If you are using a VPN, it could also be the cause. Shut it down or use the same IP you used when it worked days ago.
Yap, the closing my VPN did it for several weeks ago. I had the same problem with my Trustwallet app then, the support unit suggested i turned off my VPN and it worked instantly!

Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Crypto Marketet Is Dumping Drastically !!
on: February 20, 2019, 05:47:53 PM
To be short, it was drastically pumped, so do you think it will be dumped another way? - NO Another thing, crypto market is influenced by news and crowd expectations. If crowd panics, imagine what happens with the market... Exactly bro, news and unresearched information is what majorly controls the market. This information causes panic and dump most especially from new investor. Some don't even bother to read the main content of the news, they see an 'enticing' headline, they start acting on it!

Economy / Exchanges / Re: New Bitcoin Exchange Launches in Nigeria, Africa: Guava Exchange

on: February 19, 2019, 05:59:32 PM

OP, is the restriction placed on Bitcoin by the Nigeria government been lifted? If yes, then this is another great news. It's nice to see that many countries especially Africa countries are embracing cryptocurrency. We hope that them embracing cryptocurrency can help eliminate economic poverty and enhance public sectors transparency since this is what is majoring pulling some developing Africa countries down.

Economy / Speculation / Re: FRUSTRATED AT THE MARKET.
on: February 19, 2019, 09:05:11 AM

If you got frustrated from long period of red you do not know bitcoin at all. Do you think it's the first time so? Take a look on the whole history of bitcoin's ups and downs through decade and your frustration will disappear.
Exactly, that the number one mistake many new investor makes, they rush into cryptocurrency without bothering to make adequate research about it. It is best to read up on it and knows what the market had went through to know if this business is truly for you. And Yes, there is possibility of making money but it will really take a long time for it to achieve.

Economy / Economics / Re: Ethic & Sustainable Mining

I would say that going 100 percent solar and renewable energy is the best. Compare to before, mining is not like the way it was before. To some people; it is fading away and not quite profitable as it was before whereas to some it is still profitable and this could be because they are probably mining in an environment where electricity cost is low or using the solar as source of energy. If I where to chose, I personally prefer solar then the usual electricity energy. it's just all about staying on a safer side.

Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is currently in an uptrend reversal.
on: February 18, 2019, 03:21:10 PM
Well, it's no new news or new thing. Bitcoin has it own way of moving but many people don't seems to understand this. They keep expecting the big continuous sky rocking growth where the price price keeps moving non stop. High price will come but it requires time. I still have few BTC keep away in my wallet. I'm not selling any sooner.

Economy / Economics / Re: Study says 79% of cryptocurrency event attendees are men
on: February 15, 2019, 05:29:20 AM
I can't say how accurate the study is but one thing I know is that the 'possible' reason why males are the most attendees of crypto events is because men are 'mostly' the CEO or brain founder of most cryptocoins or project so they need to represent their projects.
Though, this does not particularly means that women don't get involve, they do. Just my two cents though.

Well, this is a welcomed development and it's interesting to see that this is happening in China where cryptocurrency established through the 'blockchain' technology is been rejected. Hopefully, this will open ground or chances for bitcoin and prominent cryptocurrency.

Economy / Speculation / Re: we're pumpin right now
on: May 10, 2018, 11:19:59 PM
I can personally say we shouldn't just be over excited about any little pump in the price of bitcoin. I know many of us are excited when crossed and passed the price of $6k because we might have bought when the price is high, but there is no need be over joyful about the increase cause there might be a situation when the price of bitcoin will be down drastically. Cryptocurrency is quite unpredictable.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you wait to prove them wrong about Bitcoin?
on: May 10, 2018, 11:00:13 PM
For me, I don't want to waste my time for those people who doesn't believe in Bitcoin. If they not then they not. I don't need to waste my time to those who are like them.
That's another thing, I seriously get tired of trying to convince people that cryptocurrency is the future. Many people I have tried to convince do use to think that I am a scammer, trying to make a few bucks from them. Most times, some of them do ask me, 'where is the bitcoin? How can we see it?' When I try to make them understand that bitcoin or other cryptocurrency can't be seen or touched like our local fiat currency, they turn deaf ears to explanation.

Economy / Speculation / Re: Not a good time to buy, according to this source
on: May 10, 2018, 09:08:34 PM
OP, if you trust the source and the expert who makes these claims, then good for you. Because some sources might have made claims that didn't work at the end. From the way, the bitcoin price is and is moving, something keeps telling me that the price won't go down again. So, I suggest you should buy if you want to buy because it might be dipping. But let's keep monitoring it.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin cash can compete to bitcoin?
on: May 10, 2018, 04:20:27 PM
OP, there is no debate here, and there can never be. Bitcoin has and will never have anything to do with Bitcoin Cash. Though, bitcoin cash is an 'okay' coin but they are not related. Apart from Bitcoin Cash, there are other coins as Bitcoin gold, Bitcoin diamond and bitcoin blah, blah, blah...all are just bitcoin wanna be which emerged from the for. So please don't think they can compete.
