTalk. Finally, feel free to PM me on site with any questions or offers. Cheers, Matt.

We have a wallet exploit related to coinbase transactions. There will be a patch released on github on the 6th at 4pm GMT, so in about 4 days. In the meantime, you can be safe against any exploits by running "set refresh-type no-coinbase" in monero-wallet-cli. This should be set for every wallet you're running. This is a persistent flag, so once you quit monero-wallet-cli and start monero-wallet-rpc on that same wallet, the setting will persist. This is not a consensus bug, no double spend, no coins created out of thin air, etc.
Arbitrary code execution? Wallet DoS? edit not as fun as that. it's like the double counting wallet bug from before Looks like the patch came early. https://patch-diff.githubusercontent.com/raw/monero-project/monero/pull/5216.patch

In any case, McClaren has done good in testing. We might see a new leader outside Mercedes, Ferrari and Redbull.
If that ever happens, it won't be McLaren

Crypto has to be anonymous like BTC, ETH and should never represent a company.
That's true. I don't understand how a "decentralised network" can have a CEO. Monero perhaps will gain #1 spot for anonymity.
It already has that. The question is how can a decentralized network of this kind come into existence without a CEO in the beginning? Someone has to start it although the role of that someone should be in line with what we envision as a "decentralized" network. You need governance as well. Bitcoin never had a CEO, and neither did Monero.

What is MoneroV (XMV) Cryptocurrency?
A shitcoin. Didn't even need to open the article to know that

p.s. please Monero team clean up the forum getmonero.org. I believe we can find even penis enlargement techniques there...
I believe the forum is going into a read-only mode soon, and then deleted completely shortly after that.

What do people think bullet proof and locked ringsize will do for average transaction fees? Any estimates at this point?
Why estimate it when you can go try it out for yourself? This random 1-in-2-out transaction has a size of 1.9 kB and a fee of 40 microneroj (about $0.002)

WE MUST propose mining algo more resistant to both ASICs and FPGAs.
There was a proposal from hyc for a revolutionary new algorithm, named RandomJS, that would work best on commodity CPUs. I haven't looked at it too deeply but the little that I saw I liked. Doing ASICs or FPGAs for it would be extremely hard and the results would most probably not be efficient. I think the downside of RandomJS is that GPUs would be at a significant disadvantage, and there are lots of miners that have invested large sums into GPU rigs. I don't know what the current status of RandomJS is, but you can contact hyc on reddit and ask him. There's also SChernykh's CryptonightR.

probably something to do with getting all that moisture on their hashblades No, the OP is right. Water is good for power consumption. If you throw it all over your miner it stops consuming power!
