Hi, I have two questions: -First why there are big differences between the pool (typemine) and the miner
Can you clarify what you mean by this please? If it is the way the pool website looks its just purely cosmetic, but if you mean something else please let me know.

Hello Miners! Which pool do you prefer and why?
I tried pinging the pools listed on the first page, but I guess they have some protection so I don't get any ping replies.
Official pool has 1% fee, while others have 0.5%. However official pool pays at 10WEB, while community pools pay at 1WEB.
Please share your two WEBs (cents).
Since the DDoS attacks I have started mining on TypeMine pool and I'm happy with results - fast and regular paymenets, no downtime, nice hashrate. There are 3 difficulties to choose and premade config for miner. Thanks for the kind words Sud Really appreciate your support!

hello, I have just started my mining, and having a problem already: when I go to https://pool.webchain.network/ to see my history - I dont have any info. "How to" says that it will apear after the miner has sent the first accepted share. but how will I know it?? (don't be too strict to me, because I am a beginner and have chosen you, because your servise seems to be simple) Make sure you have accepted shares. If so double check your address and have a look @ the block explorer https://explorer.webchain.network/

Airdrops and Bounty's for the most part just attract the people you dont want - those who dont give a toss other than to get free coins to sell them as soon as they can. Start mining Webchain, its easy and you get a good return for even low end hardware or just buy it . Its around .01 USD so you can get so many for very little investment.

I appreciate stable official pool especially in early days. However, with current hash distribution the blockchain is not suitable for trustless transactions instead we need to trust pool operator not to mess around - Not that I wouldn't, but it's just not the point in blockchain tech. Therefore it should be one of the top priorities to reach full decentralization. Hello! Thanks for your comment. Reaching full decentralization is a common objective when it refers to blockchains. As it has been said before, blockchains create a system where trust is no longer an issue, as it is simply no longer required. Using PoW, we make sure that participants on the network securely agree on the transactions that should be added, plus Webchain is a smart-contracts enabled blockchain, where by definition there is no disputing whether a party fulfilled obligations, as doing so is automated against clearly defined terms. We invite you to join, in case you hadn't already. The only issue being that most of the POW hashrate is bundled into a single pool right now. Which in theory will allow pool operator to add unverified blocks, initiate double spends, etc. Decentralization must be paramont, not just common objective for these kinds of projects. A centralized blockchain is worth nothing more than a centralized database (with public API for transaction transparency). It just won't work as a trustless platform, no matter about having smart contracts or not. Those won't be worth anything, either. I suggest devs make equal promotion for all pools by including an up-to-date pool list in the first post of this thread and on the project website. If you are serious about this you might also consider temporarily closing down official pool or making it less attractive as an alternative by charging higher fees. This is the solution in my opinion. As it stands they control the absolute majority of hashrate and as a result gain the most from pool operation. When you consider the default fee is 5% (which can be lowered to 1%) in addition to the pre-mine of 20%, nothing is really decentralized. If people are OK with that (and it looks like they are by the participation of the official pool) then I guess nothing will change. Its a bit of a conflict of interest in my opinion.

There should be more hashing in the alternative pools and solo mining. Switch over to alt pools guys and open up some more of them. Help decentralize this coin and make attack-proof network and give it a bright future. Right now, official pool combines far more than 51% hashrate.... go figure yourself.
(Mining with pride @typemine gonspool)
Thanks kindly! Appreciate the support. Thats my only issue with Webchain at the moment. They have quite a large premine allocation and they have the absolute majority of hashrate and in return highest return of Web collected as fees. This has to be addressed somehow, its not going to end well if it isnt.

webchain.typemine.com:3333 - diff 4000 raised the difficulty to 3000, then to 4000 ... can I switch to an official pool?
where is the difficulty of 1000?
This has been changed back. We had a hashrate attack on the 1000 diff port causing issues so when this happens I have a script to kick in to alleviate the effects. Stick with us We are trying to make sure there is no downtime. Diff 1000 is for really low end hardware, the problem is many people just automatically connect to that port with high end hardware or server farms. It places massive load on the servers and its actually not optimal for mining results.

That was the most crazy network denial I have seen! Does anyone know how to set the scan time on the miner?
Try settings the option.

What does it take to achieve this hashrate? This is 3 of my own personal servers that would otherwise be used for database hosting. Without this hashrate no one would join my pool because we wouldnt be finding blocks and no one would be getting paid As soon as we get enough miners I will take out some of the servers so everyone gets even more of the block rewards.

if i understand correctly Able will streamline the whole investment process within crypto-currency? How does this apply to fiat > crypto ie banking? I cant wait to see this project develop, this is one of the areas I have the biggest issue with crypto.

Best of luck with the project team. Fractional trading of fixed assets is a great use for crypto and block chain technology.
